The best bacon and hash brown sandwich ever. Also, the coronation chicken salad boxes are amazing. Great value for money too.

An amazing find in delightful Pickering in a lovely quiet residential area a few minutes walk away from the Steam Railway and town centre. Warm welcome from our host. We had a lovely room overlooking the rear garden. It's a beautiful old building with nice high ceilings, and the room we had was fresh, light and contemporary. Everything was clean. The breakfast was excellent. Fruit salad was fresh. Kippers were on offer, and my partner had the full English which looked amazing. The sausages were gluten free from a local butcher, so intolerances can be catered for with notice. A delightful stay, and an absolute must when we return to the area.

Popped in for a quick one whilst on holiday for a few days . And ended up staying most of the afternoon. Great service,good selection of ales and beautiful pub.

We had lovely fish and chips & fish cakes and chips.😋 Reasonable price,friendly staff.

maybe an off day or new staff? Coffee completely undrinkable, I’m not a diva but this was truly horrid- surely coffee isn’t so difficult to do? Tables sticky, horrible smell of sewage. Truly the worst cafe experience. All I wanted was to come in out of the rain!!
