Tesco Cafe in Newtownabbey

I went to the till in Tesco cafe Northcott. Blonde woman behind till, ignored me completely, continued with what she was doing. No acknowledgement. Then she walked off. So I walked off too.

Seating area could do with extra cleaning. Menu average….. not a lot of choice. Staff not overly friendly. Tables and condiment area not clean. We received dirty cutlery and an eye roll from the front of house staff. Won’t be back.

Had a long wait for jacket potatoes, the coffee we ordered was served first. The meal made us wish we had gone somewhere else. One coffee was in a cracked cup and the jacket potatoes so overcooked and hard that my knife would not go through mine. Only about a third was edible. Definitely not worth the money. We would have no desire to ever go back. You can see the cracked cup in the photo and the food on the plate was impossible to divide with a knife and fork.

Called in today with my daughter and 2 grandsons. My daughter ordered scrambled eggs on toast and a sausage while I just had a scone. So slow. I had my tea taken and scone eaten and no sign of any of the rest of food ordered. We asked the dark haured girl wiping tables about the food and she was so sullen and really couldn't have cared less. Blonde haired lady came down with food after about 20/25 minutes, plonked it down and walked away. Where is the customer service?? Just appalling!! There was only a few customers eating. Maybe that tells a story? Definitely won't be back. They need to get their act together

I have now become a regular here as the food is so good and the customer service is excellent. There seems to be a new manager and new team in place - all very efficient, helpful and friendly. Great spot for a bite of lunch - would highly recommend the all day fry!

Went today for lunch with my sister. Ordered 2 all day frying..... fella that served me neither looked clean or very interestedin his job !!! Waited 20 mins on food and when it arrived was disgusting ....bread greacey beans looked like they had been reheated all day long !!! Actually took our food to another customer 1st then when he noticed us waiting brought it over to us (after other customer had breathed etc over it !!) Other member of staff thought it would be funny to keep ringing the bell to the point we ended up leaving !!! Customer trainning required and staff trainning on personal hygiene !!!
