Looks like they have been taken over, large haddock looked tiny definitely not worth the money, use Rosehill it's a lot better price/portion

Ordered food just before 6pm, said 45mins delivery, phoned three times to ask where it was, each time told it was on its way. By 7.30pm we phoned asking for a refund, which they “can’t do”. The guy then turned up at 8pm, we turned him away and are still waiting on the refund. Joke of a place!

Missing items. Called & was told they’d come now. Over an hour and 15 minutes later & I requested a refund as they hadn’t arrived. Family had ate & gone to bed. Told to call back tomorrow for refund. They said ‘we are just really busy’ but still willingly accepting orders. Even accused the delivery driver of eating missing item previously. Shocking.

I have reviewed them before and have noticed a big improvement in their batter and their chips. There are so many choices for food, from Indian, to Italian, to chippy, which caters for most people's tastes. I tried the 7 inch munchy box this time and really enjoyed the variety of food in it.

Spicy Haggis and chips was quality. All freshly cooked by a polite lassie, who I'm sure is deserving of a pay rise for her customer service. 👍👍

Cold food, missing items and terrible attitude when phoned.

Unfortunately ordered a cheese battered pizza and pepperoni but ended up with two cheeses. They have a deal now with the cheese being £2.50 which I think is worth the price for a quick supper.

Order arrived 1hr and 30 minutes after ordering. I telephoned them after 65minutes to see where my order was as it was due for delivery within 45 minutes. I couldn't understand what the gentleman on the other end of the phone was saying but I'm pretty sure they knew it hadn't been delivered and was hoping I would just let it go. It arrived at 6.45pm after being ordered at 5.15pm no apology from the delivery driver or anything and no mention of a discount for the very poor customer service. Don't think I'll be back

Ordered food from here it was great, the pizzas were good, perfect amount of topping, chips weren’t greasy or tasting of oil, good chips. The delivery was good, no long waits. Would definitely recommend and order from here again!!

Whenever we come from Glasgow to Aberdeen we always get our food from here ..best fish & chips and the pizzas are awesome too. Highly recommended.

Me and my daughter ordered a chicken doner kebab and a popped chicken with chips two days ago. Never in my life I’ve been more sick than in the past two days. Absolutely disguisting, the quality of the food is just atrocious. Thank you byron fast food for giving me and my 3year old a food poisoning.

Ordered food for Mother’s Day treat, it took 2 hours 40 minutes for a pizza, chicken dippers and a burger, when I called to chase up the order I was lied to and told food was on its way. When it finally arrived it was cold and inedible. I emailed to complain and was told someone would get back to me but they have not. Save your Money and go elsewhere!

Asked for a smoked sausage supper and the sausage was tiny. They put salt and vinegar on my meal without asking me and gave me the wrong drink. The chips were undercooked and overall just tasted not good. My friend had a battered sausage kids meal and her "battered sausage" was slimy with the grease. Overall not happy, would not recommend, and will not be back.

Never have had an issue with our food that's been ordered. We use Byron Fast food quite regularly. Our Food always arrives on time and hot considering we're in the Bridge of Don area.

STAY AWAY!! This place is horrid, The food is disgusting. Always undercooked and soggy, also checking the food containers in the shop to see if it has went out of date is concerning. The owner Zac is also a bully he thinks it is okay to visit customers after they have given his shop a bad review and ask them to remove it. won’t be coming to see me you’ll be sent away and it won’t be the way you first come either!

There Fish is my fav, The men like the Munchy boxes.

Placed on online order twice and both times I received the incorrect items. First order, I asked for a mixed kebab and got a pizza. Second time I ordered a portion of chips and received curry sauce! Not changing third times a charm!

Batter could be crisper but other than that the food is great. The selection is brilliant and I plan to try something other than the usual chip supper Staff are smiley and happy which is a bonus

Mediocre, nothing like it used to be unfortunately. The fact that their spicy chicken is microwaved in front of you is shocking. They always look in the container to determine if its went off, probably has a few times as my toilet tells me so.

Always had a great experience from them and take feedback seriously which ends up making their menu better

The online ordering of food inparticular, when I selected a calzone pizza I HAD too add turkey rashers or it wouldn't go in the checkout basket. 1 pound for turkey rashers in a calzone. Simply not given a choice there. A bit meat shy in the calzone aswell.

Black pudding supper and king rib supper purchased. Unedable chips were soggy obviously been lying for some time . Small portions even sauce couldn't improve the taste would give them zero . My friend ate his black pudding I didn't eat any of mine one taste and spat it out. Never again. Reply if that is your response too customers reviews no wonder the only people responding give positive reviews Barr one who mentions how rude you are . With regards too my king rib supper as pictured I had one chip . So yes that was the portion size . With reference too other reviews I have given you are clearly trying too throw people of the scent that my order was disgusting. Let's leave others too make up there own minds . I don't see pinehurst Lodge complaining about the reviews I gave them . Take it on the chin your food on this occasion was disgusting.

Best chipper in aberdeen. Chips are fresh and the spicy haggis is Devine. It’s great to have u back as no chipper could compare when u burnt down.

Nice enough kabab forgot a portion of chips called to queries and guy was rude on phone! Queried bill, found out they charged 80p to have your sauce separate and £1.65 for your salad separate (which it’s stated its included in your order) so I’ve just paid £2.85 for a box and a small pot. I’ve never heard of a kabab / take away doing this (you should state it’s a charge if you’re grippy with a pot / box) can’t see us going back soon!

just reopened and are terrible i ordered chips cheese and curry sauce and they gave me chips and gravy even when ordering on there website they don’t know how to take orders 🤬🤬

Absolutely shocking. I ordered on Monday at 21.50. I checked when it was closed and the information I saw was 22.30. I got informed at just before 22.30 my order was cancelled due to it being closed. I checked times again and noticed it said pick up 22.30 and delivery 22.00 but still my order was accepted and money deducted from my account. I tried again tonight at approximately 19.30 only to get informed my order was again cancelled to it being busy and again my order was accepted and payed for. NEVER again

No real surprise this plaice went on fire, going by the reviews on here standards have clearly dropped. I wonder if the insurance paid out?

Ordered a pizza and chips but it was over two hours after I ordered when they got here, I understand that with the virus it is busy but it's still a bit annoying especially after I was told it would be 45 minutes. The food itself wasn't the best either, the pizza was cold and tasteless and the chips were under cooked. I have had good experiences with the chippy but this was subpar. I assume the mistakes are just due to the pandemic so I likely won't be order again until its over.

Got told it would be delivered at 5pm. Delivered eventually at 6.15 and forgot the drink with my order. Chips seem undercooked. The batter on the jumbo sausage wasn’t crispy. Only good thing is the macaroni pie

The fish is cooked in a very thick batter, not nice. If an order comes in you are left waiting and no one seams to care, i saw my order getting pushed to a phone order, I then asked about my order and was told it's on it's way. I waited 20 mins after just to see what happens, then produced my receipt and asked when my order will be ready, 30 mins after first request. my order will get started now was the reply. I was beyond myself by now , so I asked for a refund, I was treated like a criminal for asking, I produced my receipt and was told my order was in the fryer. I told them my order was already out on a phone order and I want my money back. This was not received lightly. I had to produce all my evidence. Eventually I got my money back. Still hungry but not angry!!!!! Also their so called kebab spicy sauce is tomato sauce with a slight spice thrown in. Pretty pish throughout. regards Kenny Sangster

Best tasting Indian food in Aberdeen. Reasonable prices and very friendly staff. Love this place and it is going to be my favourite Indian takeaway from now on. Highly recommend.

My two young kids were so excited to finally get a chippy as a treat only to be sat 2hrs later still waiting for it, crying because they were so hungry and tired as it was well past bedtime. Spoke to live chat for the chippy to tell the it was out for delivery but it still hadn't shown and it takes 5 minutes to drive to mine so I called only to get some rude guy telling me I just have to wait If I had got the kids dressed I could have hobbled up there and back long ago. Absolutely shocking customer service. I will definitely not be using them again!

Chips still frozen inside waited about 15 minutes after our collection time and the girl behind the counter rubbed bonjela in her mouth and didn't wash her hands before serving food

Me and my partner ordered a chicken tikka masala starter, order came and the containers had ripped through the bag due to the grease, only to end up with salad and chicken in no sauce, 4 Pieces! No mention of salad being in the order and no option for rice or salad, 2 of those for £13! And when we reported it only to be told to wait so they send someone down to check it, so I sent a photo of the order and the mess it had made to the shop and got told it was perfectly fine, bearing in mind I’ve had this exact order before and it’s never came like this. and had a load of cheek given to me from Glaswegian “owner” saying I was being “unappreciative and they work hard” all because I had sent them the photo PERSONALLY on Facebook, after them saying I posted it. So in conclusion, rude staff, rude manager, no online choice or personalisation or even a discription of online orders!! And beware of unsatisfied orders because you will be given rude remarks and told not to come back.

Used before with no problems at all, enjoyed. I did look at the reviews tonight where a lot of reviews were greasy and cold. Well that’s what happened. Ran out of kitchen roll trying to dry up fish and mock chop. Chips uncooked and dripping with grease. After we had put them in the oven, fish was so dry. Wish I’d stuck with the main reviews

Had from here last night. Bogin! My guts are in bits today. When i was in the lady behind fryer had one finger in her ear giving it a good scratch/clean whilst frying food. Then got home chips were solid. Our clothes were stinking of the grease. And chipsteak had no batter left with being stuck to paper.

Ordered from just eat set meal for 1 £13.95 and as per something was missing from order.Phoned shop and spoke to one of the staff.Who claimed the order comes with rice or Naan not both,Ive ordered this loads of times and always comes with both.Website also said the same,guy just argued saying no one or other and said he will change the website .Not good customer service at all.

Batter on fish burned almost black and fish was hard and dry. Most of it went in the bin! Smallest portion of chips with the fish iv ever seen. About fifteen chips in total. Won't be going back.

Took a minute to deliver however food was of good standard.

chips where cold tasted old and reheated, poor quality for food took over 1 hour to come and was cold. portion was also tiny.

Used to be a good chipper but gone down hill my last order was wrong ordered tonight macaroni pie was burnt and disgusting fish batter was hard and crispy they looked like last nights leftovers reheated won't be going back

Put my order in by their own web page. Arrived & had to give the delivery guy more money. I double checked my order & it came to £14.30. The white pudding was soggy, swimming in fat. Chips were warm & could’ve been cooked a bit longer. Not impressed with this order. This used to be the best chipper. Checked my order again & it turns out that when you place an order on their own website you get 20% off. Well we didn’t get it hence why the driver had to ask for more money. Have this place changed hands or something?

Waited two hours when it arrived it was warmish but cause I was hungry I ate it. Naan bread hard couldn't eat that, chips was soggy and cold I ate doner wasn't enjoyable. Won't be ordering from hear again paid £10.95 never again

Can be a bit hit or miss unfortunately but a good range of food from Indian and kebab to pizzas and chippy for ok prices

I went to Byron for quickness I only ordered a peshwari nann bread when I got home with it to find a dried out bread with only tomato sauce on it so I went back with it thinking it was a mistake only to be told rudely it was a new chef new recipe so they can't do nothing about it . I payed £3.50 and it was not worth it if an Indian chef doesn't know how to make a peshwari nann bread then they are in the wrong job I would not recommend this Indian chipper and won't be back there again.

Terrible!! Mince pie supper....cold,chips not cooked right through, chicken korma.....sauce (hardly any)was very greasy, pineapples tasted fizzy,naan bread very greasy and the poppadoms were obviously old cause they was rubbery!!!!! Very poor
