Cosy Hotel in central location with great room as well as lovely owner who gave a free room upgrade.

Afternoon coffee while our car was having new tires at ATS just along the road - latest of many visits . . . excellent coffee and sandwiches !

Gem of a pub ❤️ Popped in on the off chance for a Sunday carvery, met with friendly staff & great food, very tasty 😋 Two carvery's & two drinks £29 so good value too.

Food booked for 20 past 7 turned up waited another 20mins when was 1 other customers. I have no problem with waiting but why make us turn up for 20 past and then keep us waiting till 20 too 8. We where early too. could see most of are food sat in the hot-holding bit when arrived. Chicken was dry as a bone, onion rings undercooked and soggy. The burger stone cold i imagine been sat there since before we turned up and looked like been microwaved, cheese not melted mushrooms stone cold. Uneatable . Whole time the blond lady was either talking over the whole chip shop to a customer or out back leaving the young girl on here own while we waited. Utter joke. Only thing that was half eatable was the chips with mid warm curry sauce because that was the only thing done last minute instead of being cooked 30/40mins before and left in the hot-holding bit to dry out or microwaved. All for enjoying your work and having a laugh and singing and joking with customers but only if the quality of the work and end product doesn't get effected and not to be rude but that food was disgusting.

Only once in several visits have I actually been able to order a breakfast baguette, due to running out of baguettes. On the last visit they only had a few slices of bacon (10:15) but I was given extra sausages, however it was 3 bacon and sausage baguettes we wanted. The place is busy but every visit it seems they are out of one thing or another. Oh and only serving breakfast baguettes until 11am is unhelpful.
