The best restaurants in Dalton Kirklees Yorkshire and The Humber

Travelled up north from london for an event and stumbled upon this lovely cafe for Sunday breakfast. It was delicious. A basic breakfast and our plates were full. Very reasonably priced too.

Happened to be walking past and caught site of Langos store on Huddersfield Market, having developed a taste for them whilst in Budapest. Went for a large garlic Langos (for breakfast..), which was freshly made and very authentic. Owners very pleasant and good price at less than a fiver including a drink. Shall be back !

Top quality food cooked to order. My first time eating here after family recommended. We will definitely be here regularly as the quality of the food and service was exceptional and very good prices.

I had the full english. Friendly service, regular procession of local customers all of whom have a chat and a laugh with the staff. Good and filling food

Ordered fish and chips medium on Friday. The chips were under cooked and overly greasy. I there up straight away. Never coming here again

First time and won't be the last. Well prepared, very tasty and hot. Telephoned order and 25 minute collection time. Great staff and paid by card. Recommended

0 stars , ignore all reviews as this restaurant is newly opened and has only a few reviews since obviously from the staff . This is one of the worst takeaways I’ve ever ever had. Avoid

Very nice haddock but very disappointed with the chicken wings. Uncooked in the middle. Very off putting. Hopefully daughter will not get food poisoning...

I'm new to Huddersfield and was struggling to find something good, maybe got lucky with a first time hit but the food was amazing and staff was welcoming and friendly. I will definitely return and recommend anyone to try. The massaman curry was superbly rich and well seasoned.

The food is always amazing here - today did not disappoint. The restaurant was full and the staff were busy but the staff were super friendly and had smiles on their faces the whole time. Garcia is the coolest server around

The restaurant has now permanently closed as of 30/10/2023 apparently due to foreclosure on the property . We found this out once we arrived at the restaurant yesterday evening 12/11/2023. Ignore the fact you can still book online as we were also victim to this. Such a terrible shame as this was a fantastic restaurant.

The atmosphere was relaxing and the staff were friendly. However, I thought the main courses were very expensive considering the small portion sizes and whilst the food was OK it didn't have an amazing taste. I left hungry.

We went last night with a group of ten and it was lovely! Food was great and the service was fantastic. We will definitely be going back. Highly recommended by all of us who went.
