We went to a live music night outdoors, and reef and beef were there. We ordered scampi, salt and pepper squid and a fresh mackerel bap. All of them were cooked perfectly, good value portions and the mackerel was certainly fresh.
Would highly recommend any or all of these - thank you reef and beef! We can’t wait for the next time. Thanks 😊❤️
Grub Hub is an excellent family run sandwich bar. There are a few outside tables in a pleasant pedestrian alley. The couple running the cafe were very friendly and accommodating, being happy to make up sandwiches to order with whatever fillings we wanted. Although there are officially no toilets for customers, they were happy to let us use theirs.
Situated at the top end of Leamington, small cafe, road parking, has ramp for buggies and wheel chair access, Community owned and run as a not for profit business.
There was v cheerful lady running the cafe the day we visited, limited menu but we ate v tasty paninis, drank excellent cafe and it was all v reasonably priced. The cafe was full, all the food looked good and there was a v relaxed atmosphere.
This is a great find, I would recommend here and will revisit.
I stumbled across GG’S by accident and I was really impressed!
Tucked away within an industrial estate, you wouldn’t realise it was there. It’s in a great location as it is walking distance to some of Kenilworth’s most popular spots.
• Kenilworth Nature reserve • Crackley Woods • Kenilworth Greenway.
With not many options available for refreshments nearby I’ll definitely be visiting again.
GG’S is a horsebox converted into a cafe! It looks amazing with some outside seating, you wouldn’t think you were sat within an industrial estate.
I enjoyed a cappuccino and cheese & chutney panini which was delicious.
My dog was also treated to a puppuccino by the very nice lady who runs the Cafe.
They also sell cakes and other hot food.
A very nice place, the puccia caprese is delicious and the cappuccino was very good. I recommend this place to anyone looking for ambiance and comfort food.
We found a warm and friendly welcome with comfortable seating. We chose Eggs Royale for our lunch. They came with perfectly poached eggs, delicious Hollandaise sauce and tasty smoked salmon.
It was obvious that they have built up a faithful clientele with good food and friendly service.
Always a treat to come here, delicious cake and coffee. Big thank you for being so child friendly and opening the door when you see prams and pushchairs arrive. It’s much appreciated ❤️

Big Foodie here - as someone who is not usually the biggest fan of octopus I can tell you this was divine, cooked to perfection and was both delicious and tender. I personally had the lamb which was also cooked beautifully and the sauces on the side were excellent. Would have preferred a bit more explanation on what the sauces were but alas the taste made up for it.
Wine was v good, though although the waitress was very kind and helpful, her knowledge of the wines was lacking (not a problem but would have liked 2-3 she could have recommended) I’m not a wine nerd, though alas my family does own a wine shop so am partial to a good glass - but could have done with a little more direction as not too familiar with spanish wines.
The service otherwise was fantastic with lovely friendly faces and never felt neglected.
All round 4.5/5.
