The best restaurants in Ballyhenry Newtownabbey North Eastern NI

We have ordered from here a few times on JustEat and my partner really enjoyed it. I bought his parents a gift voucher for Christmas because so many people said how good it was, when I went to get the voucher the staff were lovely and very friendly. My partners mum booked a table but when they arrived the staff couldn't find the booking, they eventually found it, but only because it was for 4 adults and a child, not by the name. The service was OK, I've worked in restaurants before and just felt it could've been better, but it was a Saturday night. My partner's mum found all the food to be very salty, everyone else seemed to enjoy most of the food, apart from the fries which were under cooked and soggy. The worst part came early on Monday morning when my 3 year old son was sick. He vomited all day, the next morning my partner got sick and later that evening I also became ill. I personally have never been that sick in my entire life, vomited all day, couldn't even keep water down. It took us all a good few days to recover and to finally be able to eat food again. My partner's parents also got sick, so it must've been the food. It has completely put me off eating here again. I don't like leaving bad reviews and had actually put off writing this, but I was just so disappointed and don't want anyone else to experience what we did. Maybe doing more checks on the food or temperatures could've avoided this.

Went here to have lunch with our dearest friends, who lived locally to this establishment. Great food, very clean and pleasant surroundings and cheerful staff. Well worth a visit. Thanks to the kind staff member who stepped in to take a photograph of us all together.

Booked the wrong restaurant and boy were we glad! Visiting from Derry for a show at local theatre, we were recommended another establishment nearby, I booked the wrong restaurant!! Best mistake ever!! The food, ambience, decor and service were all outstanding. Not a single negative to say ( well maybe not serving wine by the glass, but wasn’t big deal). The complimentary poppadoms arrived with fabulous dips and the sauces with our shared tandoori mixed starter were awesome. The chicken chilli masala was just the perfect spice level and my Khayber special mix of chicken lamb and prawns was superb, the lamb was as tender as I’ve ever had. The portions were way too big! I’ll be travelling from Derry to dine here again soon!

Absolutely delicious!! Even my Dad loved it, and said he will definitely be back, im a vegetarian and had the vegetable fajitas, amazing!!

Food is cold, even when getting a delivery it is ALWAYS wrong (mostly short). It is a total embarassment to McDonalds and whoever is in management needs to be swapped out for someone better !!!!!!

I went to the till in Tesco cafe Northcott. Blonde woman behind till, ignored me completely, continued with what she was doing. No acknowledgement. Then she walked off. So I walked off too.
