Great family friendly pub with free pool ,darts and big screens showing all the sports .. music is great and if you don’t like it he’ll put whatever you want on. Alex and his team are always happy to see you very obliging .. now to the food. Wow !!! From the big mixed grill platters to the curries the different types of chips … not forgetting the best naan breads ever .. Truly amazing.. Real homemade fresh authentic cooking from chef Jassi … we’ve been numerous times and tried lots of different things from his great menu and it’s all been absolutely fantastic ! Seriously can’t recommend it enough you won’t be disappointed get yourselves in there … Chef Jassi and his team are truly great thankyou !!

This was a fantastic takeaway until tonight when I had a cremated pizza delivered. It was replaced but the replacement was just nasty and stodgy. Just found out somebody else has taken it over so makes sense I guess. Miss the original owners never had a bad meal from them. Shame. On the hunt again now for a decent takeaway.

The vintage tea rooms are beautiful and the food was delicious. Fresh sandwiches where you could chose your filings and the cakes are scrumptious. The staff are very accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. If you are an afternoon tea lover you will fall in love with this place.

Freshly cooked fish! Brilliant service, worth the wait! Everyone is friendly, always greeted with a smile, won't go anywhere else for fish and chips and extras 😅🙈

Good experience however, my meal was a little on the cool side although my husbands was hot.. Food quality was good for a Sunday roast .. Shame about service at tables going and having to use an app ... Coffee machine needs looking at as coffee could be better and alot of the time is on the blink ..

Like to close for two weeks at a time with no notice

Very clean and tidy pub. Great and friendly service. Great choices on the mon- fri two courses lunchtime meals. £9.99, what not to like! We all enjoyed our selected mains - fish chips and peas; ham two eggs and chips ; veggie lasagne and salad and garlic bread. Hot, tasty and thoroughly enjoyed! Will def visit again ! Thank you.

Beautiful little pub next to the canal , 1st time I even popped in but it was warm clean and staff were very friendly and welcoming, will be going back x thank you
