Superb restaurant. A hidden gem of Weston! Really worth a visit. No issues regarding visiting with a wheelchair and an assistance dog. Super friendly staff (special thank you to Joel for his food recommendations). It was great to meet the chef and chat about his family and pets. Loved trying new dishes I’d never heard of before. Really good prices. Will definitely be back soon. Thank you.

Quite an unassuming place on the outside but what a treat inside. Nicely decorated and spacious. Food and service both 5 stars!! Even the chef did a full restaurant check back to make sure everything was okay with their meals. Will definitely return.

The sweetest family owned business in town, The food was incredible. I'm surprised it wasn't busier. I highly recommend this if you're wanting to go out with some friends and stay here. The chefs take their time with each dish putting love into each one. One of the chefs came out to ask everyone how the food was which was so sweet. Each dish was perfectly seasoned as well. 100% Recommend

I recently visited 2 chiefs and was blown away by the authentic flavors and warm hospitality. Their biryani is an absolute masterpiece! Each grain of rice was perfectly cooked, fragrant with the aroma of spices, and had just the right amount of heat. I tried the chicken biryani, which was packed with juicy, tender pieces of chicken. And my next favourite is chicken tikka. 🤤

Outstanding! Honestly some of the most beautiful tasting Indian cuisine I’ve ever had the pleasure of tasting, and I’ve eaten from many Indian restaurants all over the UK. We chose the taster menu to experience a bit of everything our first time visiting this restaurant after so many recommendations. If I could describe how good this place is, let’s put it this way… I’d get out of bed, get dressed and drive here to collect if they couldn’t deliver! So good I’ve took the time to write a review! Not to mention the service has been fabulous and very attentive and the new selection of wine tastes delicious.

We tried Two Chefs for the first time last night Delicious and they were so helpful and pleasant, excellent service The food there is slightly different from your regular curry house, coming from Kerala in the south of India and they were so good about telling what things were! There was a delicious beetroot chutney with the poppadoms and lovely tamarind sauce with the pakora And the we’d never tried masala dosa before so we shared one as a starter and it was really good, will definitely order that again The lamb ularthiyatu was really tasty and tender and the village chicken curry very flavourful with lots of nice big chicken pieces I enjoyed trying the kerala parrotta which was like a flaky naan bread And they had a lime pineapple drink on the specials menu which was sweet, cold and refreshing, a bit like a non alcoholic pina colada, but not creamy We loved trying things we hadn’t had before and will definitely be going back to try some more 🤣

Really friendly and welcoming service, attentive but not overbearing or hovering around too much. Food was really interesting and different from your average Indian restaurant. Chef came out to visit and chat which was really nice. Lamb marrow bone soup, Gobi 65 cauliflowers, masala dosa and especially the Chicken tandoori were excellent. We ordered extra and took the excess as takeaway for tomorrow! Atmosphere only lost a star as it was a bit quiet early sitting on a drizzly Thursday night in December, and the flashing lights in the window kept catching my eye. Overall, new favorite, we will be back!

The restaurant coped really well with so many people and served us simultaneously, very attentive service with the chefs coming out to chat with us about the food. This is not a ‘normal’ Indian restaurant….this is a restaurant that serves many dishes that I’d never heard of or seen before, and although it’s not a hugely extensive menu, there is something there for everyone. I had the beef fry starter and it was delicious and spicy with lovely flavours, followed by the traditional chicken curry which had flavours I’ve never experienced before but could eat every day for the next few years! The chef came out for a chat and to discuss how he cooks the food which was a lovely touch and the staff are very attentive and took their time to explain the difference between all the dishes in a friendly and polite way. Honestly cannot fault this place, the food is amazing and we will definitely be back.

Two Chefs Indian Restaurant in Weston-super-Mare truly lived up to its name, proving that too many cooks don’t always spoil the broth! From the moment we stepped in, the warm and inviting ambience set the tone for an enjoyable evening. We started with the Cauliflower 65 and Chickpea Masala, both of which were bursting with flavors. The Cauliflower 65 had a delightful crunch, while the masala was perfectly spiced and comforting. The nans, both garlic and peshawari, were fluffy and fresh, complementing the mains beautifully. Though the service was on the slower side, the staff’s friendliness and attention to detail more than compensated. Plus, the food was so good that the wait almost felt worth it. You could tell the chefs put their heart into every dish. Overall, an excellent experience with great food and a relaxing vibe. We’ll definitely be returning for another feast if we're in the area again.

It is with a heavy heart that I am writing this review, as I was once a big fan of this restaurant. However, my recent experience at their paid "festival" event has left me deeply disappointed. Despite the promise of "unlimited" food, which was very exciting considering how yummy the food off the main menu had been, I ended up suffering severe food poisoning that lasted five days and counting, which my GP has confirmed likely stemmed from the event. My friend who attended with me also fell ill. While I have always enjoyed dining here, the festival food was a different story altogether. The dishes, although we were told were "traditional," on arrival were off-menu, and no one could tell me exactly what we were eating, I had to pressing the people serving hard for information, but the explanation remained vague, largely due to a language barrier. The food was served stone cold and seemed to have been left out to cool after being cooked. When I inquired about allergy information, I was told to check their Facebook page, which is neither practical or acceptable. Additionally, the food was served on banana leaves. While this might be fun and possibly traditional, it didn’t feel very sanitary, especially since I noticed the owner's family and friends were eating off metal serving plates. The "unlimited" food claim was also misleading. We were given only very small samples of traditional mystery dishes and unlimited cold rice. When I requested an extra poppadom, the response was unwelcoming. I felt misled and used, as the event seemed more like a private party for the owners' family and friends rather than a public festival. Although £17.99 is not a huge amount of money, it is when you have been promised something that is not delivered and the main part of the dish was rice, with the rest of the food consisting mostly of beans and lentils. The level of false advertising and lack of food hygiene standards—such as serving food at unsafe temperatures—is unacceptable. Sadly, due to this experience, I will not be returning to the restaurant.

The food is amazing, the curries have an authentic taste. A rich depth of flavour that you don’t get from most Indian restaurants. Absolutely faultless, food and service. Knowledgable staff who take the time to chat to you about the food and the region of India that it originates. The restaurant is BYO, which we loved. Went Friday night and had the set menu, where they bring you a selection of their dishes and you can keep ordering more if you want. We started with a Lamb soup, then we had a sorbet type dish, then a lamb and beef curry, pilau rice and nan breads. Their menu is very different to the other Indian/Asian restaurants in the Town. There is an artistic bistro type style to the presentation and all the dishes were delicious. The service was excellent and the chef even came out from the kitchen to ask us if we had enjoyed his food, which was a nice touch. They don't sell alcohol, so take your own, there is an off license less than 5 mins away. Highly recommend it.

I've been eating Indian food for over 40 years and I can honestly say the meal I got from Two Chefs was the worst meal I ever had. I ordered a chicken biryani and I got what is in the attached picture. No curry gravy (biryani sauce) just yoghurt and mango dip! I usually get that as a free-be as a dip with papadoms from my regular curry house. I phoned to complain and was told that is how they supply biryiani! I thought, OK, I'll give it a try. Well the chicken was just chopped chicken carcase with minimal meat, just bones. Absolutely horrible. I ended up throwing the lot in the bin. On top of the minimum meal charge of £20 I was charged a delivery fee, a service charge and a bag fee! Avoid this place!

Must admit, outside of the restaurant and the signage doesn't look too inviting but the food was DIVINE! We went in for my husband's birthday dinner with 8 people and the bill was less than £150. Starters were absolutely amazing and very reasonable. Absolutely beautiful food. Curries were very interesting and yummy as well. Service was excellent, very attentive waiter. I will recommend anyone who fancies lovely bit of curry in Weston.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Two Chefs Indian Restaurant, and I must say that the experience was delightful. The food was absolutely delicious and exceeded my expectations. The service at Two Chefs Indian Restaurant was also commendable. The staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. They were more than happy to offer recommendations.

Once inside you are warmly welcomed and immediately feel at ease with plentiful space and cosy atmosphere. The menu is interesting with options to suit different preferences. The plate presentation is exciting and the staff is very accommodating. I loved the oysters with a fresh mango drink.

Just really poor. Biryani rice dry, ordered 2 lots of poddadoms and pickles. 2 lots of poppadoms in bags with about a tablespoon of each sauce to divide between us all all for £7.90. Most expensive poppadoms ever had!!! Naans, hardly any chilli on one and peshwari was basically a butter naan with the tiniest amount of coconut and almond. Kuruma very salty. So disappointed as read reviews and was expecting much more. Will not order again.

A friend and I lunched at the Two Chefs recently and were greatly impressed by the quality of the service and food which tasted fresh, light, and pleasantly flavoured without being overpoweringly hot. This little gem of an Indian restaurant in WsM is highly recommended.

We went here for dinner with extended family on vacation and found it exceptionally good. Above all, the food was absolutely great and really authentic, Indian. Great spices, intense taste in hot or mild. Great for gluten-free food. The service was very friendly and gave us good advice. Something special is that you have to bring alcoholic drinks with you, which for us was a feature and not a bug. We felt very comfortable and had a perfect evening. Thanks!

We popped by tonight 19/12/24 to see what the chances were to get a table. We were greeted by some lovely staff and then the manager who said that he would have a table free around 8pm. We came back , and we were taken to the lovely booth table at the back of the restaurant , indeed the best table in the house I feel! A beautifully appointed restaurant , the decor a gorgeous mix of forest green and gold , low level lighting , velvet booths and lots of faux foliage . Smart servers , stylish menus , great choices of traditional meals along with some signature dishes all very reasonably priced. A comprehensive drinks menu with an extremely drinkable Prosecco. We ordered poapdums chutneys to start , very fresh warm popadums and the chutneys were delightful. Main courses were a Lamb Sagwala ( spinach in a tasty thick sauce , with finely chopped onion , coriander peas and spices ) the Lamb was tender and plentiful. Not swimming in grease/ ghee or overly saucy . A well balanced dish full of flavour with no heat , suitable for a person who prefers a mild / no heat curry A dish of lamb Bombay Flame , again tender lamb extremely well spiced and medium hot, it was very tasty with a lot of sauce. We had the special rice , which was very nice , flavourful dish and in a great portion for 2 of us sharing. The garlic naan was delicious , hot , pillowy , buttery delight with finely chopped fresh garlic . The service was impeccable , the food delicious , the cost was very reasonable. If you haven’t eaten here yet, you’re missing a treat.
