Full vegan, Gluten free menu and dairy free cakes, what not to like?
As someone who isn’t vegan but dairy and egg intolerant, this is such a great wee cafe that I wish I’d found sooner. I really do hope the community continue to support this local business.
Ordered a roll tatiscone and blackpudding. The menu said if you get 2 black puddings on a roll same is expected with the tatiscones. I got a snider of a roll way a 1 potato scone and 1 blackpudding 4.90 for that n a can a juice wit a joke.

We visited this cafe due to being fans of Still Game . The staff were amazing really friendly and helpful , the customers also really friendly . The food was amazing , can’t speak highly enough of this cafe . Highly Recommend.
First time eating at this restaurant. The starters were good. The curry’s were delicious. My curry was spicy and thick with flavour. The pints were crisp. Good value for money overall. Will be back for sure.
Food is rotten, rice was stodgy as if its over cooked, curry sauce was from homemade pkt, salt pepper chips and chicken ball were a disgrace season just sprinled on top if the

Ordered pizza online. I picked it up at the suggested time only to be told that my side order of chips wasn't ready. Waited 5 minutes and then when the chips were ready they produced the pizzas from a delivery bag. I drove home (3 mins drive) and both pizzas were freezing. Overpriced and not not enjoyable at a cold temperature

Pie beans and chips were good. Chips are excellent. I think pie and beans were microwaved. Pie had no crunch at all on edge. Still tasted very good though.
Macaroni cheese was on par with other places. Good size portion.
Will 100% shop here again.

I don't know why I haven't used this shop before...I stay just round the corner!!..Anyway I couldn't be bothered cooking anything myself today so fancied a scone/fried egg doubler and a bridie and I'm glad i did....they were delicious...I will definitely be back there soon...
We were a large family group from london staying in a house in Scotland over winter holidays.
L’chaim prepared us shabbos food and more for our stay. the food was superb, easily as good or better than the heimish london take aways/delis. Portions are very generous and Rabbi and Rebetzen Jacobs were so helpful in making sure everything was perfect.
they really made our holiday. i would highly recommend, they may have an old looking website, but don’t judge the quality of food and service on that!
i can’t recommend highly enough.
thank you and L’ Chaim!
