Manjaros in Kirklees

Thought the food was great. It’s BYO alcohol, my friend had a bottle of wine and they said there was a £3 corkage fee. There were 4 of us, they brought 4 glasses, one of us doesn’t like wine, but had just the tiniest taste. When we got the bill, they charged £3 EACH, £12 to drink our own wine. This really detracted from things. The service was a bit hit and miss too, they’d clear 2 people’s plates away, but wouldn’t come back to collect the other two’s til much later. Shame we had that experience, because the food was really nice

Went to manjaros with a few work colleagues to celebrate a special occasion with staff was really nice and welcoming the food was so nice definitely going again thank you to all the staff for making us all feel welcome and thank you for your service it was lovely the restaurant was very clean

Food arrived super quick and tasty as usual! The service staff were friendly and attentive.

We have drop by for dinner and tried the mini grill and mushroom mozzarella. Both were really nice. The mini grill was a bit spicy (from a person who cannot really eat spicy food) but it was still amazing. The mushroom Mozarella is a perfect choice if you cannot deal with spiciness. The restaurant itself is alright and stuff are friendly. Staff will try and suggest you something extra but they are often at a price, e.g. I thought salad will be included but it's £2. Overall I can recommend the place but it is a bit on a pricier end.

Ordered food, for some reason ordering food to be delivered Uber eats apparently takes 30 mins but ordering to collect is 70mins. When food finally hasn't been delivered the restaurant wants nothing to do with its customers. I would never order from again

Had a great experience at Manjaro in Huddersfield. I ordered the burger and chicken skewer, both were cooked perfectly and full of flavour. The burger was juicy with just the right amount of seasoning, and the chicken skewer was tender and well-marinated. The service was excellent too polite, friendly, and attentive throughout. Definitely a spot I’d recommend and will be visiting again

Visited Manjaros twice now everytime we come from Australia and every time the food the service is absolutely smashing! the creamy Caribbean pasta is my absolute favourite and goes down like a treat!! Definitely my favourite spot and a must visit

Came as a small group of 4 and the service was excellent from start to finish. The staff are so nice and helpful. Definitely must try the Parmesan (they have various different toppings) and the mix grill. The lamb chops are the best.

First time here chips were over cooked Parmesan was loaded with extra cheese and the flame grilled chicken was dry with loads a sauce all over it

Food was good: especially the halloum sticks, those were super delicious!! Portions were very big, could not even finish my main dish!😅 Affordable price. Very friendly, polite and sweet waiter, he was very helpful and seemed to care about their customers and restaurant.

As a tourist who came to Huddersfield on sunday and was hungry as f-k, we decided to test out Manjaros as it was the only one that was open and we were able to eat at the restaurant. At least what we saw 😅. The food was very nice and the portions were massive! Especially the chicken parmesan. The waiter we had serving us was very kind, polite, friendly and wanted to know if he could help us at any other way. If we ever come back here, this is definitely in our list to go back to!

The food tasted amazing, i have come to Manjaros several times and they never disappoint! The quality is always consistently 11/10. The customer service is brilliant too, happy & cheerful staff elevate the dining experience to a very high standard. I highly recommend trying the Rasta Pasta!

I had hot shot parmesan, Peri-Peri wings, pizza and some more food, food really tasty the one we ordered but they take a bit long to cook it.

The most despicable experience ever . The order was completely wrong and when I tried to call and speak to the restaurant. I was met with utmost hostility from the MANAGER AT THE HUDDERSFIELD BRANCH . He was extremely abrasive and argumentative on the phone . Basically possessed no communication skills that is required of a manager of a store. At one point he was shouting at me and then wouldn’t give me his name. The senior management need to take this into consideration and I will be writing to them in an official capacity

Service was good as were the starters, the mains were covered in sauce and was a bit overwhelming

Fantastic speedy delicious food.

Popped in on our way back from football on the off chance they’d have a table … we were the only ones in but didn’t feel uncomfortable like some places! I orders the original parmo and it’s one of the nicest I’ve ever had! Plenty of cheese & bech and the chicken was cooked beautifully! Husband had the creamy Caribbean lamb which smelt amazing and tasted just as good! Will definitely be coming back!

Manjaros has become our favourite place to eat when in Huddersfield. Attentive staff, clean restaurant and their whole menu is delicious. Deffo try their new desserts!
