What a great atmosphere and the team are so welcoming. The food is amazing and for me the chicken bacon and mayo wrap toasted is the best. Even when the day is long at work you can go to The Woodside Café and know you will have a great experience. From eating on site or takeaway - excellent result. Thank you for the great service and food team :)

Lovely local pub! Visited for the first time today and thoroughly enjoyed my time there. We had lunch which was perfect and good value. Staff were all friendly and made us feel welcome, the atmosphere was really nice. I couldn't recommend highly enough. Well worth a visit and we'll definitely be back ❤️

Not sure if the reviews on here are bots or they offered a discount. Half the size of what a burrito should be, minimal meat inside and the flavour was shockingly bad. Also the business offers no sides? For £12 Id expect more than a mini burrito and drink in a box. In response to island burrito's response - It was a group lunch order so you won't see my name. I'm concerned instead of addressing the issue you had to search for my order and falsify my honest opinion

We ordered from here tonight (we have ordered in the past and food has always been good). We ordered through Just Eat and selected two pies. Just Eat said that the pies come with mash and gravy, and gave us the option of a regular or large. We selected regular. Our food arrives and there are only pies; no mash, no gravy. So I try making contact. I try phoning and keep getting cut off, so I decided to send a Facebook message. All I wanted was the mash and gravy. As soon as I messaged, I was told that I had done it wrong and the options were Regular and Meal, which they certainly weren’t. Funnily, the restaurant went offline so I was unable to get any screenshots to show this. The conversation that followed was very unhelpful and quite frankly rude. They said they would come and collect the food, but at this point, the my husband has already eaten his pie. I said they could collect mine; then I sent a subsequent message saying not to bother, as I was too late for me to order more food from elsewhere so I would just eat that. The message was read. They sent a further message saying the driver was on his way and I referred them back to my previous message. Next think I know, I get a text from Just Eat telling me a refund has been processed. Then a delivery driver turns up at the door. I answer and ask if I can help, and he says he’s here to collect food and I advised that it wasn’t correct and to speak to the restaurant. He told me that they told him that I had been ‘moaning’ about the food and he had to collect it. He also stated he was just the messenger, but what followed certainly suggests he was involved directly with the restaurant. He began to argue with me, being very confrontational; would not allow me to speak to explain anything. I had to get my phone to show the message where I had said not to bother collecting or refunding. He wanted to go through all the messages . It got to a stage my husband even came to the door to get involved as the man was being so confrontational. I would’ve been perfectly happy to give them The money back for the food, but the guy seemed more intent on arguing that resolving the situation, just as the messages were. (I am fairly certain that the man collecting and the person replying to messages is the same person). My husband had to ask the man to leave out doorstep and he walked off shouting and swearing at us. I am not exaggerating when I say I honestly felt that I may need to phone the police. I’m still feeling very uneasy and will be very cautious over the next couple of days if anything happens around our house. The situation finished with me sending a message telling them to charge me again as I want nothing to do with them and do not want to ‘owe’ them anything. I can quite honestly say I have never experienced service of such a poor quality. I was disgusted by what just happened! Over mash and gravy... which I would’ve been perfectly happy to pay for had they simply admitted and explained there had been an issue with Just Eats mention!!!

3/9/24: VERY impressed today by the hard work and dedication of a young staff member named Jake. As I arrived he'd just been dispatched outside to clean spillages on the table. As I arrived (disabled and walking with a stick) he alerted me to spilt ice cream all over the ground. Once inside and seated I watched in-between conversations with my husband and son as this industrious young man (with his big bowl of soapy water, cloths and mops) cleaned the table spillages, floor spillages, door, handles and even the glass windows that were messy. Upon leaving I congratulated him on his hard work and dedication. You should be rightfully proud of such an employee. Not many employees (in my experience) take so much time and care over a messy and unappealing job. Well done Jake. I hope Costa are proud of you. If not, us customers are!!! Previous feedback: 30/12/23: NOT happy! I arrived at the Costa Drive thru around 1.10pm today. Signs on the ordering point said to drive to the window. I was 4th in queue. After 8 mins I was still 4th. Service was slow. Eventually a car moved off and we shuffled up one. Long story short, I had an appointment to get to for 2pm, the other side of the city. What should have been a quick pitstop was anything but. Sadly, road design means you can't drive off or give up. So eventually when I arrived at the window, around 1.35pm I had no choice but to say I was sorry but had no time to order now and drive off. As I left, the queue (from behind me) now reached onto Breckland. Poor buggers! Thinking back over the last month or two, the wait at this branch has been totally unacceptable for a drive thru. Add to that the fact the coffee is always served red hot/scalding I have now decided I'd rather drive to Great Linford and visit the best Barista in MK - Paulo at their Costa. I read somewhere that MK is to get another Costa drive thru soon. Oh, I do hope so. Hope they are organised, efficient and serve drinkable Coffee. I've used Costa drive thru's all over the country.... including Motorway ones and this branch has the longest queues, the slowest service and the worst coffee (temperature) of ALL of them. Suggest giving them a wide berth! Previous feedback: Busy venue. Service sometimes a bit slow, both in the store and the Drive Thru. Good selection of food (wonderful Biscoff Cheesecake - to die for). Also, more Costa products to buy than a lot of smaller stores. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Toilets cleaner than most. Free parking. Recommended!

Ive been here a few times to grab a coffee and do some work. Always been a friendly and hard working team. Special mention to Donna and the other lady serving who made my day by tempting me with sweet treats!
