The best restaurants in Pennington New Forest South East

just had the BEST southern fried chicken burger I have ever had, so I thought it deserved a review. Found The Food Hut Takeaway on Google whilst we’re staying in Sway for the weekend and quite honestly i’d go out of my way to go here again just for the food! Delivery was super quick too and food was piping hot 👌🏻

New to the area. Second time I’ve used these guys. Exceptional service and fantastic food. Cheers guys. B

Have been eating fish and chips from this shop for many years and today is possible the worst I have had from them. Chips are old! Possibly the loss of their best chef may be the issue! Please say this isn't what it's going to be from now on. Barely any cheese on my chips and dry as he'll!

We ordered a takeaway which arrived shortly after the time given . The food was hot and not at all greasy which can be a problem with some Chinese meals we have had elsewhere. . The Singapore noodles were lovely with fresh vegetables and not too much sauce on them . Our first order and will order again . Really happy with Happy Times

Probably the worst chippy meal I have ever had. Gravy was microwaved. There was enough salt on the chips to kill a thousand slugs and the steak pie was cold in the middle. How bad was it, well my dog refused to eat the leftovers and he normally eats anything and everything.

After several years, and with high expectations after previous visits when it was Gordleton Mill, we finally revisited the now called Old Mill for a long-awaited family gathering. Much has changed. The experience had its ups and downs. The conservatory was chilly until we requested the heaters be switched on. It does feel a little like you’re forgotten in the conservatory! Once sorted, the service was adequate, and the food was fine. I should say that we were grateful for the time spent together and a large table being made available for us, but maybe we set our expectations a little too high.

Excellent fish and chips served quickly. Went on a very busy weekday evening and the service was very efficient. Really good chips - generous portions!

Good old fashioned pub! Real people with real food. Homemade veggie burger was a nice change.

The nicest people ever!! My car got a flat tire and I went into the pub to get wifi to find help. Everyone there was so sweet, friendly and helpful! If I lived here, I’d go there everyday! The owners were so kind and even the other patrons were very friendly! Will go for lunch or dinner.
