The vintage tea rooms are beautiful and the food was delicious. Fresh sandwiches where you could chose your filings and the cakes are scrumptious. The staff are very accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. If you are an afternoon tea lover you will fall in love with this place.

Fresh home made produce and great value for money. The best afternoon tea I’ve tasted, with excellent service in a beautiful location. I would highly recommend and I’m looking forward to returning for more sweet treats.

Visited the tearooms for cake-away. Excellent homemade cakes, mega friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere. Have also experienced afternoon tea at the tearoom which was superb. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a traditional afternoon tea experience

The owner is just rude and absolutely lacks any customer service what so ever. Haven’t enjoyed my experience at all, the atmosphere is awful. The woman trying to pull off the 1940s look is jsut so rude…we arrived at 20 to 12 and told we were welcome to go away and come back when they opened??? What on earth is that a response to anyone. So we did then the same old thing hounded to take a seat and not allowed to walk around and look at the cakes. You watched at your table as if to say are you going yet or are you wanting to spend more money. Won’t be back dreadful woman shouldn’t work with the public

7 of us went for a family afternoon tea, prebooked. Between us we ordered every type of afternoon tea, including the Gluten Free. Everyone had nothing but compliments for their food. We especially liked how you could choose your sandwich fillings. The cakes and scones were delicious! A lovely lady serving us, called Emma, was very welcoming and couldn’t do enough to help us, offering to warm up scones and cakes, and offering more cream etc. We particularly like how you can choose any type of drink with your afternoon tea. The tearoom itself is so beautifully decorated, it makes you feel very relaxed! Would highly recommend. My 6 year old niece ordered off the normal menu too which had lots of choice!

Great venue for afternoon tea lovers. Took my wife here for her birthday. Wow! My wife went for Pure Indulgence and I went for the Savoury. Both were excellent and one of the first times I’ve been full from an afternoon tea. My wife and I are from a hospitality background, and we have sampled multiple afternoon teas around London & the midlands. I can safely say one of the best afternoon teas we have ever had. Only thing better than the food was the staff. Loved it!!!

Disappointed. My mum and her two friends have been on a number of occasions. Unfortunately on both occasions when I have tried to book they do not take bookings over the phone even when I say that I will pop up and take the food list and pay a deposit. They always say to book on line and message. Both times I did this and no one got back to me so I ended up ringing and she eventually booked me over the phone. Tried again today to book for tomorrow and it was 'sorry you need to message, they are ploughing through them now'. What is the point as they didn't get back to me last time. They do not open on a Monday/Tuesday and do not deal with messages. It is unfortunate as my mum is now going somewhere else as it is always a nightmare booking.

Five stars! This is a wonderful place! The staff were fantastic and very accommodating with our baby shower party! Staff always checked in and made sure very guest was comfortable. No matter how many photos I asked to be taken of us they smiled and did as we asked. Drinks were brought to our table so we didn’t have to get up. The decorations and attention to detail was more than what we asked for! The ladies here well and truly out did themselves for us. 100% would recommend going to visit the tearoom! For us all to have a group photo the lady even moved furniture around got provided a bench for all our shorter guests. If you’re looking for a place we’re the staff go above and beyond for all your needs this is your place! We had a fantastic day and this venue made it better. Thank you so much vintage tearoom! All I can say is wow and what a find! We visited this lovely tea room for the first time and it certainly won’t be the last! The food was amazing with really large cake size portions and lovely sandwiches on soft granary bread. The Staff were lovely, the tea room very clean and nicely decorated and all set in lovely grounds. The owner even gave us some tips to help our young daughter with her baking! If you’re looking for a tea room then I would highly recommend visiting this gem!

If you want delicious cakes, amazing afternoon teas or just a sandwich or panini, in lovely vintage inspired surroundings, then this is the place for you. Different cakes & slices each week, some a bit different but always fresh & delicious. Best to book especially at a weekend. Staff are always lovely and welcoming. Due to food being fresh you can sometimes have a little wait, but to be honest it’s worth it. Great for birthday groups or a baby shower.

Have been here before when my nan was in the care home next door but hadnt tried the afternoon tea until recently when I came with friends ....and what can I say apart from WOW! As there was a few of us with allergies we and different tastes we tried dairy free (vegan), gluten free, standard, chocolate and little tea. All looked amazing and everyone said they were so tasty and filling. I think the majority took cake home as we couldn't finish it all.

Attended a hen party at the vintage Tearoom and there were about 20 of us. The location and the room was beautifully made out but unfortunately the food did let it down slightly, nothing homemade only the sandwiches which we didn’t get to choose so had 4 meat ones even though we don’t eat meat!!! It was nothing really special for a pricey £20 or more per person - not inclusive of extra drinks (your only allowed the first drink as part of the package) which is strange as we are always going to afternoon tea with family and friends and this is the first time only one drink has been allowed!!!

Excellent service and lovely ambiance. Good selection of fillings for sandwiches and fab cakes. Was very disappointed with the scones as they were so obviously not home made. Not what you would expect in a Tea Room. Hence the 4 stars. :(

Booked a Traditional Afternoon Tea as a treat for my mom - Kelly was so friendly and helpful when taking the booking. The tea room is so beautifully decorated and in a lovely location. The afternoon tea was delicious - all sandwiches were so fresh and tasty, good selection of cakes and lovely scones with jam and clotted cream. The prices are so reasonable for the quality of everything - We will be returning again soon thank you!

What a wonderful hidden gem, I came across today. Visited with a friend for my birthday for a spot of lunch. By the sounds of it we were lucky to get a table free table, it's clear that it is well spoken off and is popular through word of mouth, which to me speaks volumes. We had a lovely wrap, which came with a lovely fresh salad and tortilla chips. Teamed with a lovely pot of tea it made for a very tasty lunch. The cakes were too much of a temptation to resist, so we treated ourselves to a slice of the toffee apple crumble cake, which they warmed up and came with some pouring cream, delicious is an understatement! We left very happy with full tummies!

Amazing place, we came for a baby shower and all had afternoon tea, everyone had commented on how well organised it was. From the start when we booked the party, through to the day. Considering there were 30 of us you looked after our every need! Service was excellent and the food was top notch as always. Lovely location would recommend highly to anyone considering a visit.

Myself and a friend visited the tearoom after discovering it was just around the corner! We both had tuna mayo panini's with crisps, salad and a pot of tea, all of which were really tasty and affordable!

I love this place! Kelly and her staff are amazing and always there with a smile and ready to assist! There is always so much choice on the counter of amazing cakes to suit everyones taste buds! To avoid disappointment of not being able to get a table, I recommend to book in advance!

Visited with friends and had afternoon tea. Food, staff and venue were excellent. The group required both gluten and dairy free options, these looked (and I’m told) tasted as good as the afternoon tea. They commented on the choice, stating that this amount of choice was exceptional. The staff couldn’t do enough for you!! Excellent experience. You should visit!!!

Visited for the first time with my husband and we had toasted sandwiches, which were very nice, we plan to bring the family here over the holiday for a lunch. My only criticism was the menu was on the blackboard so you had to get up to look what you wanted it would have been nice to have a menu on the table which is a lot more convenient.

We researched this place on fbook and planned our visit. I checked they were open in the morning and took my family there. On arrival the whole place was empty with loads of staff standing around. I was asked if we had booked and I said ‘no’ and she said sorry were booked out today - it’ll kick off in a Minute! I asked if they could just fit us (4) in for a quick cup of tea as we’d travelled to get there and she said no. Absolutely appalling! No apology - nothing I then had to take my children out into the rain and find somewhere else. Will not be returning. Advice I would give is book a table to avoid disappointment- or even just don’t visit here - think they’ve got a bit big for their boots. It’s a cafe where they serve tea and cakes - not a Michelin started restaurant!!

I've been to the Vintage Tearoom twice now, once for a unicorn themed afternoon tea last Summer and then again for a breakfast afternoon tea over Easter, and with both visits I have fallen in love with the tearoom even more! The decor is so beautiful, the staff are attentive, helpful and friendly and the food is plentiful and delicious. What more could you ask for! The atmosphere in the tearoom is a lovely and relaxed one too, and the takeaway cakes and sweet treats were delicious too. Already can't wait to go back to the tearoom hopefully soon! The grounds are beautiful too to walk in after you eat there, and I think especially in the summer will be lovely for eating outside.

Visited here with my wife Glenys to celebrate her birthday with a cast of family members, including children, their partners and grand children.We ordered in advance and was not disappointed. Everything we had asked for was ready for us, and it was excellent. The service was friendly but not too overpowering. Afterwards the grandchildren played together whilst we enjoyed some early spring air. All round a very pleasant expaerience.

Visited with a large group of friends and colleagues for an afternoon tea. Fantastic sandwiches and desserts! Couldn’t eat it all, but luckily we were provided with a small box so that we could take the remaining desserts home. Staff were amazing and I will definitely be returning.

We come in here regularly for lunch. The staff are great. They even created a vegan special for my colleague. The food is always lovely—really fresh.

Came with friends, the place and surroundings were beautiful, the staff were very helpful and attentive. There were proper China tpots and cups. The sandwiches were fresh and really tasty. However, the cakes I was disappointed with! The scones were dry, the lemon drizzle was presented lovely but was not very lemony and a bit dry and stodgy, the Raspberry turnover, I am not sure whether it was supposed to have cream in but there wasn’t any and there was about half a teaspoon of jam. The millionnaires shortbread in the shot glass, after trying to get your spoon through the chocolate it was all a bit sickly with the thick caramel and just biscuit crumbs underneath. I felt it was overpriced. I only enjoyed my sandwiches and the company.

My wife and I have been to this tea room a good half dozen times now and have been impressed every time. The staff are very enthuisastic about their wares and the location is peaceful but still easy to get to - a ten minute walk from the Rugeley to Armitage road or a short drive with parking directly outside.

We’ve just had the most amazing Christmas afternoon tea at this venue! The sandwiches are all freshly made with plenty of filling and the cakes delightful.

I rarely leave reviews however, Hubby and I visited this lovely vintage tea room, set in a lovely calming atmosphere, where nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The festive afternoon tea was lovely and very filling!!, we were provided with boxes to take the cakes away to finish. I would like to say a big heartfelt thank you to the honest visitor to the tea room who found my rings that I'd left in the bathroom and kindly handed them in to staff. I am also very very grateful to the honest staff who kept them secure and safe and responded to me promptly. Thank you again all so much

The tea room is situated in the most gorgeous countryside and has lovely views and ample parking. The welcome was so warm, this friendly attitude continued throughout the afternoon and added so much to the enjoyment of the experience. The choice of sandwiches and cakes were mind boggling, I have had teas at other venues but was given no choice at all. The fillings were substantial and so fresh and the cakes and scones were to die for. An amazing afternoon, we shall certainly go again.

Went to the tea rooms today. Staff were kind and attentive (I had my six month old with me). I had a cream tea and it was stunning. The array of cakes available is stunning, will definitely try one of those on my next trip. Thank you for a lovely afternoon xx

We regularly visit the tea room for a tasty sandwich or one of the fabulous cakes (or both) and catch up with friends. Finally able to get round to having a festive afternoon tea. As expected it lived up to expectations and more. So tasty and as usual soooo much delicious cake we brought some home for later.

Been a couple of times because the cake is so nice. However it’s really expensive for a sandwich or panini! If you’re going for a sandwich and drink you don’t expect to pay £30 for 2! Set in a nice place though but the staff are rude at times and the owner can sometimes make you feel like you shouldn’t be there. Treat people how you would want to be treated!

Was very excited to visit, but the overall experience was a let down to be honest. We found the owner to be a little sharp and blunt in the way she spoke to her staff and some guests. The waitress, whilst friendly realed off her script like it was the most boring thing to say.

I came here with friends for afternoon tea. We have tried various places and this tearoom is up there amongst the best. The sandwiches were delicious and the cakes, scones and dessert were amazing. Staff were very friendly and happy to please. You can even buy nick nacks from their small shop. Children are welcome and their is also seating outside for the warner weather. Definately one to try and if you enjoy discovering different places to have afternoon tea you wont be dissapointed

Booked for 12.15 lunchtime. Only 3 other tables in. Was told couldn’t book any earlier as they had two more Afternoon teas in. So was a little puzzled when they took our drinks order straight away but the food didn’t arrive till 35 minutes later by which we had drunk all our drinks. They also charge extra for another teapot. Although for £15 most places give you more than one pot. Looked lovely and cakes were tasty but to wait and not be told there was a delay is not acceptable. Most of the staff were all congregated in the kitchen which I found odd as nobody was there to ask for another drink. Was on a tight schedule and feel like I had to rush having to wait 35 minutes. Wouldn’t return

Came here for my birthday with my mom sister and young daughter and can honestly say it was AMAZING. Cannot thank the staff for how attentive they were not only to us but also to my daughter, they were very friendly indeed. They were all so happy and approachable and made you feel at ease being there. Nothing was too much trouble and we never feel rushed. The food where do I start it was amazing and so filling, two of us had the afternoon tea and it was present beautifully and tasted gorgeous, very generous portions even on the child's lunch box that was very reasonable too. We were even given an explanation of each layer and asked if we needed anything else. Lovely touches such as the blankets to sit outside on, the beautiful decor and the beautiful surroundings just added to our experience. I have already and will continue to recommend the vintage tea room. We will definitely be back! Thanks again all of you. X

Had a lovely afternoon tea for a late lunch at the tea room. The food was well presented, & the staff couldn't have been more helpful. They have an in-depth understanding of gluten free & other allergy issues, so discuss what you need before you go, they even provided a salad in place of sandwiches when they couldn't offer wholemeal bread.

I have visited The Vintage Tearooms on several occasions with different people. Every time has been excellent. The setting is beautiful and peaceful, the tearooms are clean and extremely comfortable, the owner Kel is very welcoming and friendly, the staff are courteous and helpful above and beyond. And the food ... is delicious. A small perfect select menu that you can tweak to suit yourself and followed by an amazing selection of delicious, moreish cake. Cream teas to die for, especially the lemon drizzle scones.

The Vintage Tearoom used to be at Dear Park, Blythe Bridge. It as recently moved into it's new location, with lovely views. The staff are the same caring folk, serving afternoon teas, tea and cakes, sandwiches and more. They offer blankets to sit out side on sunny days, so you can experience the picnic side. Tables both inside and out. The atmosphere is very friendly, children are catered for, high chairs available.
