Pizzarella in Newtownabbey

Pineapple requested and paided for as extra but didn’t make it on to the ordered pizza

Haven’t had from pizarella in years. Cheesy gravy chip arrived in foil packaging, piping hot and delicious. Pizza was amazing. Struggle to find a good pizza in newtownabbey anymore and glad I re found in here. Got ice cream too which is always great! Will order again

Arrived early unexpectedly but delivery estimate very long 1 hour.

Unless you're looking to spend the night being sick and needing to send a friend to Tesco to buy £21 worth of Buscopan and other stomach tablets, I would highly recommend avoiding this place. The pizza I received from Pizzarella was of extremely poor quality, with a frozen base, and I ended up violently ill shortly after eating. I had to miss an appointment the next day due to the severity of my symptoms. I’ve already reported the incident to the FSA. Do yourself a favor and steer clear. (Avoid)

Quite possibly one of the most horrendous takeaways I’ve ever seen, it didn’t taste horrendous, but the garlic mayo chip looked like microwaved chipped with just a huge clump of cottage cheese wacked on it, the pizza was eatable but nothing really special and the chilli chip was again just soggy chips with sauce slapped on top like it was just out of the fridge after 3 months

on delivery Pizza was cold and again the fries were cold , so wasn't worth ordering as I had to put everything in the oven which ruined the taste and texture and couldn't eat , has put me off ordering again and will go back to collecting our food ourselves and through the actual restaurant which we use regularly so know what the quality should be

lovely pizza as always, although id personally recommend getting new Mauds Ice cream flavours in stock, Mauds pistachio is 10/10 although the store doesn't sell :)

Amazing curry & cheese chips!! I usually have a gravy chip, not anymore

Pizza is great, however, to get 5* they'd need to -rinse the olives to get the excess salt off -have a veggie only pizza cutter -stop charging nearly as much for veg toppings as meat -improve the chips (massively) -ask the boss guy to get a new personality. He's really rude.

it is a busy night with being Xmas eve, so the estimated time was not practical, so not the restaurants fault, when I rang they so helpful and I'll ordered again but not though just eat app.

Awful service 45 mins late, delivery driver went yo wrong address even though we're literally 5 mins away... cold pizza when the girl in the business assured me was only out 10 mins ago....absolutely awful !!! Will never use again, save your money

Secret shopper employed by Just Eat ordered a medium pizza and chips with a sauce. Payment taken. Restaurant contacted 7 mins later to say no chips or sauce available and driver will bring cash refund Called back. Was told refund would be delivered by driver and it will be cash. Driver didn’t k own what his name was never mind a refund. Contacted restaurant- store manager was too busy to speak to me as she was closing the shop. Name given. The person speaking to me gave her name and said she’d not been working at the shop that long. But it was over a year!

Just got a pizza may as well got a frozen pizza from Iceland tasted horrible don't no we're the cheese was think it miss the pizza. Got a garlic bread with it 4 small slices don't no how much the price for that was. It wasn't the best ethier. Got charged 21 pound pizza and garlic bread ridiculous price didn't eat any of it so money down the drain I'm still hungry won't be back.

the pizza has changed , been getting pizza from here since the 90s it was the best but the last few orders the pizza has totally changed thought it was just a bad day but no , from the dough to the sauce it's just not the same delicious slice and after... its true what they say " no king rules forever "

We buy from this outlet every now and again and the standard is usually really good, however tonight the pizza and onion rings were burnt, the chips were overcooked and the coleslaw wasn't very nice.

I usually order online and wish I had of, the service in store is absolutely shocking. The female server (not N Irish) is incredibly rude to the point it seems younger servers are afraid to ask her for help. The young guy serving me was clueless about anything on the menu, he just said ‘I haven’t a clue what that is honestly’. After so much fuss he charged me then actually made me come back to pay a mere 70p for a dip. After such awful service it should have been free. So so disappointed. Usually my favourite place. Have no idea why these people tonight are in customer service but the young chap was clueless. Really should be given training or asked why he wants the job. Shockingly bad.

Honestly their customer service is appalling. They messed up my order and then had the ordasity to say I'd have the items they forgot free the next time.. 🙃 sorry, I already paid for them, and you stole from me because your manager is incompetent and can't read. Your customer service is appalling. I've been a patron for 20 years, and you have lost me as a customer. You had the opportunity to comp me my next meal, and you refused, and offer just a refund of the items you missed, even though I had to source other food to feed my family because your staff can't read 4 items on a receipt. The owner was a coward and refused to talk to me. I hope many more see this and choose to eat elsewhere. Customer service like this will kill this business. I would have paid 000's into here over the next lot of years.. not any more.. I hope they close!!!

Excellent, they read my comments and did everything perfect. I write some rubbish too in my requests after a few drinks, I’m sure Pizzarella had a laugh at the number of times I mention cheese 😂 10/10 service and food 👌

Ordered from this place and no food turned up whatsoever, this has never happened before and they have taken money from my account!!! Rung the shop and they told me they had no docket or any delivery with my address!

Delivery was great however food quality was poor. Pizza was burnt, asked for it to be remade without the chilli powder which was causing the pizza to burn and a giving it a bitter taste the lady then explained she would remake it but insisted put half of chilli back on to pizza to demonstrate that the chilli powder is burning (even though we asked her not too) we were then handed back a half burnt pizza to which ended up in the bin.

Ordered two 9 inch pizzas, may as well have bought frozen pizza from lidl, clearly precooked pizza bases, not worth the money at all.

Pizza was all went and soggy in the middle with tuna juice, tuna not drained. Flakes and Belgium flakes not on ice cream when paid for.

the person that delivered my food nearly took my gate off when leaving, I put a note on the order asking to use the front door as the back gate had been painted, however I forgot that the workmen had left items in front of the front gate blocking it, the driver explained that they had beet at the front gate but could not enter, I apologised as I forgot, she then just turned and slammed my gate after explaining the front gate was blocked, I can understand but still no need

Chips were covered in sauce which I didn’t ask for. I asked for a dip. Garlic bread was missing. The sauce on the chips tasted off making them uneatable. And food was cold. Been a customer for years. Extremely disappointed.

Complete joke. The pulled pork and chips were obviously recycled from yesterday and stuck under the grill. Chips were about as fresh as Mick Jagger and the pork was drier than the Sahara. They didn’t even have the decency to pour fresh BBQ sauce over it to make it look like it wasn’t from yesterday or the day before. Also ordered a 500ml bottle of coke and got a can. If you know you can’t make something fresh, don’t have it on the menu. I spent over £32 and I am NOT impressed. Will NEVER be back here.

I love pizzarella! I always get the same thing, Gravy cheesy chips and they are always great…However….sometimesss the chips can be a wee bit cold and crunchy in the middle…But I can ignore it but it would be nice if the chips were heated just a bit more….!

The app said our order was delivered on the original time, I rang the shop as we hadn’t received our order. They said it was on its way and the app was wrong or updates before it should. Then they changed our delivery time to another 35 min so I would say it had been delivered to the wrong address

Extremely disappointed been a customer for years, food was really poor. So doaghy and soggy. Majority not eaten.

Not only have the restaurant been consistently delivering great quality food via delivery and collection, but the delivery staff are so polite and accommodating even checking orders before handing over food at the door and attempting to remedy mistakes made in the restaurant for order handover making sure the best results for customers and staff in the restaurant. Cannot recommend higher!

Ordered food tonight and ordered a chilli based pizza but received a sweet chilli base. I phoned the restaurant and was told I should have specified that I wanted chilli and not sweet chilli even though that wasn't an option.really upset with the food and the service

My food was supposed to be delivered between 23.10-23.30 and was marked out for delivery with the drover at 23.05. it's now 00.00. I have requested an update from the restaurant online and have not received one and cannot speak with them on the phone. Don't know where my food is

Good more than an hour late. Finally arrived, tasted disgusting. Ordered a salami pizza, I couldn’t even tell you if that was even meat in my pizza. Won’t be ordering again. Pizza straight in the bin

To start of with this order was an absolute disgrace sending pizzas like this to a customer it was thrown together and the wife refused to eat any of it. I myself ate a few bits as I was hungry. I'm very disappointed and I know a 9 year old that makes better steak dinners than Pizzarellas food
