We are having Chris Chu funeral wake at the cafe on Wednesday 11th September 10.30am. This was Chris's favorite place for many years before his passing on 19.08.2024.

Was a good place until last night I went in for a pint only for the barmaid to come up to me and told me I was banned she was very rude in the way she spoke to me when I told her that I haven't been in for a few weeks and I know her daughter as we are both on a mental health course together she said sorry I got you mixed up with someone else I've got learning difficulties and I felt the way that she spoke to me was very intimidating I've been going in there for a long time now with no problems until now I won't be going in again as I didn't like the way I was treated

Working away food can be a little bit hit and miss, this was definitely a HIT, I'd give it a 10 if I could. Definitely one of the best mixed grills I've ever had 😋 delicious.

We had a great experince here and enjoyed the all you can eat offering. The staff are really friendly and attentive really 10 stars there if I could give it. The food, its ala carte but all you can eat from a limited subset of their standard menu. Salmon skin maki was on the list, I thought it sounded weird, but no. Amazing, my fav dish of the evening. Superb place to eat.

Authentic indian cuisine, it felt like a unique experience that we never had in others indian restaurants. Plus they were super friendly and everything was so nicely presented. 100% recommend!

I was not able to taste the food here as after an hour an hour we could not have the box menu as they only had one chef. Apparently it was now possible only to order the same dishes from the main menu. We reluctantly did so. Yet 1 &1/2 hours later still no food and we were told they were still unable to say when the first course would be available. Avoid this place at all costs. If you get any food you will be very lucky.

Food wasn’t really nice Duck rice was very very fatty and same with the pork curry, flavourings weren’t really tastey, chips were hard and dry

We visited the restaurant in October for the first time in a while and thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Fresh quality ingredients, great atmosphere and professional but friendly service. We arrived at 6:00 and explained we needed to be finished by 7:00 as we were off to the theatre. Raj delivered as promised and without being rushed, we were able to leave on time, having all commented on the quality of the food. We’ve visited again on 3 November and opted for dishes recommended by the server. The scallop starter, chicken Golap and king prawn jalfrezi were stand out dishes, although all dishes were very good.
