Amazing food, monkfish ceviche was sensational and all the food on the menu was gluten free

I just want to say the staff at this tea room did a wonderful job of organising at short notice a funeral wake and can't thank them enough for quality and service and would highly recommend the place for a nice lunch or even just a cup of tea.

Called in today for fish and chips and mushy peas and a breadcake. Absolutely gorgeous food and the two ladies serving were lovely aswell. Best chippy I've had for a very long time. Keep it up ladies and I'll definitely be calling in the next time I'm working in the area 👌👌👍👍

On a busy Saturday night, the service was slow, we started with sourdough and labneh & dukkha, then shared their rarebit on a flatbread with a nice sauce, that was the highlight. I followed with cod and monkfish with mussels, the fish was good but the mussels with it were cold. My wife chose lamb rump which was also cold and was undercooked. We cancelled a second booking.

A wonderful establishment in which old fashioned courtesy is matched with quality of produce. The moment you enter this tea room you are transported to an almost bygone age of a warm and cheerful ambience. Such a pleasure to see such a varied and thoughtful menu and enjoy . I opted for the mushroom soup and enjoyed every mouthful. The fare on offer is all home made with the accent on quality. Praise indeed to all of you.

A properly run and very welcoming village pub. It opens every day from noon, and that in itself gives it top marks! Slowly being returned to a more traditional internal decor which again is a very welcome move.

Haven't been here for many years, and it has changed hands, but just as good as ever. The small breakfast was very good and I'll come back soon.

Fairly quiet when I got there about 1030 on a Saturday. Very welcoming when asked for a table for one, no rushing at all whilst there. Had chai latte - nice flavour, would recommend and the eggs royale ( Benedict with smoked salmon). Really nice, very good hollandaise, eggs lovely and runny (maybe a bit of runny white if thats something that bothers).

El café sabe bien, el tamaño es demasiado pequeño para el precio que están pidiendo. El personal no escucha a sus clientes, en dos ocasiones he pedido mi café blanco plano sin espuma que ha venido con al menos 2 ins de espuma y casi nada de leche en la bebida!

What a find! Myself loving anything Greek, well this place was perfect was looking for a pre gig meal not to noisy or busy and good quality food well this place ticked all the boxes. Loved the fact that greek music was also being played they set the mood. Worth travelling again from Leicester one day soon

I found this business had flytipped their waste all over Norman park. (Letters addressed to here found) Should be ashamed of themselves. Showing such little care for the local area means they must be equally as negligent when it comes to business practise. Black bags, oil containers and old bits of kitchen all over the place. DISGUSTING.
