Food was absolutely delicious. Only complaint is that I ordered way too much. Friendly staff.

Dreadful service average food. Will never go there again.

Absolutely fantastic service and food, have been coming for a couple of years and this is now our go to curry restaurant we have introduced a number of friends to it, they all love it, consistently excellent. Decor and the way the place is laid out is very classy, 100% recommend.

We have had a takeaway twice now from this place. On the 1st occasion we were send prawns that were really gone bad. We called and they did come out with another portion, however by then the hunger had passed. Last night we decided to give them another chance. I ordered the samosas as it specified no chilli as I have an allergy to chilli. At the 1st bite I realised it was loaded with chilli and I was ill all night. I did call, and they said sorry, next time we will give you a 50% discount. Thanks, but there certainly won't be a next time.

Book a table and enjoy. I've never had a bad experience there. Highly recommended.

When we arrived we were welcomed and seated straight away, very attentive, lovely well kept decor especially the downstairs, really great vibe. We were put upstairs where it was quiet which I liked and we were well attended to. It was a good pace as well, some indian restauramts can be real quick where you feel rushed but it was great The food was really really nice! I definatley recommend! A great find.

I have to say, this is by far the best Indian Restaurant I have ever been to! I was flabbergasted with their service from start to finish. We arrived 25 minutes early to find our table was already made for us. We were expecting to have to wait for our table with us arriving so early as this is normally the case in most restaurants. We were seated and given menu's. We were offered drinks immediately, the table starters arrived promptly and so did the mains shortly afterwards. The staff were well presented, polite and attentive. As soon as our drinks were down to a quarter of a glass, we were offered another drink. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding from start to finish. If you really want to please somebody, I would highly suggest you bring them here. This Restaurant is better than Tumeric Gold in Coventry. I will definitely be returning. Lovely restaurant and very comfortable. Majority of our party were happy with their choices. My vegetable biriyani was ok but have had better elsewhere. Cheese nan was very flat, not fluffy and where was the cheese? Good menu selection. Service was good and staff were helpful.

My first experience, nice venue, good service , nice food in the main, but! The nan bread option provided were small, not tasty and ridiculously overpriced given the poor quality provided. If your food is good it should be complemented by a decent quality nan. The nan provided looked and tasted like it came from a cheap discount store produced on mass. Visited last night, 24th July 24 to celebrate sons birthday and can't fault this place. From the initial welcome on entrance to the entire service throughout the evening, faultless. Inside decor is upto scratch with modern chic colours and furniture and fabrics, low ambient color lighting. Food was good, as Indian restaurant food goes and Cobra + Kingfisher on tap which was ok.

Ordered takeaway. 50 minutes waiting time. All dishes were bland and very sweet. Korma chicken dry and super grainy. Soggy roti. Garlic naan looks more like a flat bread. You can get much better option for the fraction of the price in Kenilworth. Won't be ordering again

I have not used this restaraunt for a long time due to change in work. So was a pleasure to go back last week. There were four of us and each dish was extremely well served and excellently spiced. From the starters to the main. Could not fault anything and boy the curries were tasty. I know now why I miss it so much

Good food, okay service but a bit expensive. I spent ~£20 for my main meal, side meal, naan and drink. The drink was especially expensive. The food was slightly colder then ideal but we did have a big group and I appreciate that keeping food warm for a big group can be tricky. It was about £20 per person.

This place never fails, we were here yesterday evening party of 6 , lovely table all prepared for us by the window, service and food top notch everyone really had a lovely evening, our only go to restaurant for a curry now they have everything perfect.

Excellent food quality. Extensive range of dishes. Friendly helpful staff providing good service. Spotlessly clean toilets.

Going on the reviews, I was expecting something special, I was disappointed. The food was a bit plain, it was almost as if they'd forgotten to add the spices, except for chilli. The meat was tough and chewy, and I like mutton more than lamb. The Bhindi Bhaji was OK but again the spice infusion was missing. Although it's obviously popular, I found it disappointing, it didn't live up to the hype. Having said all that, the staff are friendly and attentive, it's the food that lets the place down. I'd try somewhere else next time.

We took some friends here on Friday night. The service was great, as always. The food was delicious. Our friends had never been before but they will definitely be going back!

What a lovely 😍 place. The restaurant was nicely decorated and the toilets were well equipped and very clean 👌. Staff were very friendly and helpful could not fault them. The location is spot on, I have been here on a number of occasions, but unfortunately this time the food was very disappointing, hard chicken, bland flavours, flat/small peshwari nan with absolutely no filling and they were clearly rushing everyone to finish their meals by dumping the main literally on top of the starter, poor show won’t be encouraging the team to go again for xmas meal

Without a doubt best Indian restaurant in the area. I don’t bother ordering takeaway anymore because nothing hits like Indian Edge. Service always spot on, always a great welcome, food is never oily or heavy … always tastes super fresh. Other places might have won awards but this place is spot on!

Oh my goodness, this is top quality food, lovely place to eat and the Staff are so friendly.

Fantastic food. The heat level indicated on the menu is accurate, and none of ours dishes were overly sweet. All dishes we ordered tasted like they were made in-house. Just excellent Indian flavours all around. Some dishes we ordered we chicken jalfrezi, punjab makhni, chicken dakeshwari.

Me and my partner had a date night here and this was our first time at the restaurant. Busy Saturday night however, the service was faultless,staff were attentive and we did not wait long for our food at all. Food was delicious, fresh, hot, so much flavour. We had tandoori chicken and Samoas for starters with chicken dupiazia and lamb jalfrezi for mains! Perfect size portions and the naan breads were nice too We've decided that Indian Edge is our new favourite Indian restaurant. 100% will be back and recommending to friends and family

This restaurant never fails to be amazing. The service is second to none. The food is delicious and plentiful. Great value and fab atmosphere. We will always choose the Indian Edge over anywhere else in Kenilworth.

We were in town for a convention, and were recommended this place by the folks at the Ale Rooms. On entering, it was quite busy in the main restaurant, and we were ushered upstairs (we didn't have a reservation, but they were very accomodating). We were then quickly furnished with the requisite Cobra beers and poppadums along with the obligatory sauces (poppadums tasted more like they'd been made by Mr Patak though, especially the spicy ones). I like my curries on the warmer side, so opted for the lamb jalfrezi. It was tasty, but not overpoweringly hot, but I did find the lamb to be a little on the tough side. It was a good meal - not the best curry I've had though, but it certainly hit the spot and was good value for the price.

Had as a takeaway first time today, ingredients fresh and all dishes full of flavour, totally recommend.

I was visiting Kenilworth from Manchester, I hadn't made a booking but the restaurants was more than happy to accommodate my family of five. The service was outstanding. I really love going somewhere with great customer service and these guys have it. My children loved their garlic Naam and we liked our jalfreze. I was really impressed. The decor is lovely too. And I was surprised at how cheap the bill was and no service charge. If I ever visit Kenilworth again, I will be back

We travelled to 90miles here to visit Kenliworth Castle 27/08/23 tomorrow and decided to try this Indian restaurant.. all I can say is WOW.. The meal was absolutely delicious, you'd need to go along way to beat this restaurant. Myself and partner couldn't fine a single think to complain about . The staff and alot of them were amazing .. The boss was also a friendly helpful guy and made sure everything was running at its best ... 100% on everything.. well done guys, we will be back for sure 👍 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Saved us from the green man, even though we didn't have a booking they were more than helpful to accommodate. Staff were friendly and polite. Menu was extensive almost too much choice. Food was excellent

We stopped over at the Holiday Inn but went to drink at the Ale Rooms opposite, and although there's two Indians close by (Sunam and Le Raj) they recommended we pop further away to this place. I'm glad they did. It was quite full when we entered and we had no reservation, but they took us upstairs and got us seated with beers and poppadums quite quickly - I'm guessing the upstairs is an overspill area, but the crowd downstairs shows that this was a popular place. I opted for a Chilli & Lemon Chicken (number 47) not seeing the Razzella (75), thinking it a Chicken Lembu that I'd had before elsewhere. Although it had two chillies as a rating, I didn't find it over-spicy: the heat was just right and the citrus sourness brought another dimension to the meal. I shared a Mustard & Chilli Rice (144) plus a nan with a friend, which was just right - but my main came with a side order of plain pilau anyway, which I donated to my two other diners. Sadly, I didn't take any photos - we were hungry and the meal vanished pretty quickly!

We had a fantastic meal here on Sunday evening but what stood out was the chefs tasting platter, two wonderful curries to sample alongside all the accompaniments. Fantastic, we wish all indian restaurants offered this! Would highly recommend and the service was great 👍

Went there last Thursday after my Son's graduation. Arrived at 7pm, fully booked but we were given a table for 3* if quick. Under circumstances, never felt rushed, fantastic food, Naan undercooked as no brown dots, but would definitely return.

Lovely place with amazing food and great staff.

Was working in the area for a couple of years and used this place regularly. Service was always great, even moreso when I brought family along. Food was as always great. Never had to send anything back to the kitchen. Did become a bit pricey and was a bit ‘off’ to charge extra for ‘tikka’ and ‘extra spice’ adding to a dish but beyond that the food is worth the money. Hopefully I’ll be in and around the area in the future, undoubtedly visiting again.

This is our favourite place to eat in Kenilworth and beyond. We have never had a bad meal. The staff are friendly and welcoming too. Food is always delicious. Can recommend the Xacuti chicken.

Everything was perfect. Customer service was good, and I just felt really bloated after eating.

Had yet another awesome meal here with my partner, The Hydrabadi Lamb Biriani was so awesome served in an amazing way.. it was so so delicious and full of flavour... the staff gave us great service with a smile.. we will be back for more...

having frequented the Indian Edge many many times, this will always be my favourite Indian Restaurant. the food is always excellent, the service prompt and polite and the team is always focussed on making sure that you have a good time. This is well worth a visit again and again and again..... Matt is particularly good.

Great food and what service. Ali and Matt were excellent in serving us and made an effort to help my international guests who’d never had a curry in the UK. Why did I choose here? A local restauranteur friend recommended it, and trying to find an outstanding Indian restaurant in Birmingham easily on a Tuesday when your travelling with work is difficult. We had several dishes, the vindaloo was hot but tasty, as was the masala. My chicken Balti saag madras hot was excellent. Great wine and beer, lovely tables, and we had a booth that gave us lots of privacy. Faultless and can’t wait to return to such a great restaurant. Thank you.

Yet another outstanding takeaway rang up placed the order 30 minutes later Chicken Chasney , Chicken Tikka Pathia two portions of rice a vegetable side dish and naan ready to collect.Everything was perfectly cooked and super tasty. Can't wait for the Restaurant to reopen so we can go and eat inside at the Best Indian Restaurant in Kenilworth.

Always excellent service and the food is delightful. Definitely 5 star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ take away service is also very efficient and the quality of food remains the same high standards with home delivery.

Very poor take away biryani .... loads of tasteless rice .... which should have tasted of bay leaves coriander,sultanas spices and finished with flaked almonds..... accompanying sauce had big lumps of potato and broccoli and baby corn ... again tasteless! Very disappointing

This was so ever priced and bland very disappointing. Paid £40 for two mains a rice and a naan to takeaway. I should have saved my money! Most of it went in the bin 😢

We went here last month while visiting for the weekend and this Is the first chance I have had to leave a review. I must say this Indian restaurant is without doubt the best we have ever been to. We had a superb meal here and also felt totally safe with all the Covid 19 precautions that are in place here. They have thought of everything and I cannot praise the staff enough. I wish we lived in Kenilworth as we would be regular diners. We were looked after so well by. the excellent staff and the food is to die for. I highly recommend this restaurant and we will definitely be paying them a return visit next to me we are in the area.

We love the Indian Edge and are so lucky to have it within walking distance of home. The welcome we receive makes us feel like good friends. All staff are so attentive and happy to help in any way. We have been going there for many years and have enjoyed lots of wonderful food and happy times (especially the fantastic atmosphere of New Years Eve!)With regard to Covid-19 safety - so much effort has been made to ensure guests are safe. Hand sanitiser on entry/exit, staff all wearing appropriate masks or face coverings and gloves. Every step taken to avoid cross contamination. Tables are well distanced and screens installed where necessary. Even the menu and its pages are wiped down with sanitiser between customers. You will not feel at risk here.The food is absolutely delicious with some different fish dishes which make them stand out from ‘run of the mill’ Indian restaurants. Staff are always so helpful with choices if you’re struggling to make up your mind. In the recent testing times we have enjoyed their delivery take away service too. But so happy they are open for business again as the atmosphere in the restaurant is always great. We have previously had them cater for fairly large get togethers we have hosted at home too. They never fail to impress and nothing is compromised. If only I could cook like that!

We were staying locally so had researched restaurants and chose Indian Edge as we love Indian food and we were not disappointed.We received a great welcome, and shown to a table for two a the side of the restaurant which I had requested so they had paid attention to my request. Tables well spaced, screens also between some tables, all staff wearing gloves and masks and using hand sanitizer regularly, we were also asked to use the sanitizer on entering the restaurant.The menu had lots of choice and the staff were on hand for any recommendations if you couldn’t decide. The food was extremely tasty full of flavour served hot and given hot plates which I love. Great choice of wines and beers, lively atmosphere and attentive staff made for a fantastic night. Got to speak to one of the owners Matt who was very engaging and friendly and should be very proud of such a lovely eatery. Thanks to all the staff for a wonderful night will definitely visit again when in the area.

Service was good but food wasn't. Nan bread was flat and the size of a saucer. Lamb bhuna was really dry with very little sauce.

Great service, first time we came here after the lockdown, the place is not that big, but they have installed plastic dividers in between the tables which separate you from other visitors. Food is excellent as always.

My husband and I have just returned to our hotel (the Holiday Inn, Kenilworth) having had a wonderful meal at this restaurant with our 4 children tonight. We eat out regularly and are not difficult but objective. We know what we like and do not very often give a full five stars, however the food and service were faultless, thecrestaurant spotless, all accompanied by a wonderfully welcoming atmosphere. We had different drinks and pretty much all had different main meals also, eachbofbus loved our meal. Our children's ages range from 9 to 18 and all of us felt welcome, the service was quick and efficient, whilst not in any way rushed. We are from out of town but will certainly go out of our way to visit again... well done!!

Our first visit to one of the many Indian restaurants in Kenilworth and was not disappointed one bit. The atmosphere was fantastic with ambient lighting and enjoyable music, the tables were well spaced with plenty of room to enjoy social distancing whilst still feeling the atmosphere of a busy eatery. The service was friendly and attentive, with staff going above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction but the food...the food was first class, purely delicious cuisine that we will definitely be back for very soon! Portions were generous and fairly priced. I cannot recommend Indian Edge highly enough. I sincerely hope their weekend business resumes to normality soon as I would be very disappointed to see this place go. We took advantage of the Eat Out to Help Out scheme and visited on a Monday...it was at full capacity.

We visited this restaurant yesterday (Saturday night) and was very impressed. On arrival there was a hand sanitizing station which we were asked to use before being seated, all staff were wearing PPE and there was plenty of signs and also spacious seating to abide by COVID19 guidelines. The food was very nice and the service was very efficient. Would defiantly be visiting again!

We have visited here a few times and enjoyed it. Sadly in our opinion on a visit this week we were surprised and really disappointed. In general the food was not up to standard . My husband chose a dry dish with salad . The meat was fine but the salad consisted of 2 bits of tomato a slice of cucumber and a bit of lettuce looking worse for wear. Also we were concerned about the freshness of the meat in one dish. This was completely dismissed by the staff. With so many good better alternatives in Kenilworth and Balsall common we won’t be rushing back

I returned to the Edge on Tuesday and this was the first time I had eaten out since lockdown began. Matt and the team provided a warm welcome as ever but they were also very aware of their responsibilities in respect of customer safety. Great food, very attentive staff and despite the necessary changes, relaxed and enjoyable dining. Thank you.

My wife ( bless her ) gave me a birthday treat with two of our best friends, although COVID 19 restrictions are in place it has a very safe friendly atmosphere, the food is excellent as we have always found on our visits. Matt and Ali made the evening special by offering us a complementary drink and gave me a fantastic cobra glass. Would recommend a visit for any occasion.

For my birthday we dined at Indian Edge. We've been quite a few times and got a consistently good experience but this is our first one during the covid pandemic.The guys at Indian Edge not only made us feel comfortable and safe but served up the usual delicious delights as usual. This place remains a firm favourite of ours.

Great to be back in the Indian Edge Restaurent. Still the best place to eat out in Kenilworth. Yes it’s different to when we were here before lockdown but it has to be.......New social distancing rules are now being applied hand sanitisers readily available. Extra cleaning is the new normal, the front door is cleaned after everyone has touched it. There is no contact between the staff and customers. What hasn’t changed is the excellent quality of the food, the attention to detail and the friendliness of the management and the staff. Can’t wait to visit again.Come on Kenilworth support your local businesses.

Came here tonight 9/7/93 food was amazing and all staff were brilliant made are night really special cant of asked for it any better. Highly recommend this restaurant for couples or family really nice place 10/10 in every way
