We stumbled upon this lovely cafe during a New Year getaway and it was such a wonderful find! The cozy interior, inviting outdoor seating and warm welcome made it so special. The staff were friendly, recommending delicious vegetarian options, and the food was fresh, vibrant and full of flavour—not your usual cafe fare! I accidentally left my bag behind and didn’t realise until we were back at our cabin. When I called, Niv kindly reassured me they had it safe. When we returned the next morning, we were greeted with a smile and such kindness. Independent businesses like this truly put their heart into customer service—it shows! Thank you, Niv! ❤️

Very clean, warm, great decor, very nice friendly staff, and for £5.95 you 2 of everything, great pigs pud, and tea n toast, l strongly recommended a visit.

Fantastic value for money, called in today and purchased a piece of home made bread pudding, I can honestly say it was the best I have ever tasted and cost just 80p. Looked at the menu board, this business really offers fantastic value for money and top quality. Will certainly be back for more

I was amazed by the delicious Greek food and wonderful service at Kouza restaurant. The atmosphere was lovely and having travelled extensively in Greece, I must say the food was very authentic. The owner is absolutely lovely and makes you feel so welcomed. If I’m in Birmingham again, I will absolutely come back! Martha

We ordered the seafood basket and chicken and fries and sat down in the tables by the entrance of the market. As l was sitting directly opposite where they were cooking my first concern was how much the food was unnecessarily overhandled whilst being prepared. Instead of tipping fries from a bowl they were scooped by the hand and patted down. I was then concerned by the lack of urgency and efficiency with which the two gentleman were preparing the food. After 40 mins, having to take my 4 yr old away to keep him entertained and people who had ordered after us being served first l asked what was happening. The answer was they only had one customer to serve all day yesterday and were a bit overwhelmed and the food was almost ready. I waited another 15 minutes then asked for a refund. I was told it was now ready and they brought it over. The sea basket was good. The fish fresh and fries crisp and hot. The chicken however was cold and overly salty, the batter on it was so soggy it fell off. I was offered a free meal to compensate but l will certainly not be returning. I do not understand how a street food vendor can take 55 minutes to deal with an order and operate so poorly. My son was starving by the time the food arrived and sorely disappointed when it did, me too!

I found this little gem of cafe a couple of years ago... this is a proper ‘old skool cafe’ that makes a great full English and your usual Bacon sarnies etc and lunchtime meals and sandwiches. It’s very clean and you don’t come out smelling of fried bacon 😉 Prices are good, the owner and staff are a friendly bunch.

If you like steak you have found the right place. We just had the signature dish of featherblade steak with two side dishes, all were cooked to perfection and delicious. We were looked after from booking the table to paying the bill by Joanne who is helpful, friendly and really attentive. We really loved the atmosphere and the music, if we lived in the area we would eat there every week ,great value for money, ten out of ten if you are visiting the Southend area do not miss this Gem.😄 Andrew and Bridget Norwich xx.

Came in on Saturday evening to collect some food for me and my partner , had the munchbox with Prawns , Strips and Mac n Cheese , didn’t disappoint atall . Banging food , not waiting too long either 👌🏻 . Definately be back 🔥

Marvel Chinese takeaway in Quinton is simply great! I’ve never had a bad meal from there and the customer service is very warm and friendly!

Went here with some friends busy lively pub witha good selection of drinks. Apparently its very good for live bands
