The best restaurants in Cornwood and Sparkwell South Hams South West

Great pub and food. The staff is really friendly.

Lovely village pub reclaimed by the locals. Added bonus of being able to park your campervan in the carpark overnight.

We saw they had vegan options on the menu, so we thought we would try as it’s been a while since we have had an Indian takeaway due to not many other indian restaurants advertising they do vegan options, I had the vegetable korma and vegetable fried rice and I was really impressed, tasted lovely and good portion sizes, would definitely have again.

Recently stayed here to attend our friends wedding. The bar staff were not welcoming at all which started our stay off with a very uncomfortable vibe. The rooms are very dated and absolutely not what you would expect for a hotel that prides itself on being high end and accommodating. The overall feel of the Elfordleigh was that we weren't made to feel welcome, there was only one member of staff that I would praise and that is the lady who was running the floor for breakfast as she was fantastic! A lick of paint and new staff and they'd be halfway there.

No food available midweek, definitely a popular locals pub, but website inaccurate re food service. A big disappointment

Fuimos para una comida familiar y había una hora de comer oferta para aprovechar. El restaurante tiene un ambiente tranquilo y la comida estaba riquísima, buen servicio amable sin quejas. . Aunque la pizarra 'platos 'buen aspecto pero difícil de comer. Hemos estado antes para tomar un 'pub' con los niños y esta vez el restaurante sólo adultos y fue genial tener una experiencia diferente. Ya tengo ganas de volver.
