Visited two chefs second time and for the second time food was delicious. We are not familiar with the names of the dishes so tried something new, and was super delicious. Also love the poppadoms and pickles tray. Tasty, vibrant refreshing. Different than the usual ones- two chefs ones are definitely much better. Garlic naan delicious 😋 Will come back with pleasure.

I had the 🐟 cooked in bay leaves. Sea bass allegedly. Had it as a takeaway and never had the chance to go back and complain. I couldn’t make out if the fish had disintegrated or was a second-hand fish😆 The amount of fish on it would have fitted into an eggcup. Strangest curry I’ve ever had.

It is with a heavy heart that I am writing this review, as I was once a big fan of this restaurant. However, my recent experience at their paid "festival" event has left me deeply disappointed. Despite the promise of "unlimited" food, which was very exciting considering how yummy the food off the main menu had been, I ended up suffering severe food poisoning that lasted five days and counting, which my GP has confirmed likely stemmed from the event. My friend who attended with me also fell ill. While I have always enjoyed dining here, the festival food was a different story altogether. The dishes, although we were told were "traditional," on arrival were off-menu, and no one could tell me exactly what we were eating, I had to pressing the people serving hard for information, but the explanation remained vague, largely due to a language barrier. The food was served stone cold and seemed to have been left out to cool after being cooked. When I inquired about allergy information, I was told to check their Facebook page, which is neither practical or acceptable. Additionally, the food was served on banana leaves. While this might be fun and possibly traditional, it didn’t feel very sanitary, especially since I noticed the owner's family and friends were eating off metal serving plates. The "unlimited" food claim was also misleading. We were given only very small samples of traditional mystery dishes and unlimited cold rice. When I requested an extra poppadom, the response was unwelcoming. I felt misled and used, as the event seemed more like a private party for the owners' family and friends rather than a public festival. Although £17.99 is not a huge amount of money, it is when you have been promised something that is not delivered and the main part of the dish was rice, with the rest of the food consisting mostly of beans and lentils. The level of false advertising and lack of food hygiene standards—such as serving food at unsafe temperatures—is unacceptable. Sadly, due to this experience, I will not be returning to the restaurant.

Found this gem on Trip Advisor and decided to visit after checking out their menu which contained some unusual dishes we had not heard of before. So glad we went. One of the best curry experiences we've had for a long time. All dishes were flavour packed and well presented, would particularlyrecommend the beef fry and the lamb ularthiyatuh. Service and surroundings were excellent too. Would highly recommend.

I booked a table for dinner on the recommendation from a friend. The food at the Two Chefs has to be the best I’ve had in Weston in a very long time. The food is amazing, the curries have an authentic taste. A rich depth of flavour that you don’t get from most Indian restaurants. Absolutely faultless, food and service. Knowledgable staff who take the time to chat to you about the food and the region of India that it originates. The restaurant is BYO, which we loved. The food is massively underpriced given the quality, an absolute gem of a restaurant and exactly what Weston needs. I will be recommending it to everyone I know and will be looking forward to going back again soon.

Went Friday night and had the set menu, where they bring you a selection of their dishes and you can keep ordering more if you want. We started with a Lamb soup, then we had a sorbet type dish, then a lamb and beef curry, pilau rice and nan breads. Their menu is very different to the other Indian/Asian restaurants in the Town. There is an artistic bistro type style to the presentation and all the dishes were delicious. The service was excellent and the chef even came out from the kitchen to ask us if we had enjoyed his food, which was a nice touch. They don't sell alcohol, so take your own, there is an off license less than 5 mins away. Highly recommend it.

This is my second visit in the last 4 months and didn’t disappoint again. The curries are so flavoursome and fresh. I had the lamb curry which was divine. The lamb pieces were tender fall apart and no fat at all. My friend even cleared up what was left and she is a really fussy meat eater. To top it all off the staff are so welcoming and polite. After paying our bill and finishing our drinks the server came back to say he had overcharged us £9 and insisted on refunding us. I've been eating Indian food for over 40 years and I can honestly say the meal I got from Two Chefs was the worst meal I ever had. I ordered a chicken biryani and I got what is in the attached picture. No curry gravy (biryani sauce) just yoghurt and mango dip! I usually get that as a free-be as a dip with papadoms from my regular curry house. I phoned to complain and was told that is how they supply biryiani! I thought, OK, I'll give it a try. Well the chicken was just chopped chicken carcase with minimal meat, just bones. Absolutely horrible. I ended up throwing the lot in the bin. On top of the minimum meal charge of £20 I was charged a delivery fee, a service charge and a bag fee! Avoid this place!

We decided to visit late on a Tuesday evening after being out for the evening, a quick phone call and we were booked in and sat at our table within 10 minutes. We were advised whilst booking that we could take our own alcohol into the restaurant so stopped off en route for a bottle of wine and a couple of bottles of beer. On arrival we were greeted by a friendly waiter who offered us a choice of table and on taking our drinks out of the bag kindly offered to put them in the fridge to keep them chilled. As this was our first visit the waiter not only explained the menu but also explained that the dishes were all Southern Indian recipes and not the traditional Bangladeshi style Indian food that is found in most Indian restaurants. The menu was full of dishes neither of us had eaten before so we were in for something new, the usual "classics" were available too. We started with poppadom’s, which weren't the usual flat round portion but smaller and many more bite sized portions, they came with mint sauce, beetroot and mango dips that were very tasty We were going to have starters but when we went through the whole order we were advised to have our chosen side Masala Dosa dish as a starter instead as we would struggle to eat all the food otherwise He wasn't wrong but more about that later ! We'd never had Masala Dosa before and it was very tasty, it was a large crepe with potato masala inside served with different chutneys and curried lentils as dips, we would both recommend this item for anyone visiting For our mains I had Angamaly Pork Fry which was a slow cooked pork wrapped in ginger, garlic and chillis. My partner had Chicken Kuruma which was big chunks of chicken in a mild spicey sauce,. We shared a Garlic Nan and Kerala fried rice, which was the house special rice with a selection of diced meats and spices mixed in. All our dishes were delicious, piping hot and very generous sized portions and as warned we would struggle to eat it all. Special mention to our waiter who added that extra personal touch describing various dishes we enquired about, including where the dishes originated and what was in them, it certainly added that by little bit extra to our evening. One final bonus was the price was much lower than normally out, but primarily because a bill is normally over 50% on alcohol.

Absolutely delicious dishes, best I've had in years. So unique and authentic, plentiful and the service wasn't far short of silver !

Lovely food well presented. The fish curry was superbe. It would be helpful if hotness of dishes was shown on the menu. Will certainly be going back.

Possibly the worst Indian restaurant I’ve ever been too !! Poppadom dips just the worst ever , came out in tiny little pots and nothing like you usually get in most Indian restaurants. Not even the onion dip or lime ! The main meal came out and can only be described as something like a £3 microwave meal you get from Tesco’s . Runny sauce and only about 5 pieces of chicken and nothing else in it . Got up without paying as it was that bad !! Avoid at all costs !! Wouldn’t even rate it 1 out of 10.

This unassuming little restaurant packs a big punch. I must’ve tried over 40 different curry restaurants in Bristol at this point and this is definitely a hidden gem. Enticed by its high rated Google reviews we went there tonight, and were greeted by very friendly smiley staff, who basically just served up some Fantastic well-made food. I won’t make this review too long, but when the naan breads are made from scratch and taste great, and every dishes made with care like it is here… It just makes for a great experience. Highly highly recommend. Well done to you guys at the restaurant to your reading this. Very very impressive work.

We visited the restaurant in October for the first time in a while and thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Fresh quality ingredients, great atmosphere and professional but friendly service. We arrived at 6:00 and explained we needed to be finished by 7:00 as we were off to the theatre. Raj delivered as promised and without being rushed, we were able to leave on time, having all commented on the quality of the food. We’ve visited again on 3 November and opted for dishes recommended by the server. The scallop starter, chicken Golap and king prawn jalfrezi were stand out dishes, although all dishes were very good. Thanks!

Came here, post carnival. Curry Garden offers a truly elegant dining experience. The modern, clean decor strikes the perfect balance between sophistication and warmth, it has stylish furnishings, beautiful hand painted murials with subtle Indian accents. I loved the antique Buddha on the bar! The ambiance is classy yet welcoming, I took my family this time, but wouldn’t hesitate to go here for a special anniversary or date meal. The food was of exceptional quality, I had the qubhani lamb shank. It was honestly the best I have ever tasted. Rich, slightly sweet and so flavourful. If you ever visit Weston don’t miss this place!
