This was our first time here but definitely not our last. Excellent, fresh and delicious food: Phô broth with REAL character and depth, Rice Paper Rolls with the perfect texture and filling ratios, very generous Satay Chicken portions and a delightful drink selection. It’s not cheap, I would say more on the mid-scale price wise but worth every single penny!!! We were here as a family of 3, and even our 6 year old who doesn’t eat meat, was able to order and enjoy plenty of food. They have an accessible bathroom and great maneuverability space for anyone with additional mobility requirements. No change table in the bathroom, but it was so clean, I’m sure a change mat on the floor would do just fine. The service was fast, warm and genuine. We can’t wait to make this a regular place!

Went here a year ago and really enjoyed the food and service, so decided to call again with a family member...what a mistake!! When we entered the premises, the man behind the counter watched us come in. I stood by the counter for a few minutes, to try and get a menu, while the rest of the family went to sit at a table. After, what seemed an age, I got bored of waiting so I went and sat down myself; all the time being watched by the man in the kitchen. Other people around us were being served, included those who arrived after us (notably, they were speaking to him in Portuguese). After around 10-15 minutes the man in the kitchen, who I can only assume was the owner, came over to our table. We asked for a menu, only to be spoken back to in Portuguese. As I can't speak Portuguese I hadn't a clue what he said so I asked again, for a menu. The response we received was a blunt "No menu", and he then turned around and walked back in to the kitchen, leaving us sitting, and everyone one else in the restaurant looking at us. After another couple of minutes, with no other sign of receiving any form of service we left. How were we supposed to know what food was available and what it would cost without a menu? There wasn't even a list on the wall. I definitely will not be back , as I refuse to give my money to anyone who treats customers like they are something to be scraped of the sole of their shoe. Hopefully his family don't experience this kind of treatment in they ever go to a local establishment...bet there would be a whole outcry if they did. If only there was the facility for zero stars!!

So didn’t have a booking but turned up at 8.30pm. Was told it would be mains only, which was fine as we were in a hurry and starving. The restaurant was pretty empty and also very cold . Felt as though the heating was broken. Food came out particularly quickly which was the first red flag. Rice and sauce luke warm at best, but the most disappointing thing was the very tough hard blocks of chicken. Was with a new colleague so didn’t want to create a fuss at the time but half way through we both acknowledged that the dishes were not to standard . The server had not returned to check on us after leaving the plates so neither of us could complain at the time . We ate most of it cause we were on the go all day without anything to eat . The server then returned to ask if everything was ok, we raised our concerns by way of giving some constructive feedback and off he went to fetch the owner. We didn’t wait and proceed to the till to pay, I paid £57.35 for 2 mains 2 rice 2 naan and 2 drinks. I never questioned paying because I ate most of it. However, the most shocking treatment then occurred with the owner. We told him about our experience of luke warm food and tough chicken and he basically told us you should have complained at the time. Now considering I had already paid my bill, I wasn’t looking a refund. I then got told about how he was in business 30 years and had multiple restaurants and that everything they cook is fresh. I’m sorry our dishes were not fresh tonight. As someone who eats out regularly I very rarely need to complain but this place totally let themselves down this evening and I will certainly not be back .

Six off us plus an infant dropped in here for lunch on Monday. the place was almost empty which suited us as there was plenty of choice as to where to sit and no trouble finding a space. We ordered at the counter although there are machines for ordering. Ordering was simple, the menu is clear and the service good. the food and drinks arrived quickly, all as ordered. The food is what you would expect from a takeaway and so suited us under the circumstances. £41 all in for food and drinks. Good value. We will definitely be back.
