BAO & BENTO in Down

I love your spring rolls they are absolutely divine. I would highly recommend this takeaway to anyone wanting a nice chinese takeaway. It's my favourite, so yummy. LilyB age 9

Food very salty almost to the point of being inedible I have eaten here before and it was fine but won’t be back

Food is great but is this restaurant ever open?? They have more holidays than santa. Such a pity.

Says it's open until 9 on Sundays but we arrived at 7:45 and it was closed 🙁

1st impression amazing, 2nd order a little disappointed as ordered the same bento box by my side were different, overall food nice m, noodles on a dry side, lovely presentation tho, and will defo give them another go. Way better that any other chinease around

Beautiful food, well presented. All the dishes i have tried are excellent, The ribs are so good and fall off the bone. Leave yourself 15mins if ordering at shop.

Food and service of the high standard. I have been a customer of this business for many years and their food is always tasty, hot and presented beautifully. I would highly recommend you try this as it is with out doubt it’s the best in the South down area.

Seeing the prices I was initially unsure of Bao and Bento. But after seeing the portions, and trying the food, safe to say I am very happy with this. Next time I want a curry I will be going back!

Amazing food, delicious, not expensive and fresh ingredients

Unreal! Called yesterday for dinz on our last evening on a "staycation". We got salt & chilli chicken with curry sauce & rice for my fussy fiance, honey chilli chicken w/ rice, chicken curry w/ rice & I got the siracha noodle bento box & it was all absolutely beautiful 👌👌 It was all reasonably priced, it was the safest takeaway I've felt through the pandemic with no access in to the restaurant at all, the member of staff we spoke with was fantastic - polite, efficient & helpful with the aforementioned fussy fiance! My Dad & Uncle were saying that throughout the pandemic they haven't enjoyed a takeaway whether it be because of high demand or lack of access to ingredients but this was thoroughly enjoyed by all!

Very friendly and polite staff. Very busy place and had a bit of a wait. The sticky pork bao buns are delicious. Reasonably priced. Worth a visit if you’re in Newcastle
