The best restaurants in Observatory Armagh Southern NI

It’s on a steep hill, it’s on a corner, with very little car - parking close by. It’s narrow inside with table space limited to only a few diners and it’s a shared space with a bicycle sales and repair shop. The servers are ace friendly and it delivers up tasty well - filled savoury crepes at very good value. There’s lots of other offerings too, mostly sweet based, ice creams, lots of jars of sweets, milkshakes, sweet crepes, waffles, omelettes and so on. Not much to add. It’s a great spot offering just what we like at fair prices. Two huge savoury crepes with 3 fillings, no skimping, and two large cappuccinos £17.5. We even got a few free sweets from a Roses tin with our coffees. Worth supporting and delightfully enjoyable.

Excellent service and the food is great. I was intrigued by the Chicken Caesar pizza as i love the salad and it was delicious so give it a go if you want to try something different. The best pizzas bases are light, crispy and chewy. Dante's tick all the boxes and are very moreish. My husband tells me his burger was great with perfect chips. He ate the lot before I could try it, but my daughter said the BBQ sauce was the best ever. The kids scoffed their pizzas but we were too full to try dessert of sweet pizza. Unfortunately we are rarely in Armagh, but if we are, we'll definitely be back. Lucky you that can visit more often!

Needless to say I will not be back to dolphin, I ordered a chicken burger with cheese, bacon and sauce, the bill was rather pricey considering I only ordered a burger, it wasn’t until I got home when I realised I was charged for A) the bacon 80p B) an “extra” cheese slice 30p even though there is only one slice on the burger and C) charged for a 2 oz sauce dip on my burger, more like a small dollop on the burger. 85 PENCE! I have been going to dolphin for as long as I can remember and never felt so cheated! I will not return.

We had breakfast here ,there were 6 of us ,absolutely beautiful food ,fantastic service from the staff, 10/10 ,for everything, we will definitely be back again, thks so much

This spot is amazing for a friendly gathering to enjoy some delicious, affordable but expensive tasting gelato. If I could rate it 6 stars I definitely would!

Burger was missing Bacon and cheese

Really angry over an hour for a delivery. Guy tried to argue saying he'd been to the door when I was downstairs the whole time. The food however is beautiful.

Ordered nearly £37 of food through drive thru and when I got home half of the order was missing, rip off The response from KFC is trite. Every time we visit the drive thru of this branch some part of the order is missing. Is that the tactic of this branch to charge customers full price and then consistently not supply items ordered to increase profitability? I have left my contact details for the Store Manager to explain to me directly why orders are consistently ‘short’ with no receipts as proof of purchase supplied, are the lack in of receipts designed to ensure customers cannot establish what was actually ordered when complaining? Does the store think local customers cannot spot ‘tactics’?
