Four of us had a fantastic meal at Two Chefs last night. The restaurant wasn't over busy, but the atmosphere was perfect. They have a drinks licence now, so there is no need to bring your own, and their prices are similar to other restaurants. One of our party is vegetarian, and there is an extensive range available for them. This is not just another Indian restaurant. it is THE Indian restaurant to visit if you are in weston super mare. We will definitely return.

South Indian food is a celebration of flavors, a symphony of spices, and a testament to the region's rich culinary heritage. It’s a cuisine that deserves to be savored and explored, one delicious bite at a time. Whether you’re a seasoned foodie or a curious beginner, you’re sure to find something to tantalize your taste buds. We found an amazing South Indian restaurant “ Two Chef’s “ at Weston Super Mare that serves authentic food. We ordered Lassi poori as starter followed by the days special FISH MANDI, Beef Biriyani and Idli. They have all sort of chicken, beef and fish varieties that sails a ship in our mouth. As Drinks and dessert we ordered Varieties of Lime Jucies and Lime soda. They serves Indian beverages as well as western . Finally as dessert we ordered their special Mitayi platter that with pazhampori, carrot halwa and pinaple thandoori. The food is as good as it’s presentation. Never miss out a chance to dine in.

Had a Meal here last Saturday 1st March. The menu is diverse and very interesting, had a 3 course meal to try some dishes I hadn't seen or tried before. All the food was very tasty and cooked to perfection, never seen or thought of a Lamb Shank Korma or curried cauliflower, even the desert was just right, I had the mixture. So, the meal was excellent, the service perfect and the value for money spot on, even the background music was great. i give this restaurant 10/10 and will definitely return the next time I'm in Weston.

This was not our first time visit and we were happy to visit here always. Few things which we felt really bad for visiting the restaurant this time. It was busy there but it took a minimum of 20 minutes for someone to come and take our order. They told it's gonna be at least 30 minutes for food, but mains was served almost around 1 hr after placing the order and the dessert took them another 30-40 minutes. The dessert platter we ordered was a huge disappointment. The pazham pori was fried in oil that seemed old, giving it an unpleasant taste. The carrot halwa had an odd flavor, almost as if the carrot used was decayed, making it difficult to eat. While we also had kadala payasam and gulab jamun, the overall experience was ruined by the poor quality of the other desserts. Definitely not worth the wait or the expectation. The order we placed for mains was good and didn't have any issue with that. But the above issues we felt did bother us and hence we decided to write a feedback. Please ensure you guys take it as a constructive criticism and work on it. I would think twice now if I wanna visit you guys just because of an odd experience once.

Had an amazing culinary experience of authentic Indian cuisine at Two Chefs restaurant in Weston Super Mare. The taste of each dish brings nostalgic memories of my childhood and the backwaters of Kerala. The chefs who work there are from Kerala and I had the pleasure to meet them. They definitely have magic in their hands. Couldn’t find any faults honestly. I loved the Appam and mutton stew. Biryani was the winner. My friends were vegetarian and they had Paneer and naan and it was delicious. The vegetarian pulao was tasty to the core. Very neat restaurant Staff are incredible and nice people.

I had a terrible experience at 2Chef Restaurant. As a vegetarian, I ordered a veg biryani, but midway through my meal, I found small chunks of chicken in it. I was shocked and immediately informed the staff. Instead of acknowledging the issue, the chef acted as if he didn’t believe me. Since I was dining with my friends who had ordered non-veg dishes, I got the impression that he assumed we had mixed it ourselves. To prove my point, I insisted they check the CCTV. Only after reviewing it did the manager admit the mistake and apologize. This was disgusting and completely unacceptable. I used to eat chicken two years ago but have since become fully vegetarian. Even for me, this was disturbing. Imagine how horrifying it would be for someone who has been vegetarian since birth! Serving meat in a vegetarian dish is not just a careless mistake—it’s a serious violation of trust and shows a complete disregard for dietary choices. If you are vegetarian, be extremely cautious here. I will never return and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who values food integrity and respect for their preferences.

Recently went to Weston Super Mare to visit and was craving for authentic Indian food. I was surprised to find one here where the chefs are from Kerala, South India. Food was delicious and lip smacking. The chicken biryani was full of flavour and brought back memories of home. I tried many other dishes and every dish was unique in taste. There are vegetarian options as well. The hospitality is another positive as the staff are very polite and friendly and takes time to explain the dishes to people who understand Indian cuisine. Very clean as well. Its a 10/10

We had a really good experience at Two Chefs this evening. The head waiter was attentive, passionate and knowledgeable about their restaurant. We also had a good chat with another charming waiter (Jilsun(?) who was also invested in the restaurant. The food was exceptional. What we really appreciated was that all the meals were "different" to the norm in that even base items, such as poppadoms & dips were better than your average Curry house. My oxtail madras was sublime...even though it contains coconut (which I was dubious about, and the head waiter talked me through) the flavour was only in the background so didn't take away the other flavours. I could go on! Well done team 👏

Wow blew me away I popped in as I have heard so many good things about this restaurant, I asked I would like a small starter, so lamb samosa it was followed by a chicken byiriani in the bone, ps probably spelt that wrong, but hay, The samosa was flavoursome with a nice dip not too hot. The mains was one of the best, I used to be a chef so to taste the cardamon, fennel ,coriander seeds plus other spices was a flavour explosion. So orthentic,so flavoursome and so authentic. I was stuffed . Look forward to trying other dishes off the menu. Thanks again

We tried Two Chefs for the first time last night Delicious and they were so helpful and pleasant, excellent service The food there is slightly different from your regular curry house, coming from Kerala in the south of India and they were so good about telling what things were! There was a delicious beetroot chutney with the poppadoms and lovely tamarind sauce with the pakora And the we’d never tried masala dosa before so we shared one as a starter and it was really good, will definitely order that again The lamb ularthiyatu was really tasty and tender and the village chicken curry very flavourful with lots of nice big chicken pieces I enjoyed trying the kerala parrotta which was like a flaky naan bread And they had a lime pineapple drink on the specials menu which was sweet, cold and refreshing, a bit like a non alcoholic pina colada, but not creamy We loved trying things we hadn’t had before and will definitely be going back to try some more 🤣

Chef came out to visit and chat which was really nice. Lamb marrow bone soup, Gobi 65 cauliflowers, masala dosa and especially the Chicken tandoori were excellent. We ordered extra and took the excess as takeaway for tomorrow! This is not a ‘normal’ Indian restaurant….this is a restaurant that serves many dishes that I’d never heard of or seen before, and although it’s not a hugely extensive menu, there is something there for everyone. I had the beef fry starter and it was delicious and spicy with lovely flavours, followed by the traditional chicken curry which had flavours I’ve never experienced before but could eat every day for the next few years! The chef came out for a chat and to discuss how he cooks the food which was a lovely touch and the staff are very attentive and took their time to explain the difference between all the dishes in a friendly and polite way. Two Chefs Indian Restaurant in Weston-super-Mare truly lived up to its name, proving that too many cooks don’t always spoil the broth! From the moment we stepped in, the warm and inviting ambience set the tone for an enjoyable evening. We started with the Cauliflower 65 and Chickpea Masala, both of which were bursting with flavors. The Cauliflower 65 had a delightful crunch, while the masala was perfectly spiced and comforting. The nans, both garlic and peshawari, were fluffy and fresh, complementing the mains beautifully. Though the service was on the slower side, the staff’s friendliness and attention to detail more than compensated. Plus, the food was so good that the wait almost felt worth it. You could tell the chefs put their heart into every dish. Overall, an excellent experience with great food and a relaxing vibe. It is with a heavy heart that I am writing this review, as I was once a big fan of this restaurant. However, my recent experience at their paid "festival" event has left me deeply disappointed. Despite the promise of "unlimited" food, which was very exciting considering how yummy the food off the main menu had been, I ended up suffering severe food poisoning that lasted five days and counting, which my GP has confirmed likely stemmed from the event. My friend who attended with me also fell ill. While I have always enjoyed dining here, the festival food was a different story altogether. The dishes, although we were told were "traditional," on arrival were off-menu, and no one could tell me exactly what we were eating, I had to pressing the people serving hard for information, but the explanation remained vague, largely due to a language barrier. The food was served stone cold and seemed to have been left out to cool after being cooked. When I inquired about allergy information, I was told to check their Facebook page, which is neither practical or acceptable. Additionally, the food was served on banana leaves. While this might be fun and possibly traditional, it didn’t feel very sanitary, especially since I noticed the owner's family and friends were eating off metal serving plates. The "unlimited" food claim was also misleading. We were given only very small samples of traditional mystery dishes and unlimited cold rice. When I requested an extra poppadom, the response was unwelcoming. I felt misled and used, as the event seemed more like a private party for the owners' family and friends rather than a public festival. Although £17.99 is not a huge amount of money, it is when you have been promised something that is not delivered and the main part of the dish was rice, with the rest of the food consisting mostly of beans and lentils. The level of false advertising and lack of food hygiene standards—such as serving food at unsafe temperatures—is unacceptable. Sadly, due to this experience, I will not be returning to the restaurant.

Outstanding - Rich, well flavoured food. Great menu and friendly service - had a great meal - they should charge more for the quality of the food.

I booked a table for dinner on the recommendation from a friend. The food at the Two Chefs has to be the best I’ve had in Weston in a very long time. The food is amazing, the curries have an authentic taste. A rich depth of flavour that you don’t get from most Indian restaurants. Absolutely faultless, food and service. Knowledgable staff who take the time to chat to you about the food and the region of India that it originates. The restaurant is BYO, which we loved. The food is massively underpriced given the quality, an absolute gem of a restaurant and exactly what Weston needs. I will be recommending it to everyone I know and will be looking forward to going back again soon.

Went Friday night and had the set menu, where they bring you a selection of their dishes and you can keep ordering more if you want. We started with a Lamb soup, then we had a sorbet type dish, then a lamb and beef curry, pilau rice and nan breads. Their menu is very different to the other Indian/Asian restaurants in the Town. There is an artistic bistro type style to the presentation and all the dishes were delicious. The service was excellent and the chef even came out from the kitchen to ask us if we had enjoyed his food, which was a nice touch. They don't sell alcohol, so take your own, there is an off license less than 5 mins away. Highly recommend it.

Delighted to find this restaurant - very good range of vegetarian & vegan food, alongside non-veg. The Dosa was delicious and I want to go back to try the rest of the menu. Friendly, helpful staff and very reasonable prices.

Family visited this restaurant firstly we are all curry enthusiasts and know a good curry So this is an honest review from all The mogul is quite a small restaurant on entering we noticed no food rating stars on window or door so on checking found it was only a 3 star ? Although the seating area was clean the toilets especially the females looked as if it hadn't been cleaned for quite a while as lots of grime and soap scum covered the taps and sink there was nothing to dry your hands either with only a 3 star rating I can only imagine what the kitchen was like Ok now the food and service The one waiter was attentive and nothing was to much trouble however as for the food The onion barghee I had for an appitiser was totally tasteless not even a hint of spice or zing my other members of the family who had samosas and other various appitisers also agreed although the portions were generous their was just no taste As for the mains I opted for a lamb dansak which again came as a generous portion the lamb was tasty and tender but again the sauce or gravy let it down all four other family members had different meals but again admitted that while all portions were generous as for taste wise a big let down Will I come hear again NO

Absolutely awful experience tried to order earlier in the week said payment went through and nothing arrived. Website just doesn’t seem to work tried ordering today and it was accepted payment went through wait over an hour and call them nothing arrives so ask when is it coming they say delivery has left and will be with you soon. Then get an email 90 minutes after email (see screenshots) telling me it’s cancelled so I call again to be told oh you didn’t order enough so my driver didn’t want to come to you. Even though they accepted my order and was over their minimum order fee??? Then tell me the drivers gone home and that I should order in Uber eats if you want. Now have to wait and see if they even bother to process a refund and no apologies or compensation for wasting my Saturday night Awful place and website/communications don’t ever go here
