The best restaurants in Cleeve Hill Tewkesbury South West

The order arrived late, and the food wasn’t even good we ended up throwing everything in the garbage.

Delicious food. The building doesn’t look much from the outside but the food was fabulous. We were staying nearby and were recommended by some friends who had eaten from here before.

Booked a table at the Rising Sun for my graduation celebration meal and we had a brilliant time. The location is fab, really beautiful views of Cleeve and the layout and decor inside the restaurant is really lovely. We were served by Jam, Lauren & Lexi who were all absolutely fab, really friendly and accommodating, made sure we had everything we needed throughout the evening and kept the whole area clean & tidy and ticking along smoothly even with people coming and going regularly, honestly couldn’t have asked for better service. Delicious food, cooked really quickly too, I think we barely waited ten minutes from ordering. Would definitely highly recommend the Rising Sun!

Not surprised this place shut down, it's been going down hill for months, waiting ages for food, short staff, can't order after 7, poor management , rubbish, shame as kids used to like it.

The food is excellent, however portions tend to be small. We stayed for five nights and the menu did not change at all. Staff are attentive and friendly. The room is beautiful with oak panelled walls. Unfortunately we only had one evening in the restaurant during our stay as the rest of the time it was closed, which we were unaware of upon booking.

Brasserie style restaurant. Selection of small plate dishes along with ciabattas and mains. Small plates were appealing; salmon skewers, calamari, prawn dishes and a varied selection of ciabattas.

Disfrutamos mucho del té con crema que tomamos en Webbs Café, pero pensamos que era un poco caro, pero aún así lo disfrutamos.

Marvelous service with cakes to match

Fantastic meal had by myself and my party! Food was hot, tasty and looked good on the plate! Service was impeccable and felt really looked after by Zoe! Would highly recommend the mixed grill!

We held our staff Christmas party on Sunday 8th December including the Christmas Fayre dinner and an overnight stay. My room was warm, the bed extremely comfortable and the bathroom was well stocked with fluffy towels. Our meal was delicious and if there has to be a complaint it was that the portions were huge! There was a great selection at breakfast and again the full english beat most of us. All the staff were friendly and helpful and a credit to you. We will be returning again next year.
