Oh, to be honest, best kebab in the whole armagh ! Shapla special kebab slaps!

Just had a really good take away from Shapla, Had Korma and Tika Masala and such a nice young man in the shop, had a lovely chat. Thank you, service, food, everything top class.

Horrible place , horrible people , full of attitude and arrogance in service. They lied to us that the restaurant will be open and when we came in 20 mins, its closed. And upon asking, the person at the counter was too arrogant and sent us back. Would never reccommend anyone going to these people ever !

You will not find a better Dansak in the entirety of Northern Ireland. This place is unbeatable. The curries are the most flavoursome, delicious fresh curries you'll ever try. I take my dansak with a vindaloo heat and it's out of this world, with garlic naan and mushroom rice.... portion sizes are generous, plus you can BYOB for free despite them selling their own beer and wine. Top notch place, I literally can't go anywhere else for a curry. They've ruined me!

Great food and service. Helped us decide which dish best for us and very attentive. Price very reasonable and peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Definitely recommend.

It was 7 years since we last ate at shapla due to moving house so was longer to travel to. Im happy to say it was as we remembered it, great service, tasty and well presented food. Our waiter Ruman is a gentleman and very friendly and remembered us from the last time we were here. We will be returning again very soon :)

Chicken pakora very bland one of the worst I've tasted, chilli sauce very watery and not very nice, tandoori chicken 2 thighs bone in. Garlic Naan was small hardly any garlic and no coriander. Charged extra for salad and sauce separate which is fine but didn't have the decency to call and inform us and so stood on the street while we tried to find £2. £5.50 delivery fee, bag fee and service fee was surely enough. Very disappointed Think we will stick to Indian cottage

Probably one of the worse Indian restaurants we have eat in years. From the popadoms to starter and main course. Worse we ever had. I’m sorry to have to say this. Even when we asked the waiter for the wine list his answer was red or white. I replied can I see the wine list. His answer was cocky I have it all in my head. Also the staff are very young and literally NO experience at serving or anything else. Yous really need to change

My friend and myself Went here for dinner before going the the theatre, I got the veg pakora starter, its was so fresh and the sauce was beautiful combined together absolutely outstanding, for the main I got chicken madras and rice, it’s was delicious hot and fiery just how I like it and the garlic nan was just what was need to make this meal a 10/10 staff are lovely and attentive, the restaurant was beautiful and clean, never got kept waiting for dinner it was out in plenty of time and piping hot great price first time eating here but it won’t be my last.

Really bad mannered and cheeky staff. Their replies to other 1 star reviews says it all. Will never be back. Also the worst Indian food that I've ever had.

So I have been a loyal customer at this place for years. Sadly, I have been let down so many times with late deliveries & bad attitude when I call to enquire where my food is (usually an hour late). I kept going to them as felt there was not a decent Indian in Armagh. I’m done now, I will NOT give this restaurant any more time or money. I have been let down again - service is awful, food was good now just ok & customer service is absolutely appalling!!!!!!

Experience was absolutely terrible. Kebab arrived and chicken was chopped up like baby food. The naan it was in was like a wet nappy. Absolutely the worst kebab in Armagh by a mile. Had a bad donor from here too so I chose the chicken and it was a very bad decision. When I phoned to complain it was brushed off like it was my fault 😂. Joke of an establishment. The restaurant do lovely food when you sit in but the takeaway, nope. Will never order from them again.

Delivery took over 2 hours. Website said approximately 45mins, I waited almost 2.5 hours. Food was cold by the time it arrived. Very disappointed.

What can I say. This restaurant has the potential to become my number one favourite restaurant of all time. The quality of the service never mind the stunning variety of exquisite Indian cuisine is second to none. I genuinely have difficulty in driving past it without calling in. Every meal I've had in the restaurant or takeaway that I've ordered or shared has been simply delicious. On our most recent visit we had the mixed tandoori and lamb sheek starter them a mixed balti and king prawn Vindaloo with onion and pilau rice and saag aloo and peshwari naan along with the obligatory papadoms and sauces. No two dishes or sauces were the same. And each item stood out on its own merits. I cannot rate this restaurant enough. Food is epic and value for money. An Armagh gem.

2 hour wait and all of my food was cold. Bhaji was dry and burnt. awful.

Ordered online ,no salad as requested, luke warm,sauces all unidentifiable not what ordered ,overpriced 18.50 for a Kebab an a starter ? Customer service non existent ,after a phone call I was told nothing wrong with my order as he personally attented to and he forgot lettuce ! Order was mixed Kebab and salad with garlic sauce !

Have been going here for years! The last 3 orders have been wrong, first two times I rang they were ok apologised and that was it but frustrating non the less! The third time the guy argued with me down the phone, blamed me and was very rude.After a lengthy phone-call he apologised and told me they would send out the correct order and guess what the food NEVER ARRIVED! Very disappointed and will never use this place again! I hope they can improve their customer service

Welcome back Shapla! Been a bit dicey this last year or so with food quality fluctuating but tonight's was back to the standard we had come to expect previously! Delicious!!

Food as always excellent I eat in here and order delivery but last 2 deliveries have arrived over 40mins b4 requested time and as I was still at work not good last time it arrived 15 mins early I rang about my delivery they argued with me on phone that I had my time wrong NO I have the emails to prove it thanks to a kindly member of staff it was all sorted but has put a bad taste in my mouth regarding ordering delivery again even though food is amazing PLEASE shapla sort this out b4 people go elsewhere

I order from here often and NEVER had any issues with food timings. When my food was over 20mins late, I called thr restaurant and they said its coming soon. Unfortunately I was going out and I had no more time to wait. I asked for a refund and it was refused. So they delivered my food to my house 45mins late and I was not there and could not eat it. Also I am unable to be refunded from the restaurant. Please can you refund me as its awful that I was treated like this.

Absolutely atrocious! Placed an order for delivery at around 6:30pm. Website said 8pm. No problem. After numerous phone calls food arrives at 9:40pm. Then we get to my jalfrezi, pure water. Worst I have ever had and that says something. Even on the phone the service was pathetic. Very very poor, won’t make that mistake again!

Got take away from Shapla while on a long weekend in Armagh City. We had popadoms and 4 dips, 2 starters, 2 mains, 2 sides and naan bread for the princely sum of £40.40. The food was delicious particular the prawn purie starter and the Jalfrezi main. The staff were really friendly and accommodating. It was a real treat and very good value for money. I'll definitely be back.

I was in the restaurant this afternoon and I want in to get some Indians when I eat the Indians my wife said to me that she don’t feel ok when I left the restaurant my wife said to me I need to go hospital her head was spinning when we got to hospital my wife fainted and as well the staff was very rude to me I was trying to take my wife out for a bit of food and now this has happened to here and I have video proof of how ignorant the staff was, and how bad the food was took samples of the food to get them tested so I will update you soon and anybody who wants to see :(

Food was awful. Never had bad food from shapla before. Bread burnt, very little meat on the kebabs and donor meat was dry and hard like it has been sitting all day.very disappointed. Would put me off ordering again.

Such a nice place to eat in, the food was absolutely amazing. The staff make you feel welcome and friendly, they are willing to take time to explain any questions you have be about the food they serve. Chicken tikka masala was define. My wife loved the chicken curry.

Food was okay. Warm and well presented. Delivery driver was impatient and was leaving with the food when spotted and he gave the excuse we had not provided a working telephone number. I am certain the correct number is on the account, never an issue on other occasions.

The vindaloo didn’t look or taste like one it was too pale. And the kebab meat was salty. And for a mixed kebab there was very little chicken

Asked for onions on kebab, didn’t get them

Had asked for a change for a kebab to be on chips as I couldn't find an option to do so on the app. They didn't do the change witch was disappointing but food was good and early.

The food was really tasty and filling. The chips alone will ensure I'll be buying from them again - they were delicious, looked and tasted like home-made.

I paid for a 1 litre fanta, and recieved a 500ml fanta, wasnt happy. Besides that, the food was great.

Kebab was cold and not cooked proper, nann in the kebab was not cooked at all must’ve put it on for 10 seconds and took it off.

Too much onion , chicken tikka was of poor quality, something I would expect in a kebab, not be ordering again

Terrible food, takeaway always short of some item, staff cheeky and unpleasant to customers. A waste of money. Please eat elsewhere. My advice try Indian Cottage, Railway St Armagh will not be disappointed with takeaway.

Placed order around 4.30pm , received confirmation on delivery time 5.35- 5.55. Order arrives at 6.10pm and it was the wrong order. Driver appears back to collect the order. Came back 10 mins later with my order which had clearly been delivered to someone else. It was absolutely freezing. Was it handled and opened by another customer and passed on again? Very disappointed!

3 out of the 4 dishes had to be heated up because they were cold.

Food is top notch, couldnt fault it!

Had a great meal before a night out in the market theatre, the food was delicious and the service was excellent, the waiter was being trained but the person training him never allowed him to make any mistakes with the customers! He was watching everything the young waiter was doing, they obviously have regular customers as they were coming in and out as we ate, and the boss seemed to know them really well and was very attentive to everyones needs, great food, great atmosphere, and very good value for money, we left absolutely stuffed and enjoyed every bite of the food it was so nice!! We will be returning to Armagh if its just to go to Shapla for a feed!!

Luke warm, over an hour and a half late

Ordered hours ago and still have not received our food. Almost 8:30 now and still no delivery. Phoned and was told it was being finished up and hadn’t even left yet!!! Although i received notification it was on its way. Hungry and so disappointed

Rumar and his team never cease to surpass our expectations when it comes to enjoying a good meal at Shapla. From the moment we walk in the door, we are greeted like returning friends; the food is always delicious and exceptional value; and when we leave, it is always with a satisfied smile on our faces.

Normally a really good service and excellent food but today they Mixed the orders up i asked for kebab on chips no sauce and my partner asked for kebab on naan bread with garlic sauce he got the chips with garlic and i got the bread with no sauce
