Food is lovely never had a problem with anything allways will be coming here every Friday 😋

Poor staff, front of desk was rude and ignorant, the waitresses seemed like they didn’t have a clue what they was doing, restaurant manager was the same. Room wasn’t ready for check in time we was just left waiting when we did get our room, member of staff walked into our room randomly and didn’t knock. Got told we were upgraded, didn’t receive any of the upgrades! Dirty cups given to us at dinner. Left without finishing our meal. Breakfast there was no clean tables, no staff to talk to. Mattress was thin, you can hear everyone in the corridor, dirty plates left in the corridors. Ruined a birthday coming here.

We visited with friends for the Sunday carvery. Before the Pandemic we were regular users but haven't been back for many years, so we wondered if it was still as good. We had no need to worry, the Inglenook is even better than we remembered it, it has been redecorated and has new stylish furnishings the layout of the restaurant is now very spacious with no cramped tables. The Sunday carvery was always one of our favourites and if anything it is now even better, the food was absolutely superb, served up by really friendly and efficient staff. We can't wait for a return visit, a truly excellent experience

We're booked at the hotel on a spa break and dinner was part of the package. Have just finished a really lovely meal at Genevieve's restaurant. Food was great - had the lamb shoulder and my daughter had the beef rendang, both were delicious, and really generous portions. We were served by Amy R, who did an excellent job and was really friendly and helpful. Would definitely come back.
