The best restaurants in City and Hunslet Leeds Yorkshire and The Humber

A mate of mine who lives in Leeds recommended this place... OMFG... recommendation of the century! Had a pitta with falafel, hummus, extra aubergine and pickles. Everything top drawer!! Shame it’s so messy or I’d be taking some back on the train home for the family

Visited this afternoon for a friend's 60th birthday. Food was out of this world. Kelly and her staff were lovely and couldn't do enough for us. My friend had commissioned a chocolate campervan made by the amazing Ashley, and you wouldn't believe the detail, the skill of that man. Thanks to all who made my friends' day the best she could of wished for x x we will definitely be returning. X

Not impressed. AT ALL! I paid an arm and a leg for a drink that took too long. It just took so long and the workers were stood there chatting as the queue grew larger. I am so unsatisfied, Jaku b really took his time with this drink and the whipped cream wasn't even whipped. No apology whatsoever. Clearly needs more training. I should have went to costa next door.

Have been going to this pub for years on and off but no more no longer competitive with other pubs local to this. £14.30 for 2 pints one a cheap guest ale and a single packet of crisps . Elsewhere under £10 for 2 pints of lager and craft. Also Christmas not a single Christmas ale on which they usually have on. Getting way over priced and the noise from the building work kills it Crisps ridiculous price

Really enjoyed the food nice what they've done with some containers you forget till your leaving very different to most restaurants I've been too would recommend if you like Italian prices are good

This is an excellent restaurant. The fine dining is exquisite with a wide variety of menus. The staff are extremely friendly and attentive. The overall ambience of the restaurant is amazing, and the playlists are always a varied delight. The various courses are fully explained as they are brought to the table, and if you're so inclined, the accompanying drinks pairing is designed to and does compliment each course.

Great, the price was really well suited and the food was great quality. The staff where friendly and everything was served really quick. For a small caff in the centre of a big city it has a real local vibe. I will be coming back on the reg.

Me encanta un Brewdog, la cerveza es genial y el personal es excelente. Cada vez que visitamos Leeds vamos por unas horas, ya que nos encanta el shuffleboard en el sótano. Esto suele ser de cortesía pero en nuestra última visita ahora han cobrado un cargo de £ 15 la hora, teniendo en cuenta que gastamos mucho en bebidas cuando allí me pareció un poco excesivo. Por mucho que me encanten las barras de brewdog, no volveré a la de Leeds, ya que es la tabla de shuffleboard que buscamos. Nos quedaremos en el centro y le echaremos de menos.

Enjoyable…but slightly confusing roast experience. We got the beef sharer (which was DELICIOUS) however, we paid extra to add on ‘all the trimmings’ which turned out to be 3 Yorkshire puddings and some roasties and some kind of onion jam type thing. They were nice…but would’ve expected some kind of veggies given that description. I LOVED the Bloody Mary offerings (Horseradish and Marmite) both were exceptional!

We’d booked a table @ 10pm arrived on time, went to bar. We were sown to a table and then the wait began....... Sat around for a while and eventually went to the bar ourselves. The place is very nicely decorated, and has a nice atmosphere. We asked about ordering food and was told the kitchen closes at 9pm, we then said can we order room service as we are staying at the hotel, to be told no that's not fair on everyone else in here. I have looked on all emails sent and not once have I seen that no food would be served after 9pm. Had 1 drink and left to find a local takeaway for a pizza!!!! A poor experience of what should/could have been a really good evening.

My favourite Kerela restaurant. Returning customers, good price, nice people, good service and most importantly the food is always cooked fresh and is delicious. Would highly recommend. Always cook it to my taste. See you again soon.
