Thank you Charlene and hubby and lovely waitress for an amazing meal on Easter Sunday night for my relatives from England. The food was outstanding as always. As you know my sister Julie is never out of your restaurant as the food is divine. My relatives enjoyed your chat and will certainly be back again when they next visit. In fact they never stopped talking about the fab food and service the next day. Keep up the great work and everyone out there please visit. You won’t regret it. Christine

We called on a Thursday evening in January and were the only table in the restaurant. We chose the tandoori starter, followed by chicken tikka jalfrezi, lamb Punjabi masala, rice and naan. The kids opted for pizza and bolognese. All our meals were delicious and service was good however, it was rather expensive at around £90 for a family of a 4. They used to serve an early bird set menu which was much better value and would probably drum up more customers if this was reintroduced.

Just left here from having a meal and honestly I am appealed at the portion sizes! £17.95 for a curry with 6 small pieces of lamb in it! A portion of chips costs £3 that wouldn’t even have been enough to feed a child! Place was empty Upon arrival which probably explains it! Food was nice but not for the price we just paid! We have left still hungry and having to find something else to eat! £7 for 4 chicken wings!! We literally got handed a bowl of curry which you can see from the photos £40 for this amount of food is scandalous

Had one of the best if not the best Indians ever tonight. We often order online from mama masala and are absolutely blown away by how much better it is as a restaurant. Couldn’t recommend more highly!

Really disappointed in this restaurant. Ordered Chicken Madras with five small pieces of chicken. When I asked, I was told it was portion size. Two pizzas ordered and both saturated with grease.

The food was brilliant, no complaints whatsoever. The people working there were knowledgeable and very approachable. Would definitely go again as the quality of food for price is really good.

As a table of 17 (including 3 toddlers) celebrating a 30th birthday we really put all the staff to the test. The lady serving us could not do enough for us and every request was met with a smile. We were allowed into the restaurant earlier in the day to put up banners and balloons and they brought out our cake and sang happy birthday. The food was delicious, the portions were huge and we were all served at the same time without much of a wait. The italian dishes went down well with the kids in the group and they all cleaned their plates. Our bill was very reasonable for 17 people and I'd go as far as to say cheap in comparison to other local indian restaurants. I'd never tried this Indian previously but it'll be first choice on takeaway nights from now on. Monkfish Tikka Masala and Peshwari naan will be a regular order from me personally. I wish I'd caught the waitresses name because I'd love to credit her for being so welcoming and patient with us.

Our first time eating at Mama Masala and we will most definitely be back. We travelled up from Ballymena for shopping and decided to stop here for dinner. Wow, some of the best food I have tasted in a very long time. Such friendly staff and amazing food - what more could you ask for!

When I think of Indian Food, its always Mama Masala as my go to place. This is a family run business, with hard working people right from the Chef to the Floor Staff doing their best to give you splendid hospitality and customiseable experiences in food. The quality and quantity of food here is definitely value for buck. Poppadoms with Dips, Mama Masala Wings, Chilli Squid, Chicken 65, Paneer Tikka, Kadai Paneer, Garlic Naan, Mushroom Rice, Kheema Rice.

We have been here for a dinner with our extended family. If you’re looking for authentic Indian food..this is your place. Awesome staff welcome you with warm smile and the food was made just right for our Indian palate. My favourite was tandoori platter and chicken nagpuri. If you haven’t been here then you’re missing out big.

We came here for a family dinner. The food was absolutely delicious and the service by lovely people was fantastic. They tried to understand how we wanted the dishes and made it accordingly. An amazing authentic India restaurant. Would definitely recommend. The tandoori platter is a must try. Also like the balti chicken and rara gosh. Kids love the pizza ♥️

We held a surprise dinner party here for 22 people for my son's 18th birthday. The staff were lovely and the food was great. Everyone enjoyed their food and we all had a great night. We have gone to Mama Masala for the last few years as my husband and I love Indian food and our children love their pizzas. We have never had a bad experience or been disappointed with our food.

Been here a few times just but Staff were so lovely as always! There’s food for everyone, whether you love really spicy food or aren’t fond of too much spice, there’s something on the menu that you’ll like. Anything we needed the staff had us sorted before we even asked, definitely recommend and will be back!

Just back from a fantastic evening at mamamasla. I really can’t recommend this place enough. The staff were extremely helpful as one of my party was very fussy and the manager talked her through different options according to her tastes. She wasn’t disappointed with her choice. The chicken 65 and the special mix starter were so tasty. I particularly enjoyed the lamb saag. The flavours were amazing and the ingredients were so fresh. I’ve tried all the other Indian restaurants in glengormley and mama masala is definitely my favourite!

Amazing food and amazing service!

Just back home after another great meal in Mamma Masala. My wife had her usual Chicken Korma with pilau rice and I had the Chicken Dopiaza with nan. Both meals were delicious with plenty of chunks of chicken. We had some Kulfi ice cream for dessert which was new for us and was creamy and cooled us off a bit after the heat of the mains. We'll definitely be back.

Mamma Masala is the best Indian Restaurant and Take Away in Glengormley, hands down. The food is a mix of authentic Indian flavours, perfectly balanced with excellent quality ingredients. Service is attentive and friendly with beautiful decor and prompt delivery. An absolute must-visit!

If there was an option to give the food 6 stars I would have done so. Ordered a dish not on the menu and the chef came up with an amazing creation. The level of spice was perfect. I like spicy dishes and my wife likes a mild dish. Both spice levels were perfect. Staff are so friendly and you can tell it’s a family run establishment that values new customers.

After so long we got to taste an authentic Indian cuisine with a fusion twist!Right from the chilli chicken to the garlic chicken, butter chicken to squid fry..it was filled with flavours and the right spices! So glad we came across this location. Definitely coming back again! Well done you guys!! Keep up the authenticity!

This was my first time visiting this Indian restaurant. The food was amazing, and the portion size was very generous indeed and to top it all the staff were super friendly. A must try starter dish is the chicken 65 it was so delicious. I was also surprised it wasn’t just an Indian restaurant, it was Italian, which is great for families with children as it opens up the choices for them as most kids love pizza or pasta. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I order a delivery almost every week. Receptionist is friendly and efficient. Food is tasty, they include a free poppadom but no dip?? We usually order either chicken tikka massala, butter chicken or chicken rogan josh which invariably never contain sliced tomatoes???? Delivery drivers are polite and friendly.

My favourite Indian restaurant. First class service and food especially the butter chicken and their garlic naan bread its to die for the flavours mmm can't recommend enough. Their cocktails also deserve a special mention particularly their gin slushie 🙂

If you want authentic Indian food in Belfast, you can’t go wrong with Mama Masala. Kudos to Chef Amit - Appetizers were tasty, the main dishes were flavorful and the service was good excellent. While we did not try the italian dishes with an Indian twist, they sounded very creative. Excellent service as well - thank you, Shaleen!

I ordered a take away a chicken balti there were 3 pieces of chicken with a lot of liquid sauce red and green pepper Tarka daal was same thing a swimming pool with red and green pepper. Never seen pepper in any of these dishes I hope they serve better in restaurant. It’s not authentic cuisine at all. Avoid the take always because you can’t verify on spot and than it’s too late.

Had a really good dinner here for our first night in Northern Ireland! Paired lamb dopiaza and the butter chicken, both where tasty with the dopiaza being the favorite at the table. The butter chicken was also really good, just a little on the sweet side. Service was great and I’m really happy that we ended up here for dinner.

Hate to say this because I love here but the food tonight was shocking prawns were chewy and the sauce was pure water very disappointed

I have just visited for the second time for my sons birthday. My son is autistic and can get overstimulated at times. He had the best birthday! The environment is quiet and calm and the food is delicious. I would like to speak specifically about the lovely waitress who served us, the lady with the English accent, she was absolutely lovely and so very patient and friendly. Mama Masala is a wonderful restaurant. The food is fantastic and the staff are really lovely - smiling, friendly and helpful. Great variety of choice for vegetarians too. We had a meal here on a Sunday evening before heading to a performance in The Theatre at the Mill. So glad we chose this restaurant. Will use any excuse to go back.

It’s really fantastic place to dine in, Take out. I would say this is really authentic Indian and Italian food restaurant. The owner is superb, quick food serving, multiple cuisine must try pizza, tea, paneer tikka served with authentic indian chutney. Ambience is super nice, usually the restaurant have bookings but they can accommodate everyone.

Over from Manchester visiting family, my wife and I was took to this restaurant for a meal. Staff very polite and helpful, food was excellent with plentiful food per portion, big chunks of meat with plenty of rice. The price we felt was a great price for the quality of the food, I would definitely use again next time were over. Ps, they do an Italian menu too so plenty of choice to suit everyone.
