Big Wok in Aberdeen City

Wasn’t happy with the inch long bone I found in my spring rolls but everything else was good especially the ribs which I’d highly recommend

Smoked shredded chicken was amazing and had lots of flavour. Chicken chow mein was the only let down as it was too gloopy. Other than that, great food.

terrible taste and the worst delivery time ever... over 40minutes late, despite booking the meal at 3 pm to be delivered at 7:30pm. I got the meal 8:42pm, very cold and terrible.

Food delivered not nice atall, ordered salt and pepper lobster balls and tasted nothing like it, tasted like dry chicken. Chicken spring rolls tasted of cheap cubes of processed meat with nothing else in them no veg nothing!! For £20.00 very disappointed

Idk what you guys are on about or if we are eating the same place but this place is literally the best, no other Chinese can beat this , honest here!!!! Whoever said it was horrible must be straight up lying.. 😂😂😂 Food is always fresh and warm whether if I pick it up or delivery.

1 hour 40 minutes for delivery. called Big Wok to be laughed at, that we had money off % already and that everyone was waiting for food. won't be ordering again.

Duck in plum sauce was soggy and tasted of the oil it was fried in and not of duck. Sauce had a thick layer of oil on it. Will not be reordering from here, ever!

Food came later than expected. Box with food was soggy and ripped open leaving food to spill every where. Order was cold. Not enjoyable at alll

the egg fried rice and curry sauce was nice but the rest was bit cold and the onion rings was not crispy and didn't taste as they should

The Thai prawns were weird and not what we expected. The beef chow mein was definitely the worst we have had. Sadly the 40% discount makes sense now. Sorry guys! We won’t be ordering again.

Paid £16 for the Big Wok Platter food was dry and tasteless. We also had the beef Thai green curry and the special chow mien- both tasted like the oil or pan that they were cooked in was using burnt or old oil. Used to love the food here. That will be the last time we buy food from here £31 for a meal we can’t eat so cheese and crackers it is then .

Food all cooked to perfection. Good size potions and ready for collection on time. Value for money! Definitely use again! :)

my salt and pepper ribs where amazing and my crispy chicken was also amazing but my salt and Pepper chicken chicken chow main wasn't I'm afraid to say it tasted weird like something was off and really unpleasant that's didn't get eaten

Ordered a delivery as I had not had one for a wee while. Food had obviously been reheated and the smell that it left in my house was turning my stomach. All food went in the bin and I ordered from elsewhere. Will not be ordering from here again.

The food was delivered early, I phoned the take away to complain and he said well you either got it early or would’ve been late!! Very rude saying nothing he could do about it, considering it was over half an hour early the chicken box was Luke warm!

loved my order from big wok, really liked the shredded chicken box, comes with chips rice and curry sauce (although I wish there was a choice of sauces) great value as always

Only ten minutes late not a problem , food still hot . Seaweed best ever , lobster balls lacking in salt chilli flavour but OK , char Sui foo yung terrific , pad thai generous but lacking in flavour . Application of fish sauce , soy etc .be back .

I Ordered take away the food was spoiled smell, I asked my husband to check the food is spoiled or not ! he said it is a smell of sauces in the noodles , so that might be the reason. And He convinced me how come they sell a spoiled food ?I believed it and got food poisoning right after eating it was taken two weeks to settle. Never again here.

Wow wow wow! I haven’t been so amazed non a Chinese in so long!

Just eat were offering 40% off a £25 spend so decided to give somewhere new a try. Delivered on time and huge potions but quality of food not so good. Honey chilli prawns was full of sliced raw onions with no honey taste and chicken satay, again full of big onions. Prawn crackers had no taste and the spring rolls, although a good sized portion were full of oil. Delivery charge and prices of starters and sides is also very high compared to other takeaways and not worth the extra money. Would not return.

Food arrived cold, rice mushy and food had no flavour.

Saw this new dish and thought I’d give it a taste. It was absolutely delicious and I would recommend this to many people. It’s called the ‘Pad Thai Box’!! 👍👍👍😋😋😇😇

The Food and Service at Big Wok are 2nd to none. The chicken&cheese spring rolls are better than heroin and I regularly dream about them. I would eat Big Wok’s chicken&cheese spring rolls for every meal for the rest of my life if I could. The staff are very nice and I would invite them to my birthday party however it is not my birthday and I don’t think they would want to come…unless? Easily the best chinese takeaway in all the land. Read some of these bad reviews but had total opposite experience. Fast delivery and great hot food. There was one mistake made with first order but once phoned up they rectified straight away and was exellect customer service. Will definitely order again.

This is my usual go to for a Chinese takeaway but since it's changed hands the quality isn't as good, had a Special Chow Mein and as soon as I chewed on a bit of beef it tasted sour, I tried eating the rest of it but found the rest of the Chow Mein noodles were tainted by this 😢

Girls night ended up with a chinese, we took so long to find one that looked good, our food came 15mins early which was amazing, all the food was amazing, we got free chicken wings which was such a happy shock, this will be my new regular! :)

Food was late only becasue of the weather so i have no problems with it. The food was still pretty hot as well, it was great and they kept me updated on it. Good service all round.

We paid £15 for a salt and pepper platter but there was barely any food in it. There was not enough food to feed one person and especially not enough for the price of £15. We had to order more food from another Chinese because we were still hungry, we tried calling to explain the issue and there was no offer of compensation or to come collect something else. We would have had more food if we ordered a single portion of chips. Extremely disappointed in value for money and would not recommend!!!

Best Chinese I’d say. The salt and pepper chips are very different, but ten times better than most out there. All dishes are on point and deliver on time every time.

This restaurant is the worst experience I had while ordering food ! Horrible rude staff on the phone ! I’m so disappointed as ordered from them for many years at old adress and no problem , today was my second order in my new house and they mistakenly given wrong order when I called them back a member explained the situation politely the staff was very rude arguing shouting! Now I know today was my last time ordering from that place and I will make sure that people around knows how bad service they provide ! Don’t recommend!

Absolutely flavourless. I have made tastier Chinese food myself. Gutted because this used to be my favourite Chinese. The satay sauce tasted like chemicals. So disappointed

Noodles had a weird taste, chips were burnt and were recooked. Omelette came in pieces. Only came here as our usual fantastic Chinese take away are on holiday

Do not order from this place. Food was 1.5 hours to come and then the order was missing an item. When I called to ask for a refund and replacement item I was argued with by the person on the phone and told to phone the number on the website for a refund which clearly states its only for use if you CANT get hold of the restaurant. Could hear the chef and the woman on the phone yelling at each other also.

Food was bland. Not much taste and bbq sauce smelt like body odour. Wouldn't recommend
