Fantastic pub food. Really tasty smoked haddock fishcake starter and the lambs liver and bacon for main. Friendly pub with great service. Would recommend highly.

We highly recommend the King’s Head in Whiteparish. We received a friendly welcome as we entered and shown to our table. I had booked in advance for 4 adults and advised we had 3 largish dogs with us , suggesting they may like to seat us out of the way. The table was in the bar area with room for the dogs to lie down and not be in the way. The owner come to the table to greet us and offer a treat to the dogs asking where we had walked from and making friendly conversation. We all order the Sunday roast, 2 beef, 1 lamb and 1 chicken. All were delicious with plenty of vegetables served separately. The presentation was superb with the Yorkshire puddings topped with parsnips crisps and the accompanying sauces in their own little pots. We will be back for their Fish Fridays and Sunday roasts for sure.

A very enjoyable evening here. The food was lovely and the portions were of a good size. The staff were very pleasant. We will definitely return.

This isn’t about the service, but the ladies toilets are beyond filthy, the sink, walls & tiles are just dirty. Also no soap, or hand dryer.

Fantastic food and service - great upstairs with the rugby commentary, but was asked to go downstairs as they only had 3 tables occupied. Live music was great with silent rugby, given Ireland lost anyway 😆

Shocking customer service from a bar man with a big badge who embarrassed me at the bar We went in at lunch time for a drink with an assistant dog which had a collar saying so I asked on the way I’m to make sure this was ok to be told of course Ordered drink , paid for a drink then to be accosted by a bar man do you have a certificate for assistance dog , no I didn’t on this occasion but never had a problem before , then went on to ask why I had one ! I expressed my discomfort In explaining as I have anxiety in over crowded places , I asked to see the manager and he said we could have our drinks but by this time I was anxious Mr weatherspoons you have no right or do your staff to give me an inquisition at the bar where everyone can here the conversation about what it is is right or wrong with me how dare you How this goes viral be ashamed of your staff who brings company policy before peoples feelings and give him a smaller badge!!
