Waited 2 hours for delivery. Food was cold,watery and tasteless. Not worth the money paid. Excuse when called was that they were under new management. Extremely disappointing

This takeaway normally serves the best Indian food but on this occasion was so disappointing. The food tasted bland and the Parata was burnt and tasted awful. Rang takeaway restaurant and they apologiesxandcwould give a free parata next time. On a positive side, the onion Bhaji's are the best I have ever tasted

This has got to be the worst place I've eaten in years! The place is a proper joke, I don't get how it is still trading. Waited nearly 2 hours for my food to come, after about an hour and a bit I phoned to see the progress as I started to get worried. I was then passed to the manager who was abusive as soon as he got on the phone, swearing at me and offering to 'meet up' with me to punch my lights out all over a curry. Never seen anything like it in my life, I would rather starve then eat here again!

First time trying these and we were extremely impressed. was absolutely delicious, requested my curry in notes if could be made alittle less spicy and they did this for me which was much appreciated, everything was enjoyed. Two currys were tasty, rice was lovely, the breads were lovely and the free onion bhajis were very tasty. Highly recommended,definitely found our new curry house 😋

Ordered at 18:35, Order was due to arrive at 19:15, arrived 20:10, tried texting for an update through just eat, no response, I called the restaurant at 19:55 and was told it will be there in 10 mins, with no apology or explanation as to why it was so late. Food was nice however this is the 3rd time it was a lot later delivered than advised.

was late. refused to refund any money. was delayed 10 minutes, then another 10 min minutes and then another 30 minutes after that. was ridiculous as planned dinner to fit on with plans but in the end had to keep it warm for over an hour after delivery

First time we've ordered from here- found the spice descriptions slightly milder than what I've come to expect from other places, however, lovely and well balanced flavours that are a taste sensation!

The food is usually great although the delivery is always always late. It is shameful that the owner thinks it is funny when people give him a bad review, see google and Just Eat reviews for his unacceptable response when customers leave a comment he doesnt like!

Order was late. Food wasn’t great. Tandoori was so salty couldn’t finish it. The nann breads were rubbery and the whole lot was lukewarm. Won’t be ordering again. Staff very friendly though and the delivery driver was lovely. Just awful food.

Ordered on Just Eat and confirmed at 18.15. Had an acknowledgment then a confirmation that the order way on the way at 7pm. By 19.35 it had not arrived so I called to question where it was. I was told the driver had multiple deliveries and would be with me.. I was concerned the food would be cold on arrival so having previously used Curry Cottage on ‘many occasions I asked to speak to the manager. He came on the phone with an incredibly aggressive attitude and said I had been disrespectful to his member of staff. If stating that knowing the owner was not the lad I was talking to was not the owner and requesting to speak to him is disrespectful then yes but I don’t believe so. He simply cancelled my order and told me I wasn’t getting any dinner an hour and 45 minutes after ordering. More fool him as he has now lost a regular customer and what’s more he has wasted food riding around in a vehicle somewhere!

Over an hour late. Est delivery time 19:15-19:35. Food arrived at 20:30. Food was ok and hot so no complaints there.

Always late!!! Great food but cannot be replied upon to deliver in a timely manner. If you have a choice order elsewhere. Manager becomes aggressive when you can after waiting 30 minutes after notification it is on the way. Said I was disrespectful to his staff member but simply stated he wasn’t the owner and I wanted to speak to the owner! His resolution? Spite me by cancelling my food 90 minutes after ordering it….. really very poor and such a shame as have ordered many many times and y

Wow, lovely soft tasty chicken in the balti. Well presented pilau and chutneys with crunchy poppadoms. Fresh naan and dahl all delivered hot by friendly driver. Definitely be ordering again.

My first time using Curry Cottage and was very impressed with the quality and quantity of food delivered, possibly the best Indian takeaway I have had for some time.

If I could give 0 stars I would. My wife nearly choked on some metal and when questioned about it twice they hung up on us both times. DO NOT USE

Good prices & quick delivery, but the food itself wasn't that amazing. Chicken was chewy and the korma sauce was a bit bland.

Food unfortunately was late ,cold . missing 1x mushroom fried rice and was given 2x chilli cheese nans instead of 1 x chilli cheese nan and 1 cheese & onion nan

The garlic naan we ordered was inedible. It smelt and tasted like it had been coated in dust! Curry was flavourless Meat samosas were actually OK! Will not be ordering again!

Was pleasantly surprised that the food came early and was nice and hot. Was hesitant to order from here as the last handful of times I have been really disappointed but I really enjoyed the food and the service.

I ordered a lamb deshi after reading the description on the menu, this dish was bland and watery, nothing like the menu stated, also ordered a mushroom saag, the mushrooms were rubbery similar to tinned mushrooms. I have ordered from curry cottage many times but this time it fell way below the mark

We didn’t visit we got a takeaway . It arrived 2 hours late… staff were rude and cut us off on the phone - 90 pounds worth of food. When it arrived it was worse than average and there were items missing. Frankly they are a mess. We only eat out once a week and I look forward to a break from cooking but I could have cooked a much better curry myself at a fraction of the cost without the stress.

Not sure whats happened to curry cottage. Last 2 times forced to order online having knocked on there Bilton takaway door. Now online only but still on the highstreet. Very strange. Food is ok but no free items like the takaway pickup plus now a delivery charge. Still our fav. But something not right that its now online only.

Ordered Dal makhani and got tarka Dal. And then on phone being told Dal makhani is same as tadka. Overall mediocre

Food always looks and tastes great and we order regularly my only quibble is its not as hot on arrival as we'd like and have to warm everything up.

Been using curry cottage for a while now I work in birmingham so after a long day at work curry cottage never disapoints. Food is always spot on. Foods always piping hot. My favourite lamb pathia with potatoes and keema rice. Keep up the hard work lads.
