Now my forth visit to Dante’s burgers and pizzas never disappoints!

Mid week treat, Dante’s did not disappoint. Busy night lots of big tables in, staff took it in their stride, looked after us great, very attentive. Food was excellent, far too much had the bbq pizza and philly fries. Fast service. nice we buzz in the restaurant.

Very good pizzas and we're definitely planning to return. Garlic mushroom starters were fine, if slightly over cooked.

A hidden Gem, great food. There was 5 front of house staff and they were very helpful and accommodating. I have a couple of little things I would change though i.e. there was no salt and vinegar on the table….plus there was a %10 service charge added to the bill that I wasn’t aware off until after I had given a tip.

Went there before a show and was blown away by the food, the burger and loaded fry I had were amazing the beef patty was crispy on the outside and so tender in the middle Managed to sneak a slice of pizza too which was equally tasty. Well worth a visit

Came here for a family evening. Food is lovely but service in between starter and main was very slow. It was busy and looked like only 2 servers. Service was good though and couldn't apologise enough for the delay. Would recommend but as long as you don't mind waiting for food.

We wanted to sit in for the first time with my 3-year-old daughter and my fiance (and I'm pregnant). They said we didn't have a reservation and they were full. Well, of course we didn't check that we should have made a reservation.. We ordered takeaway.. 3 minutes later a father came in with 2 children, they didn't make a reservation either, but of course there was already a place for them to sit down. I don't know what the food is like yet, but I'm sure it won't taste good! Jerks!

First time that we tried and it was very good, huge variety of dishes with a more restrictive early bird menu that runs until 7pm. Great cocktails 🍹 although the service for the main dishes was slow the chef came to our table and presented his apologies.

Pleasant, friendly staff despite them being busy. Absolutely 💯...well worth the travel from Belfast! Will definitely be back. I would recommend without hesitation.

Lovely food and great service well worth a visit.

Food was excellent, we had a rib and wings platter and a bacon cheese burger with loaded fries. All cooked perfect. Only downside on the night was they were very busy and only two staff on so had to wait about 15/20 mins to order food. This didn’t bother us as we were in no rush and the food made up for it. Staff friendly also!

We decided to try Dantes as we had heard about its food. I had reserved but they had lost it - but that was fine as we got a table. The restaurant was busy and there was a nice buzz from diners. The menu is very large and we decided on calzone and pizza with a side of loaded fries- garlic bread to start. The food came out fast and both courses were delicious. The pizza was very large, and we took the rest home. There was a lot of staff so the service was very quick. A very enjoyable meal.

Really fabulous menu and beautiful food.

The restaurant is situated in the basement of the Charlemont Hotel and can be accessed from rear car park, so wheel chair friendly or from a staircase on main street. A cosy quirky atmosphere and all staff very attentive with a good cocktail selection along with draft and bottled beers. Excellent menu choice with American influences. All food being brought to other tables as we waited our turn looked amazing and well presented. Platter option "Ribs and wings" was gorgeous and could not fault it in any way! Salad option "Hallumi Pesto" just perfect! We had sides of Garlic & parmesan fries along with Philly fries, which were just out of this world!

Absolutely gorgeous food- a fabulous menu which is so hard to choose from!! Will have to come back to try the other dishes. Reasonably priced also. Staff friendly and efficient as well which is always a bonus.

Food and service was absolutely fantastic we will definitely be returning.

Our family went to Dantes last weekend on a one night visit to Armagh. The staff were so lovely and friendly. Chicken wings were a big hit with the kids,and all the food was lovely!

Do not recommend. Everywhere in the interent it says they do deliveries when i've rang the restaurant they've said they don't do deliveries!

Great place to have really tasty food and it was served really quickly and warmed through thoroughly. The member of staff serving us was a lady called Lisa and couldn't do enough for our table of 5. Can't fault location, food, speed or the service. If I could give 6 stars I would.

A group of 5 of us, visiting Armagh for 2 days for the Xmas/Georgian fest went here sat night. It’s family run place with an affordable menu full of choice. Lovely cocktails - I had a whiskey sour. Also had a nice glass of Rioja. Food wise: Went for a classic burger and fries. Proper fresh meat patties and the usual trimmings, nice quality bun. Home made medium sized fries. Very tasty. Perfecto.! My pals had no complaints either (pizzas, wings, pasta, etc.) and complimented the food and service. Well managed place that also does takeaway orders. Will defo visit again.

Well when your 4 year old requests a pizza party for his birthday in Dantes you know it's good!! We had a party of 15 for our son's birthday one of which has food restrictions which were catered for and the whole evening went without a hitch. Dante's is so child friendly that it made us adults feel even more relaxed. The food was absolutely amazing and we had a variety of pizzas, ribs, burgers, goujons and loaded fries. The chicken curry (curry in a hurry) pizza is a must try. Kids all received crayons to colour in their menus and we even made song requests for the birthday boy. Staff were so attentive and couldn't have done enough for us. To top it all off the birthday received a voucher for a free pizza on his next visit!! We know where we're going for the next birthday dinner although we won't even wait that long 😀 do not pass this pizza and burger without stopping in!! Thanks Dantes for making Danny's evening 🙌

I honestly cannot fault anything about Dantes. The food was amazing, from the chicken wings to the pizza it was perfection. My girlfriend also got a burger which was one of the nicest I have had. The service was also top class, very friendly staff who went above and beyond for us. It’s something small but we waited a bit for our table so we grabbed a few drinks and sat in the waiting area, when our table was ready the waiter carried our drinks to the table. Cannot fault it and will definitely be back!

I recently met friends in Dantes to try their new lunch menu. I had seen the menu advertised on Instagram and couldn't wait to sample it as all evening meals I have had in Dantes have been absolutely delicious. The lunch menu did not disappoint! We all chose different options from the menu and everything was equally as tasty. All dishes were fresh and full of flavour. We were accompanied by our four energetic babies/toddlers who were keen to let their voices be heard. The staff were fantastic and provided crayons and colouring pages to keep them entertained. They were so lovely with the children, chatting with them and making them giggle. The chef came out of the kitchen at one point and asked if we would mind sampling a new dish that he was considering adding to the menu. It tasted unbelievably good!! I'm so excited to visit Dantes again soon and taste all the 'newness' that the chef has in store. Definitely worth making a trip to Armagh to experience this gem of a restaurant.

We went for a meal with our family for my mothers birthday and Lisa was our waitress for the evening. She went above and beyond expectations. Anything we asked for she done it with a smile on her face every time (even though I’m an awkward person when it comes to ordering food). When our meal was finished she had prepared a dessert plate with “happy birthday” and a candle. Couldn’t have asked for a better waitress!

10 out of 10. Super lunch. Very tasty.

I was with the family visiting the planetarium and during lunch we decided to call into Dante’s. This was a great choice, ok calling via the Main Street we nearly walked into the bar section as the eatery is located down near the basement, some spiral stairs near the end. Once in at the restaurant we were greeted with a friendly smile and warm welcome. I can say that the atmosphere is great as it looked like a tavern from a Lord of the Rings novel it was warm with stone floors and a fireplace that I guess is lit during autumn or winter time providing at cosy and warm vibe. Then we ordered a Chicken Caesar salad, Dante Club sandwich, for the kids sausage chips and Chicken Goujon and chips. Asking a member of staff if there was a place to park, as I was a little pressed for time (parking on the main road you are limited to 1hr), the helpful and polite staff advised giving clear instructions about the car park at the rear of the restaurant, 5⭐️ for being informative and polite. The food came shortly after my return from parking, I would say total time about 20min to 25min this was lunch time. The Caesar salad it was great good portion, had lots of chicken salad fresh no yellow bits, but what is good is the chicken it was moist not dry unlike some. My club sandwich wow that was a sandwich it was 3 layers and loaded see picture. The bread was soft, chicken tasted great The sauce was not overpowering the coleslaw side and salad complimented well with each other, the toasted bread was perfect and no burnt side etc it was toasted just right. This was a big sandwich the picture does not do it justice. The biggest test when it comes to food is if the kids love it, it is a pass and the kids loved their meals the chicken goujons and sausage chips that where served in little fryer baskets. The staff is friendly and polite, would I eat here again? Yes definitely and you should try it out also. PS. I was going to write this review at the start of July but with work just got held up, but yes it’s a great place would definitely go back again, when back in Armagh 👍👍👍

My husband and I popped in for the first time this evening. The food was delicious we had garlic mushrooms, a pizza and loaded garlic and bacon fries. Everything was delicious and the staff were lovely. A really nice addition to Armagh food scene. We will definitely be back xx

We love Dante, has variety and taste homemade. The pizzas are so good even when you remove the cheese taste great but sometimes the put a lot of sauce so you can not taste the lovely veggies and the meat. The burgers are so nice and they have an incredible ring onions.

Visited on a very busy Friday eve. This is a basic venue, nothing fancy but great food. Every type of burger you can imagine, lots of wood fired pizza choice. Fries with lots of different toppings and the service was excellent. Cocktails were great too....
