Moir Kitchen Chinese in Aberdeen City

Ordered a salt and pepper sharing box , was all chips and very little meat rather disappointed for £16 , another Chinese take away does double meat and less chips for £19 , other wise when we've ordered meals each been lovely, so don't be stingy with your meat bits on sharing box!!!

Their food and the staff are both awesome. The meal was delivered on time and was piping hot.

Ordered through just eat, the food was inedible. Food smelt terrible and the taste was even worse I’ve never had Chinese that bad in my life. £45 down the drain will never order from here again. Avoid at all cost!!

Definitely the worst Chinese I've had in Aberdeen £19 for a munchies box (box oh chips) food was tasteless, portion of chicken fried rice chicken was hard over cooked, as they say first impressions count I'll definitely be avoiding this place 0-10 food is disgusting

Ordered through just eat price came to £17 but had £5 discount voucher so total cost was £12 paying by cash, driver arrived within 30 minutes but asked for £17 , showed him my order on iPad with cost showing £12 but he said no, he wanted the £17 which was on his receipt, told him to take the food away and cancel it , moir kitchen phoned me 5 mins later to say they would send driver back out with the food for the £12 , because of drivers attitude told them to forget it , won’t order from there again

Ordered a meal here while staying nearby. Oh, it’s cash only - a little inconvenient Pancake Rolls were full size and not dripping in grease which was good, usually they’re dripping in grease or the mini ones with barely any content in them. Szechuan Chicken was fine, spicier than expected (compared to others I’ve had) but that’s no bad thing. Only bummer was - I forgot I didn’t have a plate at our lodgings 🙈

That has got to be my worst ever Chinese meal! Chicken satay was more soggy chicken! If it even was that! Couldn’t eat it! Salt n pepper chicken was really dry and crispy and chicken fried rice was chicken in boiled rice! Was just looking for something quick n easy after a long day in hospital n now physically feel sick!!!

Easy to order, fast delivery and generous helpings meal was hot and lovely. Stuffed and loads left for hubby's dinner tom🤣🤣

Absolutely disgusting tonight. Our meal was layered in salt, crispy beef and crispy chicken soggy with loads of salt. Sauces full of salt and vinegar. We couldn’t eat more if we tried or our life depended on it. Would never recommend them to anyone. I think the chef has no taste buds or even tries his food. Think it’s been microwaved from frozen. Absolutely rotten!!!!!!!!!

The chicken balls was very chewy last night after 2 I binned them.wasted 18 pounds last night that's was my treat every 2 months I was recommended by a friend

Had two fantastic meals from here, good size portions and good quality food. Very pleasant staff. Will definitely visit here again next time I visit..

Used moir for many years and never a problem till now. Food order took over 1hr and the wierd delivery driver wouldn't allow me to feel the temperature of my order. RIDICULOUS!!! Excuse was that; I might have ran of with it without paying. Do I look like a seagull? "thieving litter fecker"

Really enjoyed the food until I received a shredded chicken chow mein the size of a starter which cost £6!!.. As a main meal!!.. Was told the chef had done the required amount!!.. I really enjoy the food but requested the money back for the chow mein as it was not the required standard and was refused!!.. If they had taken the time to investigate and got back to me they would see this is a regular order!!.. I did loose my temper but would hope the management would listen to a regular customers complaint and not say the chef said he did the allocated amount!! Times are hard for us all so this was a treat but won't be going back after the attitude I received... Get a new manager and I may come back.. No customer service. She hasn't heard the customer.. Is always right!!

Got a delivery from here, so don't know what the establishment is like . The chicken noodle soup was not great.. Tasted like a quick broth with a few bits of chicken and noodles thrown in...very watery.. The chicken curry was nice though.. good flavours and a good portion size.. All in all, quite a nice meal, just a shame about the soup..

Have used Moir kitchen over a year. Alway was quit happy until. Found plastic in my 2 yr old food.. Rang complained was not interested at all.. My boy was very lucky. No sorry is your child okay just. Free chips!

Another great meals from what I would say is the best Chinese in Aberdeen. Value for money and plenty left over for later lol.

Just upgraded to 4 star, decided to give another try and phoned order so they were not aware of my previous review. Chips were crispy which is unusual for a Chinese but the salt and pepper chicken tasted great with the curry sauce. My hubby got the Tai Chicken Curry with egg fried rice which he also thoroughly enjoyed. Glad things have improved from my previous review which was posted a year ago. Husband just ordered special fried rice with sauce. The sauce was scarce. Chicken was formed. Majority was rice not much of anything else. Don't think will use again.

The food is tasteless, hardly any sauce and for that prices it really isnt worth it, for sure aint coming back should've just went to treasure of china as normal, peace and love baby

Now a regular my son adores there honey ribs and food is good couple times could be done with more sauce as its dry and lately noticed more veg less meat/chicken! Good variety of choices also, Delivery is very good though.

Chips was preheated not enough cheese on them the rest was ok my grandmother had the pancake rolls and they was lovely only thing that we wasn’t happy with was the preheated chips

I had the no5 box and was very impressed with the delivery time very fast and food was amazing 👌 for 2, will definitely buy from here again and my son is hard to please and he was very happy with his 😊

This place has to be one of the worst chinese takeaways for sauce portions as they are the smallest ever just ordered chips rice and sweet and sour sauce mixed and the sweet and sour sauce over the top was a disgrace so all I had was dry chips and rice as there was no sauce won't be visiting again!!!!

Food is absolutely rank! 2 hours for home delivery if they can be bothered actually delivering it! Staffs attitude is horrendous! Do not waste your money

The noodles were overcooked and nothing Thai flavoured as described on menu. Very oily curry and not that tasty at all (floating oil). Chewy meat:-(

Special fried rice was all rice and not a lot of anything else. The chicken was formed and the sauce was rationed. Very poor and probably won't be back.

Restaurant Quality food. Very clean kitchen well maintained. Extremely delicious taste and I usually get it tweaked to my taste and the owner and chef Steven really take care of the order to meet my requirements.

Worked til 5pm on a Sunday and was so hungry so nipped in past Moir Kitchen. Bought a medium salt and pepper box, wow! Got a pizza box full of chicken pieces, veg spring rolls, chips, onions, chilli and a wee tub of sweet and sour sauce, which I swapped for BBQ sauce. Costs £7.99 and is the perfect amount for someone with quite a healthy appetite. Definitely back for more soon
