Big Wok in Aberdeen City

chips looked like they were heated up from the day before, they were hard, the curry was so hot my husband couldn't eat it,& it was his usual meal. I had beef chow main - and vomited after 3 hours. Used many times without issue- will not use again.

Good but as always with this restaurant stuff was missing

I didn’t rate any of the dishes but it was delivered promptly.

There seems to of been a mix up with my order and someone else’s, the food in general was good however this is not what I would of ordered so a bit annoyed due to my personal preferences. This wouldn’t stop me ordering again tho.

As per below review, we also got a mix up with our food…maybe a bit too busy in the kitchen and more care should be taken to check orders thoroughly before they go out…..🤔

Brilliant food. Very tasty. Huge selection and fast delivery. The fact it is usually discounted is an added bonus. Would recommend!

Only went here because our usual takeaway is closed on Tuesdays now. Have to say the chicken in the curry is really white and soft. Pay £7 for a chicken curry to get 3 quarters of the container of chicken curry and 1/4 rice when it makes sense to have a full chicken curry and get a rice seperate so you have a full portion for your money. The bag of prawn crackers are not as big as other places give out either.

Every dish was gorgeous. my favorite was the chicken. I don't know if they'd seasoned it or if it was the dipping sauce but it was crispy and just a treat with every bite. 10/10 from ke

honestly, i would not reccommend this place whatsoever. ordered the food at 6pm, came at 8pm. the food was soggy, greasy and had absolutely no flavour it was consumed by the amount of grease. im also very confused as to what sauce went into the rice, as this is the blandest egg fried rice i have ever had the misfortune of trying. i also didnt plan on choking today, but to my surprise there was a duck bone in my duck spring rolls! lucky me! if this sounds ideal to you! this is your place!

All food good but pork dish was tough and inedible.First time had a problem and ruined dinner.Hot and Sour soup could have been spicier

Although food was delivered late we really enjoyed what we ordered especially the king prawn thai style. Good size portions and will definitely be ordering again.

This is a weird one for me. Portion sizes were generous, and generally well packaged. There was nothing really “wrong” with the food, but it was just a little bland and lacking of flavour. Eating it felt like a chore! Sadly nothing I haven’t had better elsewhere. Pity as I think with a few tweaks they could be my go to Chinese takeaway but just lacking a little.

Food would have been very good if less salt was used. Saltiest Chinese I’ve ever had. Prawn toast burnt & inedible & sauce was open so couldn’t use. Small improvements and this would be an excellent meal.

not worth it to order from anymore. ive ordered many times in the past and had no problems but last night i ordered and they got part of my order wrong. i tried resolving with their employees but after 3 hours, having their delivery driver harass me from their personal phone number and then calling the business one last time they put their delivery person on to say the same stuff over and over and call me a liar because she constany said "i have a perfect memory". i eventually resolved the issue of wrong food with justeat customer support. Its the most infuriating experience i have had in a while and i dont plan to order from here again.

Ordered on the 9th Jan, fried rice dishes were the worst dishes we have ever had, the rice was clumped together so stodgy was like it was cooked by someone that had never did fried rice ever.

The curry was very bland no taste salt & pepper chicken was very chewy

The estimated time for delivery was between 8:25pm and 8:45pm it didn’t arrive until 9.30pm

the food was all cold and late

both salt and pepper shredded boxes had far too much salt too the point they were inedible

Food was good, just oversalted i men very salty

Wasn’t happy with the inch long bone I found in my spring rolls but everything else was good especially the ribs which I’d highly recommend

Smoked shredded chicken was amazing and had lots of flavour. Chicken chow mein was the only let down as it was too gloopy. Other than that, great food.

terrible taste and the worst delivery time ever... over 40minutes late, despite booking the meal at 3 pm to be delivered at 7:30pm. I got the meal 8:42pm, very cold and terrible.

Food delivered not nice atall, ordered salt and pepper lobster balls and tasted nothing like it, tasted like dry chicken. Chicken spring rolls tasted of cheap cubes of processed meat with nothing else in them no veg nothing!! For £20.00 very disappointed

Duck in plum sauce was soggy and tasted of the oil it was fried in and not of duck. Sauce had a thick layer of oil on it. Will not be reordering from here, ever!

The Thai prawns were weird and not what we expected. The beef chow mein was definitely the worst we have had. Sadly the 40% discount makes sense now. Sorry guys! We won’t be ordering again.

Paid £16 for the Big Wok Platter food was dry and tasteless. We also had the beef Thai green curry and the special chow mien- both tasted like the oil or pan that they were cooked in was using burnt or old oil. Used to love the food here. That will be the last time we buy food from here £31 for a meal we can’t eat so cheese and crackers it is then .

Food all cooked to perfection. Good size potions and ready for collection on time. Value for money! Definitely use again! :)

my salt and pepper ribs where amazing and my crispy chicken was also amazing but my salt and Pepper chicken chicken chow main wasn't I'm afraid to say it tasted weird like something was off and really unpleasant that's didn't get eaten

Ordered a delivery as I had not had one for a wee while. Food had obviously been reheated and the smell that it left in my house was turning my stomach. All food went in the bin and I ordered from elsewhere. Will not be ordering from here again.

The food was delivered early, I phoned the take away to complain and he said well you either got it early or would’ve been late!! Very rude saying nothing he could do about it, considering it was over half an hour early the chicken box was Luke warm!

loved my order from big wok, really liked the shredded chicken box, comes with chips rice and curry sauce (although I wish there was a choice of sauces) great value as always

Only ten minutes late not a problem , food still hot . Seaweed best ever , lobster balls lacking in salt chilli flavour but OK , char Sui foo yung terrific , pad thai generous but lacking in flavour . Application of fish sauce , soy etc .be back .

I Ordered take away the food was spoiled smell, I asked my husband to check the food is spoiled or not ! he said it is a smell of sauces in the noodles , so that might be the reason. And He convinced me how come they sell a spoiled food ?I believed it and got food poisoning right after eating it was taken two weeks to settle. Never again here.

Wow wow wow! I haven’t been so amazed non a Chinese in so long!

Just eat were offering 40% off a £25 spend so decided to give somewhere new a try. Delivered on time and huge potions but quality of food not so good. Honey chilli prawns was full of sliced raw onions with no honey taste and chicken satay, again full of big onions. Prawn crackers had no taste and the spring rolls, although a good sized portion were full of oil. Delivery charge and prices of starters and sides is also very high compared to other takeaways and not worth the extra money. Would not return.

Food arrived cold, rice mushy and food had no flavour.

Saw this new dish and thought I’d give it a taste. It was absolutely delicious and I would recommend this to many people. It’s called the ‘Pad Thai Box’!! 👍👍👍😋😋😇😇
