The best restaurants in Severn Stroud South West

Can't fault it. Good drinks served quick. Food was brill. Loved my food especially the chunky chips yum. We had salmon and spinach Wellington and chicken stack.

If I could give zero star I would. I bought 8 loaves of the sprouted rye bread, which were discounted to £17.00 including delivery. I should have known better to fall for it! The bread was inedible. It was impossible to cut as it crumbled, so it could not be toasted either. I contacted the customer service team to give my negative feedback and that the bread was substandard. Anne, the lady I dealt with, implied that there was absolutely nothing wrong with the bread and that, as I had changed my mind, they would only refund the loaved I was sending back and nothing for the postal cost, which were not cheap as the horrible bread is very heavy! 1 loaf cost me £2.125, of which I could only eat 2 pieces as it was disgusting. Return posting cost was £7.79, which they refused to refund despite me sending them the receipt. I paid £17.00 for 8 loaves, they refunded £14.87 for the returned 7 loaves (which they will sell to come other unfortunate customer). I ended up paying almost £10.00, including the return cost, for 1 inedible loaf of disgusting sprouted bread! Shocking and absurd at the same time. They should not be allowed to trade in such manner. BTW I bought a BIONA sprouted rye bread, sliced, and it is delicious. Shame on Everfresh Natural Foods... boooooo!!!!!!!

The Bell has been doing a deal Mon to Thurs for a couple of months, BOGOF. We would pay full price anyway as very impressed. We have been a few times previously some time ago, but the food here has been amazing recently! Nothing like the bigger chain pubs, clearly chefs not just cooks. Great service and eating area set up as restaurant area, so better than many other pubs. Would deffo recommend to try.

I’ve ordered from Chopsticks 6 times over the last 8 months via Just Eat. The food has been consistent and delicious. In particular I love the vermicelli (both Singapore and special varieties) and crispy chilli beef. But in fact, almost every dish ordered has been excellent. The only item in the last 6 orders, which disappointed slightly was the salt and pepper chips. I’m sure they left the restaurant in a good state but they didn’t travel well and were soggy on arrival. In summary, I would not hesitate in recommending Chopsticks. I well certainly be ordering from them again soon…
