The best restaurants in Crakehall Hambleton Yorkshire and The Humber

We’ve just had a fantastic dinner, bed and breakfast stay at the Buck Inn to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We live locally and have had many lovely meals there, but this was the first time we had stayed overnight. Our room was lovely - spotlessly clean, comfortable and beautifully appointed. Vicki is such a welcoming host it was a really special stay. Thanks to Vicki and the team and we’ll be back soon.

We have been to this pub twice in the last week and have been very satisfied with the staff as they are pleasant and friendly the food and beer was excellent and we would recommend to any one who ventures up this way

Nice little pub with a separate building next door with rooms. Slightly dated rooms but great for 2 nights. Big shout out to the amazing chef Derrick. He was really good and friendly. We visited his chocolate shop in Bedale. Gorgeous stuff. Overall we were happy but the pub needs an update

We were staying at Hunton on holiday and wanted a local cafe so that we didn’t have to drive too far, ‘The Nest’ did not disappoint. What an incredible location, really friendly staff and gorgeous scones. Given that my Mum made thousands of them when we had a restaurant (and hers were always delicious), she gave 10/10 for the cherry one and I’d give the same rating for my yummy cheese one. If you like scones, stunning views and cute animals, this is the place for you!

Friendly local pub, we revisited a couple of times while staying in Crakehall for the New Year’s holiday, we were returning after a few years. Friendly locals and landlord, great craic and laughter. The food, beers and service were again all first class. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.See you again soon.
