The best restaurants in Bilton Rugby West Midlands

Order was only about 5-10 mins late, one of the containers had leaked. But food was hot. Sadly, the BBQ ribs were very disappointing, very chewy and the meat was dry. ☹️ the other dishes were so-so. Based on tonight I wouldn’t recommend.

Popped in for a quick pint on a Saturday afternoon. It was my local about 35 years ago. It still has two rooms, lounge and bar style. It modernised, but still retains it's local pub cosy charm. The bar staff were very nice and friendly. It has a big screen for sports in the lounge, with dart boards. I didn't go in the bar side. It used to have skittles, pool, jukebox etc Prices were good too. Will be back at Christmas 👍🏻

We visited on Saturday and all ordered giant pigs in blankets in a yorkshire pudding! What we got was a flat hard square of batter, a slab of mash with 3 overcooked sausages on top. When I asked the manager what had happened to the yorkshire, he replied “ that’s how it comes in” Realising they don’t actually cook it on the premises just heat it up, made me think the potato was probably cut out of a packet and plonked on top of the yorkshire flatbread. Potato should be light and fluffy, this was solid stodge. Never again.

Just want to give a big shout out and thumbs up to Lisa and her team at The Black Horse Bilton in Rugby, me and my Husband have eaten here on numerous occasions and have found the food drinks and staff great every time and would not hesitate in eating there again made to welcome every time

Using Happy Valley for the first time in about 5 years. The food very poor. The £10 mixed starter was rubbish and very small. Three different dishes which are normally very different all had some sort of vinegary watered down sweet and sour sauce. The chow mein was very bland. I will not be returning.
