Chopsticks in Stroud

Foods usually great. Not this time. Requesting full refund. Driver went to churchdown which is 20 minutes away claiming he was outside and was angry on the phone only to turn up half hour later not even apologising. Ordered on just eat. Food was cold a you’d expect it being so late

The seafood chow mein is amazing.

Very nice food, crispy chilli beef and satay chicken were excellent ordered from just eat and got here quickly. Definitely will be back

Take away delivery which was on time. Unfortunately most of the food had been re-fried,very dry. Will not use again

What a shame, used to be our go to Chinese delivery but this evening it was so disappointing. It all seemed to have been frozen and then reheated, spring rolls weren't crispy, satay chicken skewers tasted like they'd been microwaved, mains were salty and reheated. Should have checked the reviews first rather than relying on experience from a few months ago. Looks like other local takeaways get almost 5 star ratings so we'll try them next time.

Use to be my regular place to go however standards have certainly dropped. Especially inside the restaurant, cash only which is fine it's the food quality and the way the business has slowly gone downhill in regards to how it's run and kept clean.

Ordered crispy chicken in garlic sauces it was definitely not crispy chicken it was more like chicken in a sauce with veg not what was ordered also nit good ,the other meal that went in the bin was veg in oyster sauce which tasted of fish 😡chow mien was just ok nothing as good as it used to be from here sorry won’t be ordering again and neither will my family ,that we’re really disappointed I feel the food wasn’t worth £70 maybe management has changed but it’s not like it was

I ordered a chicken curry, it must have been to a power plant as it didn't even look like a curry. It was a radioactive orange colour with no taste, also it turned out to be very thin strips of over cooked duck instead of the chicken I ordered.

Absolutely awful - gave my partner food poisoning after he said the food didn’t taste right. The chips are dry and the chicken chewy and dry. Personally we will never ever order from here again. Be careful!

Just terrible. We placed an order via justeat, 430pm, first of the day. Crispy duck and sweet n sour chicken.It was 100% leftovers from yesterday, disgraceful. Hard and dry duck, extra greasy from where you clearly re-heated it and it didn't absorb, and the chicken was crunchy due to it being stale. You should be shut down. You've just lost another customer.

ZERO QUALITY!!!!! The most disgusting Chicken chowmein I have EVER had!!! Disgusting!!!! DO NOT waste your hard earned cash on rubbish!!

The worst Chinese takeaway I have ever had. No sauce and slimy chicken. Be careful getting food from here in my opinion

This takeaway was recommended to us. The delivery was fast, food was piping hot and the quality was superb. There was lots of lean meat, huge king prawns, the meat fell off the ribs and the house special chow mein with bbq sauce was amazing. Thank you

I’m surprised to read a lot of negative reviews. Every time I’ve ordered from chopsticks the food has been spot on. I’ve ordered through just eat and it’s arrived on time (earlier than expected a few times). I would certainly recommend this Chinese.

Been ordering from chopsticks for over 2 years. i refuse to go anywhere else. Food is always hot and tasty. always listen to our requests/changes. Will continue to order here.

After waiting 3 hours, calling many many times (constantly engaged), my husband had to drive out and after hearing the order hadn’t evening been processed, we cancelled the order. Restaurant full of other customers in a similar position, and yet they are still taking more orders. We appreciate it’s a particularly busy night, so expected a wait, but stop taking orders or limit them if you can’t keep up.

The aromatic crispy duck was cremated and dried out. The salt and pepper king prawns were soggy, over salted and under spiced. Truly awful.

Tuve una comida para llevar esta semana desde aquí, pedí solo comer, comí chow mein que no tenía ningún sabor, las albóndigas Sui mai no tenían sabor al igual que el rollito de primavera, un error costoso, pero la comida se entregó rápido, ¡pero qué asco!

Moved to Gloucester over a year ago and craved a decent chinese. Had one from another company and generally put me off for a while. A friend recommended Chopsticks and it was amazing!!!! fantastic flavours, very hot on arrival and polite delivery guy. Would highly recommend. I will be using you in the future. Had the Cantonese style sweet and sour chicken. King prawn fried rice Chicken satay starters

Really like this Chinese. Unlike one nearby that I've used for longer, they brought food out to my car to save me getting my wheelchair out. Like the food too. I like to judge Chinese takeaways on their egg fried rice and theirs is great! :) Also like that they give free prawn crackers with deliveries and I just wanted to change something from the menu although ordering via just eat and it was fine. They just said to request it in the comments. Never had anything I didn't like from them.

Very slow to deliver Ordered on Just eat , was due to be delivered after 1 hour ,had to chase them twice. Food arrived 30 mins late so ended up waiting 1.5 hours for it . If I had known it would take that long i would have ordered elsewhere as had kids waiting for their supper to get them to bed. Food arrived hot . But wasnt anything special , not good but not bad, it all seemed to lack meat in the meat dishes more veg than meat . The ribs were too fatty , and special fried rice was unusual , lacked meat had a lot of veg in it and not what I normally expect, noodles a bit soggy. AS I said average not the worst I have had but not the best either.

Food not great quality as didn't seem fresh. Have had better. Crispy seaweed sugary, Satay chicken dry, sweet & sour chicken sauce not tasty. No filling in spring rolls. Just as well were all hungry!!

Ordered dumplings, steamed buns, ribs and crispy beef (to share for 2) and honestly it was the best Chinese I've had. Ribs (peking sauce) and crispy beef are especially good. Came 10 minutes later than advised, but still within an hour, and worth the wait!

I've ordered from here for the last 4-5 years. But lately they have gone downhill which is a shame. Chicken balls chicken dry on the inside and batter is dry and burnt, chips are dry like they've been microwaved, sweet and sour sauce was like dipping my chicken ball into a bottle of vinegar. I rang and complained and was given a free portion of sweet and sour chicken balls. So gave them the benefit of the doubt and ordered a further 2 times but enough is enough, it safe to say they have definitely gone downhill. So I've decided to try somewhere else this week.

First time trying Chopstick for a take away and delivery and it didn't disappoint. We tried Chopstick because our usual is closed today being New Year's Day, we would definitely have take away from here again. We only have the basics - chow mein, sweet and sour chicken balls, rice, beef and black bean sauce and curry sauce, but it was very nice. The curry sauce wouldn't be my favourite ever but that's me being fussy! Delivery was quick considering they must be busy tonight.

First time I have ever used and the food was hot and absolutely lovely...will definitely use again

I ordered a take away last night from these and I will never use these again. First the driver could not find us, the meal was only luke warm, it was absolutely dreadful I took one fork full and threw the rest away never have I had such a disgusting meal from a chinese take away .

Double happiness might just be the best meal of my life! Super quick delivery, exceptional food & excellent service would highly recommend

Food was ok. At least it was hot. The selection on menu can be found in any Chinese and the service could be improved.

I ordered food yesterday, first time, and the duck choe main was only fat meat, the nudle was nice tho. It was quite upsetting.

Sadly for the second week in a row we were let down, deliver was 30 mins over agreed time, such a shame because the food tastes great, perhaps they should only offer collection.... Guess it's a packet of crisps for tea tonight. Very disappointed and hungry, thanks for spoiling our Friday night......

Pretty quick service, nice takeaway food. Never had any problems at all and the staff seem always friendly.

Ordered from here and never received our food. Driver said he couldn't find our address and said it's our fault we don't have a house number!!! Need to get another driver who isn't rude. After two hours of waiting we got a refund.

Take away was awful, I ordered prawns in garlic sauce, it was literally a plate of onions to go, my husband had chicken curry, this was also massively bulked out with onions, would only recommend if you want to spend the time playing hunt the prawn and chicken, very poor quality.

Ordered on-line and waited over 2 hours - on telephoning the restaurant there was no reply. Just about to go out to find another take-away when it turned up (despite the on-line status claiming it had been delivered 15 minutes previously). Although warm, the food was flavourless, meat and spring rolls dry (and empty) and sauce was extemely glutenous. The szechaun sauce tasted remarkably like sweet & sour. Shan't be ordering from this place again - most of this went straight in the bin.

Title speaks for itself. I'll post a quick list of what was ordered with comments. - Hot and Sour soup - Couldn't actually eat this gelatinous "soup". - Salt and Pepper chicken wings - Not bad, mostly batter. - Crispy Chili beef - sauce was watery, beef was mostly batter. - Salt and Pepper Chips - cold, wet, flavorless and tasted stale. delivery came quickly, although I wish it didn't come at all.

Nice place, can order through 'just eat' however takes over an hour to be delivered! I went to the take away myself, clean, friendly staff, Nice food.

Ordered a set menu for 2 tonight. Chicken from the chicken and mushroom dish was soggy and just cooked. Beef Satay was runny and the other dish was tasteless. Won't be eating from here anytime soon.

Pedir una casa de 2 curry specual, 1 con huevo frito arroz n otro con patatas fritas. Comida llegó muy rápidamente, que puede ser un signo de preocupación. La carne era reducir n grande era frío comparado con la salsa real en sí. El huevo frito arroz era horrible, y las patatas fritas sabor como la grasa no habían cambiado en un tiempo. No deberá ser comer allí de nuevo.

vergüenza para la persona que escribió el comentario anterior ya que hemos tenido una experiencia fantástica de estos chicos! La comida siempre muestra encomiable comprobar rápida. (Una vez que estábamos esperando solamente unos 15 - 20 minutos)

Very poor customer service. Delivery is usually late and orders often incorrect. When you phone to complain they are not at all interested in correcting the problem.
