This is the best place to eat in leamington. It’s an imaginative vegan menu which will appeal to vegans and non-vegans alike, such is the quality of the food on offer. I am not a vegan but this brilliant place has changed my attitude to meat-free eating. I eat here weekly and the food is delicious, seasonal and interesting. Cannot recommend more highly.

Stonemonkey is a place to practice yoga and meditate and has made a big difference to my life, particularly around the covid years. Digby is a warm and talented teacher with a genuine interest in helping you progress your practice, whatever your level of yoga. I've introduced friends here who equally love it - the friendly vibe from fellow students made a big difference. Looking forward to my session later!

The Stonemonkey Yoga Studio is a lovely place to complete my yoga session. The people and atmosphere are great and Digby is an excellent yoga teacher. I have learned so much about how breathing is so important and I always feel more grounded after my yoga class. Thankyou Digby and the Friday class people!xx

I have been practising yoga at Stonemonkey weekly for the past few years. I have also attended a few courses which I found extremely helpful . I have found Digby to be an inspiring and deeply motivating authentic teacher of ashtanga yoga who has changed my outlook on life. Classes are like one big family and everyone is welcomed warmly. It has given me an understanding of body and mind through asanas and meditation techniques. Digby has always given clear guidance and encouragement. I always leave feeling calmer and positive and look forward to the next class. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Stonemonkey Yoga to anybody from beginner to a regular Ashtangi.

Digby provides wonderfully clear instruction and guidance into the principles and practice of Ashtanga yoga. Classes are paced in such a way as to suit everyone including complete beginners, which I was 7 years ago. His authenticity means that classes are free of gimmicks and ego. They always offer a mix of energy and calm and an opportunity to reconnect with myself every week.

Have been visiting Digby at Stonemonkey for approx 10years - the classes have improved my quality of life, my posture & also helped my mental health at certain low points in my personal life. I always come away feeling renewed & positive - an all round beneficial experience. The other students are always welcoming & you never feel self conscious, even when I was new to the practice. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

I’ve been practicing yoga at Stonemonkey for over 8 years now and have always found the the classes (both led and Mysore-style) to be inclusive, and supportive. Digby is a kind and patient teacher, an authentic Ashtangi who teaches asanas, but also yoga philosophy, pranayama and meditation techniques. Can’t recommend this place highly enough!

I have been going to Stonemonkey yoga classes for 8 years, including online sessions throughout covid that kept me grounded and calm. Digby is a brilliant and knowledgable teacher and offers something different, a way of thinking about life through yoga that soothes the soul. I am a regular on a Friday and appreciate all the lovely people who go there. I wouldn't be without it!

The cafe had not opened when I visited (during Covid it had been closed), but the shala, a warm and inviting space downstairs, was still being used. The owner, Digby, is an Ashtangi through and through - and it's clear within seconds he has a very open and kind soul. I did a led practice, and really enjoyed it - as, I could see did his regulars. If you are in Leamington, I have no qualms about recommending Stonemonkey. I look forward to a return visit!

I forgot about this little gem until today!!!!! Omg I popped in for a takeaway starving moment and had a halloumi and houmus wrap I’m not veggie but love good veggie grub and this was GOOD, the chap was super friendly, the place is lovely and the freshly made right in front of your eyes was amazing, I was telling my daughter about it and sent her a pic and she asked “did you eat it all” ...I forget that This is an important factor as I cannot normally eat a whole meal of anything UNLESS it is AMAZING!!!! and yes I did, every last morsel, well done STONEMONKEY!! (Didn’t mean to have the chap in pic of the cafe but he was just there)

This is spitting distance from our house so I'm a regular. It's a very regular coffee but very occasional cake cafe for me. Both excellent. I don't know where they source their coffee from but it is certainly the best I have tasted and I love my coffee. Even the decaf is excellent, although I had to admit I do cringe a bit at paying 20p for the privilege! It seems a bit discrimatory to charge people more money for trying to be healthy! Strange but I pay it anyway. I really recommend it.

We were visiting the top of town when it started to rain so decided it was a perfect excuse to stop for an early lunch. A friend had recommend stonemonkey a while back so thought we would do a little trek to give it a try rather than the usual town centre haunts. We are so glad that we did. It was a great first impression which didn't fail to live up to the recommendation. The gentleman behind the counter provided a friendly welcome and showed us to a empty table. The amount of choice on the menu is perfect. All the food on the menu sounds delicious so it was difficult to decide but we went for the wrap. It was delicious - tasted really fresh. We were glad we continued to walk in the rain a little further to be able to experience this great find. All the food is vegetarian but tastes wholesome and full of flavour. The decor is relaxed and a great concept with the yoga studio downstairs. This cafe is definitely worth a visit and not just for vegetarians ! Looking forward to our next visit.

There's a point in your day when you need to just move away from the noise of the afternoon. I'd already worked in two local independents during the morning but felt I needed to move on to a different atmosphere. Whilst looking for a yoga studio I came across Stonemonkey. Unfortunately the timings didn't work out for a class so met up with friends for coffee & a cheeky piece of chocolate cake. Great find for quieting the monkey mind.

Weird decor with a queer smell from something bubbling away in the corner. This place is aimed at aging and new age hippies with no sense of taste. Was served by a staff member that was basically naked apart from a small loincloth and a large medallion.

I love coming to Stone Monkey for the excellent coffee, friendly service, and relaxed atmosphere. At quieter times it's an ideal place to just sit with a book and pot of tea, but it's also a great choice to meet friends for a healthy brunch or lunch. The menu is full of fresh, homemade, healthy vegetarian food - falafel wraps, salads, curries and soups - and the cakes and brownies are always popular. Chocolate and pecan seems to be a particular winner (it's not all green juices and smoothies)!A down to earth gem away from the hustle and bustle of the main shopping areas of town, and definitely worth a visit.

Working around the Leamington and Warwick areas, I would frequently pass by the Stonemonkey while on my way to the next job. I finally decided to park up and stop in and did not regret it. The staff were quick, efficient, and friendly. Usually I've never been one for vegetarian food, but I can't deny the menu was very impressive, and one I would recommend for all comers, vegetarian or not. If you happen to have kids to drop off at the nearby primary or secondary schools, this is a perfect spot to stop in and have a relaxed cuppa.

Just a couple of minutes walk from The Parade, Stonemonkey sits at the end of a short row of shops with flats above. The ?1960s? building is set back from the road behind a small wall, which allows it to have a couple of tables outside, protected from the elements by a concrete canopy. There is free onstreet parking just outside, I have never seen it completely full whenever I have passed, and plentiful bikeracks too.Decor has a cosy feel despite the large east-facing window; with dark walls, plenty of regularly-changing pictures upon them, scrubbed wooden tables and a variety of comfortable wooden chairs and painted pews, and a pile of books and magazines on a table for customer use (plus a newsagent next door if you want a paper). Music is played at a low volume, sounded like salsa/rumba/samba-style this time. The menu is written on several blackboards above the kitchen area - order and pay at the counter, food and drinks will then be served to your table. Staff are friendly and efficient. The blackboard outside states that the coffee is Southern Italian; cost is £2 - £2.40. Tea is £1.70, several types on offer. We had samosas with salad and three chutneys (£4.50) and a brie and grape panini with chilli jam and side salad (also £4.50). Dishes range from £4.50 to £8.75. The menu is broadly but not completely vegetarian, it includes mackerel and tuna dishes. It's also delicious! We've eaten here several times now, had something different every time and everything we've had has been great. Lovely homemade scones and cakes too.All round, an café with inexpensive tasty food that you feel comfortable to linger in.

lovely little Cafe- really busy and two staff rushed off their feet on a busy Bank Holiday afternoon. Short staffed resulted in tables not being cleared fast enough and putting off new customers who looked aghast at all the outside tables waiting to be cleared. Not a great look to bring in customers-on a busy Bank Holiday surely a young extra pair of hands could have been roped in to avoid this sorry sight. Cake lovely and tea wonderful- we will go back-when the tables are cleared more quickly!
