The best restaurants in Scotland

I emailed the restaurant last week to book a valentines diner, I got a prompt response & table booked 7.30pm. We were welcomed by a lovely lady and shown to our table. There was a set menu but also the al a carte & todays specials. I loved that we had that choice. We ordered wine & then our food. The staff were very attentive on hand to top up our glssses & clear our plates when finished. The food was really good & the wine was also really nice. My hubby had a sweet & coffee & I had tea to finish our lovely evening. As we were leaving the owners took time to chat to us, what a lovely family who care about their customers and their business, highly recommend this lovely restaurant. We will definitely be back soon x

If you enjoy a nice well laid out rural pub, this one will take some beating, especially if you like real ale.

Visited this little gem in Goose Green, bacon butties, teas and coffee with a great atmosphere and welcoming smile from the owner. Thank you for a great visit.

We've been to groats before when it was a pop-up, we were over the moon when it found a permanent home, then not so happy when they announced they were moving. On that note, we had to go back and try it again! Famous for it's porridge, we went for one porridge and one French toast. Two refillable coffees to wash it down. The French toast was perfect, thick sliced and perfectly cooked. When you do something so good, keep doing it - this is groats all over. Will be looking out for when they next find a home.

Esta es una adición bienvenida a los lugares de comida en Rose Street. El propietario italiano es amable y hablador. La envoltura era sabroso con algunos picante salami. Fue genial estar servido el almuerzo de un antiguo fuerte de la policía!

Great takeaway that does deliveries, food was always piping hot and prepared quickly, very central location.

Viajamos desde livingston a inverness para unas vacaciones cortas. Íbamos por rosmarkie y encontré kenzies chippy en avoch. Abadejo cenas estaban muy bien hechas. Volveré a visitar que chippy en mi próxima visita de nuevo. Located Jaspal

Me visita picar regularmente, demasiado buena comida, pero podría mencionar recomiendo el rollo de haggis, pollo tikka sub o panini y las patatas horneadas son para morirse! Además, el personal es super, lo que siempre ayuda 😊

Never been disappointed when I visit the Bakehouse. Service is always friendly, quick and the quality of food excellent. Would recommend the homemade soup

Pub molto caratteristico a Dundee. Lo consiglio per gli hamburger davvero ottimi! Vicino al centro e all’’Università di Dundee. Prezzi nella norma.

Cracking coffee and pastries and very friendly staff. Stayed here for a coffee and a bite. Lovely shop full of goodies and very reasonably priced.
