Worst experience I've had in a long time. Cold, tasteless macaroni cheese (still looking for the cheese), served with cold chips, flung onto a paper plate. Person serving couldn't get you moved on quick enough. Only decent thing was the pot of tea. Would not recommend this place...would rather go to Greggs!

Came here for the first time on the 7/10/24, staff on that day were super nice and the quesadilla was amazing which would have meant a 5 star review. However I came back a week later and the woman taking orders looked like she couldn't be bothered and was trying to take my order when my partner hadn't even finished ordering his. The quesadilla I was served was a smaller portion than last week and was a little burnt. And there was what appeared to be a member of staff sat in the seating area getting her hair done. Which is unprofessional and unhygienic

Getting to be on the expensive side, but fast food, with very efficient staff.

Fish & Chips was delicious, but cream tea was very strange as it was already prepared and the scone was topped like a sandwich with whipped cream and very little jam. I then had to buy more jam because otherwise it would have been too dry.

I recommend the pepperoni cheese pizza with chips. The pizza is made with proper Italian sauce, cooked perfectly every time, same with the chips, food is always hot, never cold or warm. Friendly and fast customer service. Highly recommend to anyone visiting aberdeen. Definitely going back for the third time.

Met my teenager daughter for lunch. She was served pizza and chips and every one of the chips was inedible (either bad or burnt)! Took them back to the counter and the server just said “sorry about that” and threw them in the bin!! No refund offered “we don’t do that”. Last visit here

Had the Scottish High Tea (haddock, chips & peas, bread & butter, pot of tea & cake). Great value & very filling. Available from 11:30am. Lots of seating options in a large, bright space. Baby food heating area provided. Centre Toilets nearby.

Although this place is billed as an Italian, it does a very good breakfast which is very well priced,tasty and has a good choice of options.My only gripe is that you don't get proper plates,especially if you're sitting in.Anyway,that said.Our breakfast was lovely,service great.The seating is comfy and spacious.Worth a wee visit.The pizza,pasta isn't too shabby either.

Food and service were great however witnessed an employee spill some water and get shouted at because of it by an older lady working here. The girl was obviously feeling bad about it and the older woman continued to make snide remarks within earshot of her, the spillage was obviously a mistake and there was no need to embarrass her like that. As someone clearly in a position of authority it is rude to speak to anyone, let alone your employee like that and if I was spoken to this way I would have walked out.

went for lunch today and the service/food was amazing as always however me and a friend witnessed an older lady working shouting at another employee for spilling some water, obviously this was an accident and she felt bad about it, however the older lady kept making rude comments within earshot of the visibly upset employee. The older lady was wearing her hair up with a red scrunchie, and a greyish blouse, black boots and glasses. No one deserves to be spoken to like that especially when it was an accident and the employee was trying her best.

Pizza felt like it had been left out for a while, very chewy. Pasta had a rubbery like texture like it had been overcooked.

Quick and easy snacks, pasta and garlic bread, lasagna ,good simple food affordable.

This place is a two star 🌟 🌟 restaurant, the food is done average, given on paper plates, that is not good, shows its cheap running, not sure why they don't give you real plates, the plates are to small, and after you eat your food, the plate is left with lots of grease from the mushrooms. The white toast was okay but they don't tell you it's already buttered, i hate butter, that is not good, they should allow people to put their own butter on if they want to. Overall, my experience was i won't be back.

This is a good stop for pizza or pasta while you are shopping. It is upstairs in the center so you don't need to go out in the cold for your food.

Kicked me and my friend out and took are food that we had payed for already we ordered pizza after 5 mins they kicked us out for nothing then said we were banned from going back ever again then they told me to pay again

Paper Plates and cups were not eco friendly think about the trees man and chips are pretty mushy and squishy bake potato dry like the Sahara dessert but overall if your looking for a school dinner here’s the place

Ordered a Jacket potato with two toppings, tuna and cheese. The cheese portion was so tiny I had to order an extra portion which cost me a pound. The extra portion was a good amount and I asked why they didn't just give me that amount of cheese the first time. They said the portion size was the same and walked away. Lied straight to my face and were rude.

Disgusting place to eat. Had to wait20 minutes for a burger that was burnt the roll was also over toasted. Dry very dry. Would have been better eating sand.

I frequented Di Maggio's during my time at uni in Aberdeen and 10 years later I can't help but go back whenever I'm in the city! It's basic, casual, quick, very cheap and serves the kind of simple fayre that everyone loves. The pizza and pasta are always good, they also do burgers, fish and chips and sandwiches etc, there's nice traybakes and cakes and so on. Every now and again I'll get a pizza that's been left out too long or it'll be ridiculously busy and the staff will be bellowing at customers but even when that happens, I go back next time and enjoy it!

Terrible experience . Staff noisey behind the counter .My husband is dairy intolerant asked what was available for him to eat .The assistant handed him the ingredients list for all the food in the cafe and told to look for himself .Turns out he could only eat an egg or black pudding. There were no dairy alternatives like soya or oat milk for coffee . I had a scone which was so dry I couldn't eat it. A pot of tea that was so weak it was terrible . We will not be returning .

Went in for brunch today, we ordered macaroni, creamy tomato pasta and fruit scone with jam and cream. Pasta taste ok, like really average that you can cook/ buy from any grocery store like those ready meal. Fruit scone tasted real bad 👎, it's dry and only a fewer fruits. The cream was soggy and taste weird. The worst cream I have ever had. Will go back for the Pasta but definitely not the fruit scone.

I order from here often. I've only ever had chilli and chips but it is very tasty. 9/10 from me. Highly recommend 👍

It was decreed by my wife that we would be going to Aberdeen for a spot of shopping. As her driver and gentleman lover I obviously obliged. She insisted that we have a spot of breakfast here. We queued up, got a very plentiful portion of Fried Breakfast, a pot of tea and then ate it. Oh my gosh, it was tremendous. I usually have a spot of breakfast in McDonald's, but the next time the House Commander informs me that we are going to Aberdeen for a shopping trip, we will be starting the day here.

Very disappointed. The breakfast was not good. The bacon was extremely dry and it appeared to have been made for quite a while. The toast which came pre-buttered was not nice, there was hardly any butter on it. To be served breakfast on a paper plate was the last straw. The coffee was okay, the staff okay, the cafe was clean enough. I asked for a receipt because I questioned how expensive it was. This was to enable me to compare the price we paid and what was shown on the board. Unfortunately I received a receipt which was totally illegible. We have visited this establishment many times in the past, but unfortunately this will be the last.

Great place for a quick Italian type meal. Immense portions and extraordinary cheap. Lots of choice...macaroni, pizza, the usual. Teas and coffee. Also some nice cakes for after or just a cuppa. One gripe...food could have been hotter. I recommend this place as its soooo cheap! Addendum: food (lasagne) needed to be hotter. Otherwise good value and outstanding staff.

Shocking place, terrible service. Do not accidentally leave anything behind as the restaurant will give it away and blame your child for leaving their toy in the first place and then do nothing about it. Never came across such horrible service. AVOID

Breakfast regular. Excellent reasonably priced choose your own cooked breakfast, surprisingly few places open early in town and this is a good one.

How do you make a bacon and cheese burger taste like fish? I have no idea, but my guess is this place is using the same grill for burgers and fish. It's not considerate of those with allergies, and actually illegal in most countries for this reason.

What a lovely restaurant situated upstairs in the Bon Accord centre, really nice atmosphere with very helpful and friendly staff. 100% recommended if you are feeling hangry 😉, great selection of food on offer.

There is nothing Italian about this cafe. They don't even have a proper espresso machine. It was clean and fast though. I won't be back.

Lovely friendly team. I have frequented here a few times over the past month or so. Food is tasty & excellent value for money - perfect for a quick bite to eat either if you're on your own or with others. Tables are always being cleaned & trays removed promptly so never any issues finding somewhere to sit (plenty of seating). Special mention & many thanks to Kate, Monika & Ilona who are the ones that have served me on my visits. Smiling and helpful on every occasion. Highly recommend for the excellent service, price & cleanliness.

Tiny portion sizes for the price. The server gave me one serving spoon of pasta and one spoon of chips for £5.95. So hungry after it I had to go to another place next door. Considering you can get freshly made big portions of carbonara for £10 in genuine Italian restaurants nearby, it should be 0 stars.

Excellent food and excellent service

I rarely feel the need to leave a review but for what we paid for a meal for 3, this was of a very poor standard. To be fair, the portions were big so there was a lot of food but it was all just really poor quality. My husband and daughter had burger and chips. The chips were dry and overcooked, seems like they had been sitting out for a while or reheated. The burger was okay but again a bit dry. I had tuna mayo with a baked potato which was fine but sent out 10 minutes before the other food was ready so not great. Would not recommend, even for the quick lunch we went for, go elsewhere and get better food for the same price.

Have eaten in Di Maggios, Glasgow in many of their venues and not been disappointed but the Aberdeen Bon Accord pizza was awful. I had half a pizza and it was not good value for money. The pizza was like cardboard completely dried out. Will not be returning.

I have been order this pasta for my little boy and finde out that is not even half o this container and I paid £5.25 how is this OK people to pay this value for something that is not even worth £1 I would never order again from this place or even go there anymore be aware people

Never ever in my life I was so embarrassed and humiliated like I did at this restaurant in Aberdeen. My husband went to get food from a next door restaurant and I was going to get food from Di Maggios. My child 10 month old screaming for food and obviously this was the only place that had a microwave to warm up baby food in the whole shopping centre. As soon as we sat I was feeding my child and my husband eating his food… I didn’t have a chance to order my food, when the waitress invited us to leave because we had food from a different place, but I was going to consume and order from there. Spoke to the manager and she was as rude and unsupportive as the waitress that invited us to leave. Everyone was looking at us and I literally left with tears in my eyes just because I didn’t read a policy with a screaming baby. Never going back there again!!

Fast fry up. Was ok for the price but nothing to celebrate about. Worth a stop if you want a fast fry up without the faff. Staff were very nice.

If I could give it zero stars I would. I have a medical assistance dog that accompanies me everywhere. In the past we have visited and its been ok. On this occasion a female staff member ridiculed me and asked me what disability I have. She told me that I'm not blind so to leave and take THAT dog with me. I wear my licence around my neck. She didn't care. After all only blind people need assistance dogs.....laws were broken by an aggressive bully.

Visited at 11am to find mediocre quality "Scottish" breakfast food served on disposable plates. Expected better from an Italian establishment but I suspect dire circumstances in Aberdeen have driven Di Maggios to adapt to a city in decline rather than hold up the standard I enjoyed from them years ago.

Always the best 👌food we can have.
