The best restaurants in Shimna Down South Eastern NI

Absolutely awesome 🤩 we had a few small plates to get a good feel for the variety of the menu and WOW! My personal fav was chicken parfait but every single mouthful was heaven. I hope this restaurant gets awarded a Michelin star it would be well deserved ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ will defo be back HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I recommend the pancake stack it is first class you should go and try it out sometime and the staff are so friendly and helpful and kind and good crack

Bake fresh scones and traybake every day open from 10-3pm Wednesday - Saturday. Great for children have a play area and outdoor seating. Great coffee and tea great value highly recommended

Having visited Graphite about a month ago we were super excited to visit again, oh what a mistake the menu had changed and so had the quality of the food. We were extremely disappointed, I have since found out the previous chefs have left and this is obviously the reason. We would certainly not return.

Lovely wee meal last night, really enjoyed it and the staff could not have been more helpful. Will be back again for sure.

Pizza was good, especially the garlic dip was yummy… nice atmosphere very near to the beach and walkable from bus station.

Called at cafe on wed 4/12/24 with friend and had the" Brunch" on the menu and a tea for 2 .Great service friendly staff and the place had a nice ambience,Neal was beautiful and reasonably priced would recommend highly .

I love your spring rolls they are absolutely divine. I would highly recommend this takeaway to anyone wanting a nice chinese takeaway. It's my favourite, so yummy. LilyB age 9

Unfortunately after an average pizza and shared bottle of wine,we were asked to leave. We had exceeded 1hr 20 mins of alloted time we were told, which was not conveyed to us upon booking. I had assumed a 2 hour window as is the norm. I'd asked for a digestif rather than a dessert which was just offered. At that point the manager came over to explain our time, 1hr 20 mins had expired. Even though we'd just been offered dessert. Very rude manager. We left immediately very annoyed. We won't return. The waitress had been amazing. The management let her down.

I had the gluten free fish and chips last April and had to bring my family back when they came to visit. Every dish was delicious again- I had the fish, my mother had a smash burger, and my dad had the silver side beef. All three were cooked to perfection, flavorful, and interesting. Great service as well. A favorite in Newcastle. 💛
