You receive a very warm welcome. There is a good range of offerings on the menu including plant based and they can meet the needs of a range of people with dietary needs. The food is superb cooked beautifully and very nicely presented. Plenty of space between the tables and spotlessly clean. The cafe is very nicely decorated and has a nice ambiance the food is very reasonably priced there is a large car park and you can wander around the lovely garden centre that again offers some lovely items again at very reasonable prices. Certainly highly recommended we will return soon.

We had a birthday afternoon tea here and thoroughly enjoyed it. Being February and miserable weather, we had the place to ourselves but the staff had gone to a lot of effort - decorating the birthday girl's table with birthday confetti. Nice and cosy inside. The food was very good - nice selection of sandwiches - what I would call sensible fillings like cheese and chutney, ham and tomato, tuna mayo, and egg. Our only comment would be to include a few more of the tuna and egg ones as there were quite a few of the ham and tomato which for our group was the least popular flavour. A selection of four different cakes - carrot, victoria sponge, chocolate and a very good syrupy flapjack. Small pieces but we liked that as you could have a bit of everything without feeling like you were going to explode! Very fresh and tasty. Finally cream scones - and yay - proper clotted cream! My son has a lot of allergies so chose a baked potato off the main menu. The staff were very helpful at the booking stage sorting out his meal and he enjoyed it. Am sure it must be lovely in summer time with all the plants and being able to sit outside - will definitely come back again.

We had a wonderful experience at The Croft in Beaconsfield. I ordered the mushroom stroganoff, which was beautifully cooked—creamy, full of flavour, and served with perfectly cooked rice. The mushrooms were fresh and well-seasoned, and the dish had just the right balance of richness and spice. The portion size was generous without being overwhelming, and it felt like great value for the quality. The staff really stood out—warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly from the moment we walked in. They made us feel very welcome and checked in just the right amount to make sure we were enjoying everything. The location is another highlight. Set in the scenic countryside of Beaconsfield, The Croft has a peaceful, charming atmosphere with lovely views that add to the dining experience—ideal for a relaxed lunch or dinner away from the bustle. All in all, The Croft is a gem—great food, fantastic service, and a beautiful setting. We’ll definitely be returning!

Fab...u...lous. Has to be the best fish & chips ever. Some have good fish, others chips, rarely both together and at today's prices, pretty good value for money. The service was quick and friendly and the food was hot. The lady serving is unflappable, naturally friendly and a great sense of humour.

For some reason the atmosphere of this place has changed, in fact it has none! We went for Sunday lunch and it was very, very average. The staff were pleasant enough but the majority were very young girls that seemed to be wandering around aimlessly. We didn’t have a regular waitress it was more ‘whose eye we could catch!’. One of my absolute pet hates is when a roast is ordered the meat is piled on top of the roast potatoes and the plate arrives swimming in gravy. Roast potatoes should be crisp and fluffy and they end up soggy and wet. My friend had the roast pork and it was dry and tough. The Yorkshire pudding was over cooked and looked like it had been to Benidorm for two weeks. I had the Salmon Supreme but it arrived with pasta salad, rice salad, potato salad, house salad, two sprigs of asparagus and a half doorstep of bread and butter. Most odd. It would have been lovely with new potatoes and green salad or asparagus. Somehow the whole meal just missed the mark. Not sure that we will be returning anytime soon.
