My wife and i came across this restaurant by accident as we wanted something to eat before a show. We hadn't booked but were able to get a seat by the window. The interior we found a bit dated but the place was clean and the menu seemed very interesting. Its a blend between classic Indian with a Himalayan twist. I have to say that I could've eaten most things from the menu. As well as some recognisable favourites there were some more interesting dishes which sounded delicious. I asked the waitress for a recommendation as I was bemused by the choice. She recommended the Chicken 65 as a starter (I really don't know why it is called that) and i chose the Himalayan noodles as a main course (again with chicken). The first course arrived and was extremely colourful, hot and vibrant. The flavours and textures were amazing and absolutely delicious. I like chillies and for me it was perfectly balanced. My main course arrived and was equally impressive. I had asked for a medium to spicy dish whilst my wife had a more mild version. Both were perfect and again delicious. Portion sizes were generous and great value for money. One other notable point was the service. Throughout the meal were were attended by delightful young Indian ladies who were very attentive and extremely polite. They seemed very interested that we had chosen correctly and that the level of spice was acceptable to our palates. I would highly recommend trying this restaurant and if im on the area again i certainly will.

We had left eleven due to the poor food on our anniversary and arrived at Himalayan as it was down the road and we were hungry! What a shame the service was poor, the food was not the most flavoured and the decor seemed outdated. It was a shame it was our anniversary and was spoilt by 2 restaurants.
