Domino's Pizza in Newtownabbey

Absolutely awful service from the guys at the till to the workers doing nothing in the background standing with no gloves on leaning on a bench in a row of four. This place use to be a tight run ship with Carson Todd running the place things were done right and effective. Took them 25 minutes for a personal pizza in which I had to go up 3 times to remind them after it was taken off the collection/ready board and about 7/8 customers served before me just shocking really ruined my night. Place has went seriously downhill after the old good manager (Carson) left, also had 2 phone calls with orders wrong while I was waiting on the staff to get my food.

Food was dreadful. The Fries arrived cold and tasted dreadful. The chicken was soggy and not worth the price. The pizza was soggy. Very disappointed. £30 wasted.

Very rarely go here as I already know from past experience it's a hovel with pathetic customer service. However last day off for Xmas holz I thought I'd give them another chance. Regret is an understatement. Delivery driver arrives and there's no drink in the bag, no apologies just 'i don't have it'. WELL IVE F#*KING PAID FOR IT MATE!!! The food itself was VILE, absolutely swimming in BBQ sauce I couldn't taste anything else. This store is the only one I've been in the whole of NI that's bad and unfortunately it's the only one in delivering distance...the owner needs to sort it out and hire actual people and not imbeciles.

Hi I reviewed this place before called it an adolescent party ,well tonight it was very different,very busy ,the staff were great ,organized and customer focused. Massive change ,well done

Seem to get the same Female employee who tells me that a personal size pizza takes 45 -55 minutes to make 29 Sept 2023 10.30pm .. but yet shop wasn’t busy as I was standing outside .. is this Franchise proud of their Google reviews .. three occasions I had to give my business to a neighbouring pizza franchise because of this employees lack of interest … come on guys .. this used to be a pizza franchise with an interest in their Customers … not good business.. owners of this franchise wake up

The wrong pizza was delivered, I had to drive and collect the correct pizza even though I paid for delivery, meaning most of the other stuff was cold, joke of a place best to avoid.

Wrong Pizza delivered, poor toppings, 4 meatballs on one pizza, too much cheese and too much sauce making the pizzas like slop. Central Customer service couldn’t care less. I will be going to Valentino’s a few doors down from now on.

I went in with a few friends and went to the till to purchase my pizza and this lady was talking at me in a tone I didn’t say Anything and ordered. We were watching her make the pizzas while on our phones and this lady yelled at us for “taking photos of the staff” when we were not. This is just not good customer service. This happened at approximately 7:10pm on 24/08/23

Ordered a pizza and cookies. The oil / grease on the underside of the pizza was disgusting - the box was soaked through there was so much. The cookies were raw inside. I submitted an online complaint but was later told by Phoebe (whoever she is and wherever she is from - no signature on the bottom of her e-mails) that I could not be offered anything by way of compensation as I had not contacted the store directly. There was nothing on the online complaint form to say that I had to do this. I told Phoebe to consider that another compliant but I am yet to hear back from her. Will never be back. Judging by the stream of dreadful reviews on various platforms (3.3 / 2.5 /2.1 out of 5) you really could do with upping your game.

Got speaking to another ‘Glenn’ who was having the same issue. So we both spoke with staff who then gave him his order along with mine. Staff are brain dead. Went to valentinos instead, it’s excellent

Awful service and customer service couldn’t be any worse , I got a pizza last night and it took over an hour and a half I was waiting in that place from 9 and then didn’t see it till half 10 , I had asked if it was ready around that time because i thought it had been from being under pressure, the guy that I had asked then asked for my name to search for the pizza and it had been sitting there the whole time and I then felt it , it was freezing and when I asked him could he somehow heat it up he said “ I just took it out “ even tho I just watched him search for it and then hand it to me , it is absolutely shocking , he then laughed in my face and walked away , stay clear of these people

Ordered a pizza for delivery App said Pizza was out for delivery Never arrived. Rang - Manager stated the the driver definitely delivered it. But if that was the case I wouldn’t believe leaving a negative review. As far as I am concerned I entered into a contract to eat some food and they reneged on the contract.

Carry out, the place was a mess with food over floor in preparation area, staffed by adolescents,I think people should enjoy work but take care that task in hand is delivered. Music in store deafening making communication difficult. Made my order and patiently waited they were busy. Staff worked hard at processing orders then cheered when all orders in oven,fine but milled around larking about,all orders seemed to come out of oven but none seemed to make it to hand over . Guy who ordered before me on line was still waiting when I left he did ask for but was told order was there just couldn’t find it as they were busy. Probably the makings of a good business but needs management.

Great delivery from the 1.6L Golf TDI from rod todd fast delivery nice note of her sir! threw in a few packets of scampi fries and away he went with a no teeth smile and Excalibur by his side

Overly expensive pizza, usually overcooked with a excessive wait time from ordering.

Well first of all rang for a delivery they guy on the phone couldn't hear me for the staff laughing and carrying on in the back round and had to repeat my order 3 times anyway pizza came and the pizzas were ok but the wedges were pathetic for 4.99 aye robbers

So tonight a busy Friday night there are 2 staff on. Taking abuse from customers because they are trying their dam best. The management of DOMINO'S should be ashamed of themselves puting 2 young girls in that position.... Wheres the rest of the staff?

This place accepted my food order and then cancelled, no phone call no reason. So I rang and the answer I got was we are short staffed and not taking any orders. Mind you this was after the person who answered the phone had to go ask.

Used to be a loyal customer of Dominos Ballyclare. Received an order last night, that I'm not sure what it was. Dough balls were so flat, they were almost as thin a pizza. Texas BBQ had No chicken Veg pizza had No cheese....pizza with no cheese?? Mamma Mia!!! Chicken wings as dry ever.

Reviewed this place a while back and it wasn’t a good experience. However 7 months later I decided to try the branch again. It was amazing! Food is 5 stars and the delivery time was great. I hope they keep these standards up as with so many takeaways in Ballyclare it is very easy to forget about dominos. I am happy with my experience this time and the app seems to have even more deals which is great. Old review - Waited for nearly two hours for our order which I placed on the dominos app. When I rang to enquire, the woman, who was polite and friendly apologised and said, ‘on busy periods the app doesn’t register with our screens’. Retook the order and it arrived 40 minutes later. Food was great! Got complimentary sides which was kind of her. However was missing my bottle of coke. The young delivery driver said he’ll call back with the coca cola but never did, had to eat my dominos with a glass of water :( like a weirdo. Never had an issue with this dominos but reading the last few comments on this seems like they need to make things right with the app and their service time.

We had an issue with a delivery order. The pizza had clearly been sitting for ages, was cold and we were missing some items. I phoned the store and told them what was missing but also that the food was cold, this is the first we have had an issue. The member of staff handled the call brilliantly, said they would recook all the food, deliver it back out and add in some extras. Couldn't ask for better customer service and happy to leave a good review

You need to bring back Andor he will have this store back on its feet and he will make sure everyone knows there different pizzas.this store has gone down hill and if you get the right order your one of the lucky ones.DOMINOS catch a grip and take pride in your food instead of putting out rubbish food to people

This dominos store consistently gets my orders wrong, even though they’re generally all the same. They forget dips, forget drinks and even deliver me an order meant for someone else’s house. As I write this I’ve been waiting 1.5 hours for an order. I’ve already phoned the store who told me that they sent my order to the wrong address and that they are remaking it fresh to have it sent out. No idea why I keep ordering from here, they haven’t got a clue.

If i could give 0 stars i would. Tonight i ordered chicken strippers, a garlic bread pizza and pepperoni dough balls to receive cookies and two garlic bread pizzas that were received freezing cold.To then call and be told they tried to contact me but no answer when no one has called me and i have no missed calls/voicemails so basically they have no dough balls or chicken strips left so have instead sent a replacement of cookies and garlic bread?

Absolutely worst dominos I've ever been to. Had some staff totally ignorant. Not saying all are. But some are terrible and rude. And they struggle to deliver and send out a semi decent pizza. Total mess if any changes to the order and if no changes they still manage to mess it up. Shocked how dominos is even at this point. Please learn to just make the type of pizza ordered. Come on. Shouldn't be difficult. It's all you do! Learn from better dominos. Total awful place. I've had multiple bad experiences or numerous occasions. Now just my fault for bothering since it's clearly the worst dominos I've ever experienced!

After ordering by app we waited an hour and a half to get the food, eventually after calling down to the ballyclare branch and 2 extra phone calls to get our order. The food was cold by the time we got it. I contacted the local store manager twice and was guaranteed of a refund this never happened. Then to give dominos a fair chance to correct their customer service I contacted their complaints department which was useless and closed the complaint as they couldn't find the order which is a bit confusing as they took the money no problem. Absolutely terrible service. I couldn't recommend more to have no dealings with them as they are more than happy to take your money for over priced cold food then refuse a refund even thought they told me originally there was no problem. Dispite telling them all information requested how an organisation with this size of infrastructure can't find the order is unfathomable considering that in 2018, the then CEO explained that the company is “as much a tech company as we are a pizza company” with half its 800 employees in its headquarters working in software and analytics! This must be purposed for profit and not customer care considering they can't find an order or phone calls made even though all calls are recorded thus can be traced by phone number and time? All I can say is the customer service is a total joke and obviously a company who doesnt stick to its word. Unfortunately I can't rate a zero. This is now gone on over a month so I have been very generous with the timescale. I will definitely be using and recommending elsewhere in future. Maybe dominos should focus on customer care and it's reputation, so for £30 in my eyes you have lost both. It shouldn't take analytics to see why your rating is what it is.

Very disappointed as we’re regular customers order from here often, This past Friday will have been the last time we do though. The pizza we ordered came with toppings ONLY on a few pieces of the pizza the rest of pizza just cheese, no toppings. We called, lady apologised and said we’ll get another out to you. We waited over an hour, no pizza. We called again, we were told the pizza was still sitting at the shop because they didn’t have an address, but, we’d givin them the address. Again, they said now we’ll rush it out. 40 mins later, stil no pizza arrived. We went to Dominos in person and requested a refund.

Utter rubbish. I immediately phoned Valentino's next door. After they tried not to serve me for being outside Ballyclare. Ballynure Road is in Ballyclare. Then told me to use the App. Domino's is rubbish.

Ordered a pizza which after 2hrs didn't turn up. Rang the shop several times but no answer so decided to drive down. The girl in the shop apologised and said they were very busy and offered to give me the pizza but it was stone cold. She offered to remake but said it would take another 30mins which I didn't really want to do as I'd already been 2hrs waiting so she said she would process a refund because of the wait. Haven't received a refund and now being told I'm not allowed one - what a joke

Might have been a nice pizza, but it seems they're only delivering as far as they can open the door and throw the pizza. Our house 4-5 mins away appeara to be too much of a stretch, so just ordered off Valentinos next door.

My son and I ordered a half and half but didn’t expect to be missing part of the pizza. After being asked how many slices and is it pushed together I gave up even trying to argue it . Not worth it and won’t be racing back.

This is by far the worst domino's yet.all I see is a large girl do nothing but eat,eat,eat and eat everything in sight when standing where all the hot pizzas are..I was only in for 10 mins and she ate more than what my order was.i stood in amazement at how much this girl ate..how can she eat that much then go make pizzas without washing her hands?????

Just ordered from dominos ballyclare. Food arrived freezing cold not great. Toppings only on the middle part of the pizza nothing around the edges. Will not be back as it was a waste of money.

The pizza was meant be half and half sauce was but when it came to the toppings it was all over the pizza & was cold , needed reheated

Quick delivery and good compatibility with the app a tad overpriced but that is to be expected with all domino's food. Bit tasty for sure!

Would never get lunch from here again, on 3 consecutive occasions they either got my order wrong meaning I had to wait another 15 minutes when my order was pre-ordered an hour in advance or sent my order with a delivery driver causing the same to happen. The boy at he counter was nothing but rude when I asked how long it would be until it was ready.

wanted to take advantage of the mega week any size pizza £5.99 which was advertised via leaflet drop through my door which clearly stated "MEGA WEEK 17th-24th February..however upon ordering on Monday 24th i was told the deal has ended..i didnt press the case but im surprised the staff member didnt offer to stand by the deal in question as under trading standards law they must honour any advertisment.👎👎

Ordered quite a few pizzas on line. Nowhere on websites to add allergy information. I Contacted the store to give relevant info. But operator choose to ignore it. I rang back the store, the first person I spoke with hadn't a clue, so she put me onto someone else. They where very apologetic and sent up a new pizza and bottle of coke straight away. I was very impressed. Thanks Ballyclare. Great customer experience.

They have no idea what a tuna delight is, constantly send the wrong pizza when you order one, twice now in two weeks. So had to eat my side separately from my pizza, defeating the purpose of ordering one. Person on the phone sounded like sending the wrong order wasn't a suprise to her. All I got for my trouble was a garlic bread, franchise needs to pull it's socks up.

Pizza is average/nothing special in my opinion. You pay £1.40 per topping and there have been times i have ordered chicken peppers and red onion for my toppings and no lie must have got 1/10th of a pepper/onion and a quarter of a chicken breast. Not really good enough when paying £15 for a pizza. Same goes for cheese, usually have to order double to make sure i get some. Their delivery service is good, ordering process etc and deals for families are OK i suppose but rarely order from Dominos anymore as always feel i have been ripped off.

we usually enjoy a 50/50 large pizza wedges etc but this time food dipped well below expectations there was more sizzle in the cardboard than the pizza seemed very skimpy ingredients so probably down to the cook on the night However at these prices i think the customer is entitled to expect excellence consistently and it might well be sometime before we decide to try again

Staff are very good and delivery is always quick. Pizzas are made to order and match the quality and standard of the other Domino's as expected. Prices are decent whenever there are deals on.

They are good, but don't have a very good selection of pizza 🍕, Good for a quick snack, can be expensive.

we took advantage of a may fair special offer to sample two pizzas and side order recently and the service and accompanying food were first class Piping hot really tasty and at collection point staff were very efficient Well done Dominos

Sometimes the pizza is very greasy. I think it depends on the person preparing the items. The online ordering can be down and can only phone order.

Is under new management now and the difference is night and day. Definitely the best quality pizza I've sampled. The staff are polite and friendly.
