I was driving through unfamiliar territory at lunchtime and happened across the White Chimneys Cafe. I went in to buy a sandwich and ended up sitting in the tearoom. Wonderful freshly made lunch with great service.

What can we say? For a start the staff were excellent in that they were bright cheerful and helpful! The menu is extensive and the food was fresh and full of flavour. It was well presented and arrived quickly but at a pace that was not pressurised. The portions were very generous and the salad in particular was delicious....as was the soup. Food was prepared in the open plan kitchen which was spotlessly clean. There was an extensive selection of cakes to choose from but we too full by that point. The bill for our meal was very little considering the quality,freshness and quantity of the food. A faultless experience and one we intend to repeat in the near future!

Excellent service and good! Christine was extremely helpful and efficient. We had several breakfast and lunch sandwiches. Will definitely return!

11 / 2 / 25 Parecen saber sus nombres habituales cuando entran y los saludan de esa manera. Tuve su desayuno completo a un precio razonable y me burlé del lote. Apenas podía creer que mi huevo 🥚 no estaba escalfado sino frito porque no estaba todo frito y mi plato estaba caliente 👍 y la tostada estaba bien tostada con un sabor muy agradable a carbón vegetal + 2 mantequillas.

Excellent cheeseburgers. Great service and the girls were very friendly. We also ordered a steak pie for new years day and I can say it's the best steak pie we've ever had. Will eefinately be back its a lovely place.

My Husband and I were at the Tina/Cher Tribute last night at the Drumlithie Inn. This is such a lovely, cosy place. Our meal was lovely, I had the fish and chips and my Husband had the Steak Pie (lots of steak) we both really enjoyed our meal. My Husband then managed to squeeze in an Eve’s Pudding and custard which I tasted and it was delicious! The Tribute was very good and the “Happy Atmosphere” was amazing! Everyone was so friendly, it was like one Big Happy Party! 🥳 Would definitely recommend a visit David and Ian are always so Friendly and Happy to Help at all times, nothing is a bother to them. Well done guys!! Keep up the great job you are doing. 👍👏

Mary Queen of Scots Exhibition - absolutely fabulous. Extremely well put together and displayed. The Harrison family are lovely. Would highly recommend a visit. Whilst we did not eat at the cafe it all looked really good and was busy with both locals and tourists. A must....

Really lovely food: one of us had the curry of the day, the other a mac cheese. Very tasty and promptly served. Excellent value too. Staff very courteous and attentive, couldn't fault a thing.

just been to try the new chefs cuisine. I had the steak pie and my friend had the chicken stroganoff and it was so good Fantastic value for money and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. go try it you will not be disappointed

Be very careful of food being sold best before same date of purchase. I bought £9 of product at full price without realising they are best before same day of purchase. When sharing disappointment to m&S staff the next day, they confirmed that I should have checked the dates. Shame.

Pierre is a talented chef and prepares beautiful food using local ingredients to a fixed daily menu.

Been for a visit the last 2 consecutive weeks.Wasnt impressed by any of the flavours.On my last visit I said to the staff regarding the lack of flavour.I have seen through customer complaints that the Manager has said it’s the lack of tastebuds in my option the customers are right.But when I voiced my opinion regarding its flavourless taste.I was at old buy another one. Told abruptly whilst I was being discerning by going to the side of the counter rather than make a scene,told in the area where masks can be taken off to put my mask on.Excuse me don’t tell granny how to suck eggs.I have had lung cancer and don’t need to wear a mask but I do only slid it to the side and was at a 2 mitre distance appealing way to talk to customers.And on looking at customers reviews have found to be some really awful responses.Clear and simple you might be busy now as it’s a craze,but will you be there in a years time.A bit of advice listen to your customer.How does it go the customers always right.Well mmm.but you need to listen flavour flavour that’s what your selling.
