I love visiting Ziferblat, a very calm and relaxed place which a great system. I often spend a few hours here at a time. It’s always peaceful and the hosts are friendly and happy to chat.
I had the best time the service is always great and welcoming as a gay person I never feel judged here unlike most places this place just recognises great things and the drinks are so great and the staff are brilliant if you want such a good time for drinks and food come here you will be served by sherry who knows how to serve brings food on time and drinks as well as the manager stewie who not only also cares to serve but makes sure the service is great the place is amazing come here for a good time for good food and drinks :) xxx
A hidden gem for Coventry, forget your big chains, if you want a great bit of grub, at a great price, from a lovely team, then this is the place to be, highly recommend the Raatsy Burger
Went in for pizza and the man at the front said there was no garlic and herb dip. The man (ginger I asked for his name but I have forgotten I am sorry) gave us some. Such a lovely man and was lovely. Pizza is nice and most of the workers are really nice.
Great little spot, tucked away but worth making an effort to visit. Loads of vegan options and some GF too by the looks. Friendly staff, good service, seating upstairs and downstairs and looks to be popular with people doing some work. Highly recommend

Fabulous experience yet again. Well done to Tony & Debs for an entertaining evening with exceptional food.
Just seen the review left by "Travel Fan" who we sat next to on the night. Feel it was incredible harsh! Sure the topics mentioned were raised but being there, they were in context to lived experiences. Such as a visit to Whitby & seeing the golliwog shop.
I would class myself as "woke" i.e I care about others, try not to offend & am sensitive to the language I use. I was not at all offended by Tony's stories & neither was my husband.
Shared tables are not for everyone & I would suggest they really didn't suit this very quiet (introverted?) couple - to each their own!
Personally we had a great time & would highly recommend. Most of the reviews say exactly the same & rate this as a 5 star experience. But you can't please all the people, all of the time. I love this place & have been several times before but it was the 1st time for my husband. Both of us fully intend to go again.
The May menu could have been written for my husband - other than the cured salmon. However each dish was lifted to a whole new level & the salmon dish was my personal favourite. That horseradish sorbet . . . . . ! I could have eaten by the bowl full - it was amazing!
Every dish had the wow factor, in both appearance & taste. You can definitely see why this restaurant wins so many awards.
Can't praise Tony & Debs enough, they are a brilliant couple, who bounce off one another & bring so much fun & energy into the room. Definitely my kind of people.

Fabulous evening at Coventrys Gourmet Food Kitchen with Chef Tony & his wife Debs.
It's a tasting menu with a maximum of 12 people sat a one large table. You get to chat with the other guests & with the hosts as the restaurant is lovely & intimate - like being invited to a dinner party, where you have a view of the kitchen.
Bring your own booze as it's not able to provide bar facilities. This is great, as it keeps down the cost & you know you are going to enjoy the drinks - you brought them! Glasses, bottle opener & water are provided.
Now to the food, each dish was delicious but I'll let the photos do most of the talking. So many processes & so much work goes into each one. As an example, the Home smoked Duck- smoked in a aged oak whisky barrel. The Duck croquettes- Confit leg of Duck with a Duck reduction.
Portion sizes are generous for fine dining but luckily my son was there to help out as my appetite couldn't finish every dish. When it came to the dessert - sublime Lemon tart, with just the right amount of sharp to sweet for me, I had to concede & took home some of the Lemon tart with the Honey Tuelle & the petite fours. Far to scrumptious to let my son have, besides, he was pretty full by then too.
This was my 2nd visit & I will definitely return again for the fine dining. Haven't tried the other menu's - Such as Breakfast & Fish & Chips but fully intend too.
I work for an environmental charity, and we were planting 1000s of trees all around Coventry. And The Pod has been our official food partners through all the events. I went to them with a request for food that can be easily eaten by really muddy volunteers, who have been planting trees, and I came back to this amazingly luxurious platter of falafels and wraps, with tantalising herb dips and sauces. The food was just amazing. They were fresh, felt so homemade, comforting and delicious. They even delivered it to all our tree planting sites. And did I mention, our volunteers absolutely loved!! The entire team (front and backend) were also so lovely. I would definitely recommend them for dine-ins, as well for all your parties and events.
