Posh Burgers N Pies in Milton Keynes

We ordered from here tonight (we have ordered in the past and food has always been good). We ordered through Just Eat and selected two pies. Just Eat said that the pies come with mash and gravy, and gave us the option of a regular or large. We selected regular. Our food arrives and there are only pies; no mash, no gravy. So I try making contact. I try phoning and keep getting cut off, so I decided to send a Facebook message. All I wanted was the mash and gravy. As soon as I messaged, I was told that I had done it wrong and the options were Regular and Meal, which they certainly weren’t. Funnily, the restaurant went offline so I was unable to get any screenshots to show this. The conversation that followed was very unhelpful and quite frankly rude. They said they would come and collect the food, but at this point, the my husband has already eaten his pie. I said they could collect mine; then I sent a subsequent message saying not to bother, as I was too late for me to order more food from elsewhere so I would just eat that. The message was read. They sent a further message saying the driver was on his way and I referred them back to my previous message. Next think I know, I get a text from Just Eat telling me a refund has been processed. Then a delivery driver turns up at the door. I answer and ask if I can help, and he says he’s here to collect food and I advised that it wasn’t correct and to speak to the restaurant. He told me that they told him that I had been ‘moaning’ about the food and he had to collect it. He also stated he was just the messenger, but what followed certainly suggests he was involved directly with the restaurant. He began to argue with me, being very confrontational; would not allow me to speak to explain anything. I had to get my phone to show the message where I had said not to bother collecting or refunding. He wanted to go through all the messages . It got to a stage my husband even came to the door to get involved as the man was being so confrontational. I would’ve been perfectly happy to give them The money back for the food, but the guy seemed more intent on arguing that resolving the situation, just as the messages were. (I am fairly certain that the man collecting and the person replying to messages is the same person). My husband had to ask the man to leave out doorstep and he walked off shouting and swearing at us. I am not exaggerating when I say I honestly felt that I may need to phone the police. I’m still feeling very uneasy and will be very cautious over the next couple of days if anything happens around our house. The situation finished with me sending a message telling them to charge me again as I want nothing to do with them and do not want to ‘owe’ them anything. I can quite honestly say I have never experienced service of such a poor quality. I was disgusted by what just happened! Over mash and gravy... which I would’ve been perfectly happy to pay for had they simply admitted and explained there had been an issue with Just Eats mention!!!

Ordered on Uber Eats and WOW. Ordered the Double Burgers, Chips, Chicken nuggets, and Mac n Cheese bites. All of it was fresh and piping hot when delivered, the burgers were massive and you got plenty of chunky chips. I would say if your ordering the large burger one potion of chips will do two people. The Chicken nuggets were made with real chicken, make sure you get a sauce to go with them. The Mac n Cheese bits were nice but expensive £2.95 and you only get three bits. Would I order again ?......of course I will, be good if they done milkshakes too and hopefully in time they start that. Will try a pie and next time if the burgers are anything to go by then they will be delicious too.

First time I had used them, delivery was quicker then i thought. Cheeseburger was amazing, probably the best i have every had. great quality ingredients, obviously cooked fresh, Jalapeno poppers were yummy

Ordered a takeaway via Deliveroo. I was amazed at the selection of vegetarian and vegan burgers. Whilst I was expecting the standard bean or quorum burger, I was seriously spoilt for choice on this menu. Ordered the nutty and bean patty spicy burger as well as another veggie one with a double patty along with a side order of sweet potato fries. Order was delivered within half an hour despite the estimated 55 minutes provided by Deliveroo. Burgers were substantial and very tasty. Definitely going to try the pies next time.

This was my 1st order as I had heard about this home delivery from my wife who was looking locally for food after a hectic day.we ordered beef & ale pie mash and minted mushy peas plus one of there posh burgers bacon and peanut butter with sweet potato fries garden peas and pudding.the menu is a brilliant selection of many types of burgers and pies the food is cooked and package to a good standard and the service is good ,the food arrived in 35 mins all piping hot and yummy .if you need comfort food after a hectic day ,this company is a must to visit . They have a star rating and I can understand why ,it should be a 6 if I could give them one .

I ordered from this take away shop saying it would be an hour for delivery, 20 minutes later it arrived! Although the picture does no justice this was the best burger I’ve had and couldn’t believe how nice it was. This place is far from expensive and is a burger I’d expect from a restaurant coming straight from the kitchen. I will definitely be ordering from here again!! Many thanks

Expected at 18.30.....then had a message to say it would be around 18.20...it came at 18.11! Our burgers were gorgeous, I had a Dallas burger with sweet potato fries and my daughter had a cheeseburger with chunky chips. I’d definitely order again!!
