Lovely staff, nice food and very reasonably priced. But would love to see some vegan options added to the menu it would bring in a lot of business:)

Living in Australia I miss a really good pork sausage roll so I was looking forward to trying one from here after reading some great reviews. Unfortunately the one I tried was underwhelming. The filling while generous did not have a great flavour and the pastry was definitely underdone. Ah well. The cafe itself is a lovely wee space with a very cool coffee bag ceiling in the outdoor sitting area. Warm service but not my go to for a sausage roll.

Dropped in for tea, coffee & cake. All lovely & was a nice selection of not your usual things to eat. It was busy but the turn-around is quite quick so didn't wait long. Staff are really friendly, helpful & quick to clear & clean tables. Lively, happy atmosphere. Good food size portions.

Ordered a last minute customised birthday cake the day before it was needed and just as they closed and the service and quality was impeccable. I rung to see if they could do this first and the lady was very friendly and helpful despite the short notice. The cake turned out beautifully, the design team added the photo and text on in such a lovely way and it really made it so special. Thank you very much!!

So the portrush store doesnā€™t seem to be available on trip adviser having had a great experience in the ballymena store as locals we were delighted to find there is a portrush store unfortunately having visited today as a family of 4 whilst staff were very friendly the bill of Ā£19 was a little extortionate for one mocha frappe one americano two soft drinks and two tray bakes ( one of which was rock hard) would hesitate to visit again ā˜¹ļø

So excited to finally go here with my daughter but the experience wasn't what I expected. For the prices there is no table service you have to order at the till. I was not advised correctly when asking about the Spanish hot chocolate. It isn't a drink it comes in a bowl for dipping biscuits in. I specifically asked was it like a normal hot chocolate you could drink and was told yes. I ordered coffee and 2 savoury pancakes. Paying by card I was asked to select what tip I wanted to leave. Feeling like I had no option I left one. Then we waited on our food. I had to go and order tea after the "drinks" arrived as the Spanish hot chocolate is not a drink and leave another tip. We waited again and after 35 minutes of waiting I asked for a refund. To be told that the food order hadn't been sent to the kitchen. We didn't have time to wait any longer. When the refund was being done they didn't ask what of your tip you would like refunded. I don't mind paying for service but we didn't get any. Can't review the food as we didn't get any of that. Won't be back. Sometimes best to stick to the places you know.

Weā€™ve had takeaway a few times now and we ate in with my family (group of 9) the food is always delicious, so full of flavour. The restaurant inside is beautiful! Service was fantastic. Highly recommend. Definitely best Indian in Ballymena, possibly best restaurant too :)

Chocoa used to be the place to go for amazing hot chocolate in Ballymena, but it's really gone downhill recently. Before they closed the bistro, the quality had already started slipping. The service became sloppy, and the cosy vibe that made it special just wasn't there anymore. The hot chocolate itself, which used to be rich and delicious, became hit or missā€”sometimes too sweet, other times thin and bland. Now they've shut the doors and moved online, which honestly just feels like a letdown. Hot chocolate is something you want to enjoy in a nice, warm setting, not from a delivery box. It's sad to see a place that was once great lose its touch. If this is the direction they're heading in, itā€™s hard to get excited about what theyā€™re offering now.

Caramel squares big let down. Exp 03/06/20 this 16th May 2020 shortbread like a brick caramel not great. Very unimpressed. There was 3 squares had nearly a 1cm thick of caramel 1 had barely 4mm. Pending on how the food was handled after it left the bakery it tastes out of date.If it was good id say its good but its not.2 of the squares didnt have the top covered with chocolate. If i try again some time and its good i will give a great review.

When we arrived, the restaurant had no heating, and there was neither an explanation nor an offer to accommodate us elsewhere. My garlic mushroom starter had a burnt flavor, and my main course of turkey and ham was disappointingly bland, accompanied by a small amount of tasteless gravy. The chocolate brownie was overly dense, and the strawberries on my partner's pavlova were sliced so thinly they were barely noticeable. However, our server was exceptionally kind and attentive, which was the highlight of our visit.
