Halleys Comet in Milton Keynes

We always have such a lovely time at Halleys! It is our local and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better one. The atmosphere is always on point, staff and owners are lovely and really care about you having a great night. Friday discos are amazing too, DJ is really good and is also a really nice person too! I bring a lot of my friends here quite often and they’re all in agreement that there’s no need to go anywhere else whenever we’re planning a catch up. Tasty food, nice and reasonably priced drinks, fast service, great vibes and good music!

Staff are always friendly and welcoming! The food and drink is decent and really good for money! The music and event nights are always fun and accommodate for all! Lovely local for us and the managers are always available to assist with any need we have! Recently held a bday party here and again no complaints everyone had a great time and staff were very good at accommodating individual needs! Definitely recommended!

I absolutely love going to Halley's Comet. I run my monthly mum's in business international networking sessions there. It's a gorgeous pub, the customer service is fantastic, the food is delicious and Hannah and Simon are amazing. X

Amazing pub and food, Wendy was really polite and helpful coming over to our table checking up and asking if we needed anything. The food was spot on haven’t had a tastier katsu curry, defiantly will be coming back for hollie’s cooking

Well Mum really wanted a BIG party for her 50th so that’s exactly what we did!! I went with Hannah as well she’s amazing, the organisation, the communication, everything was catered to me and my preferences and nothing was to big or to small to Hannah and the details for everything was just perfect! Hannah went above and beyond creating my Mum her dream Mamma Mia themed party to the decorations, back drop, light up numbers and everything was catered to me as Hannah offers different packages to suit all! Hannah did the most generous buffet and the food went down a treat as you could select a variety! DJ Josh was smashing! He really got the crowd going, dancing, singing along and no song choice was too much for him he was just the best also entertaining the children! Simon worked hard around us as he supported the bar always smiling and nothing was to small for him either as he was so helpful and was always there if we needed too! The bar staff was amazing and the drinks were so reasonably priced too! It’s safe to say we had the best night! Thank you so much Hannah, Simon as Josh, catering and bar team for giving us this unforgettable memory! You’ve all been amazing and we know next time our perfect party venue! Lovely local pub! Visited for the first time today and thoroughly enjoyed my time there. We had lunch which was perfect and good value. Staff were all friendly and made us feel welcome, the atmosphere was really nice. I couldn't recommend highly enough. Well worth a visit and we'll definitely be back ❤️

This pub has undergone a huge transformation! Since Simon and Hannah took on the pub the venue has become almost a second home. The atmosphere, the quality of service and the whole look and feel of the pub has changed for the better. As a young adult I’ve looked consistently for a pub I could call my local and I have well and truly found it at Halley’ Comet. This pub is a fantastic place to bring your friends and family, a heartfelt venue with joyous staff and quality food n drink.. They offer all the services your local pub should offer and more! Can’t express how impressed I am going to this pub, they offer a venue for Pool teams, Darts teams, family functions, live music, live comedy, charity events, cater for birthdays both young and old. They do each and every single event with a huge smile on their face and have genuine interest in what they’re providing, creating a wholesome experience you want to keep reliving. I’ve been across Milton Keynes trying to find the place I’d like to take my family and friends to eat and drink, watch the footy or even just pop in for a good ole chin wag and I’ve found the place where that it is; Halley’s Comet. Your home away from home.

Just popped in for a drink with a walking group, place was clean and tidy, spacious. Sat outside on the benches.

Held a private function here and would highly recommend. Hannah and the team were very accommodating and helpful. The food was lovely with great bar service and reasonably priced drinks.

Poor reservation system, no option to open a tap, order details don’t match, rushed with food and drinks due to double booking.

Really friendly, lovely welcome. Chef brought the food out and was really helpful with my questions... and not forgetting, the food was really nice. Would definitely go again.

Had an amazing afternoon with my boy and niece - followed by Crafts, stone painting, colouring and even stone hunting. Then you have the bouncy castle, which let's the kids bounce free. Also, nearly forgot the kids eat for £2.50 for Main, dessert and drink. "Beats a Happy Meal and a Meal Deal" 😬😁 what can I say. The kids really enjoyed themselves. We'll defo be back for more 🥰😍

Nice venue, Lovely welcoming staff and our Server and went above and beyond with our 6 yr old daughter. The food was brought out Quickly and was enjoyable.

Thanks for the amazing experience we had watching the World Cup T20 finals with our friends. The management is really friendly and the place has a nice vibe. Thanks Hannah for sorting the TV audio. It’s a huge place as they were hosting three sporting events simultaneously and also had a karaoke session in the evening. Food is also really good.

We went in today for a cold drink and lunch. We met the new owners. All the staff are so friendly and fun. I ordered the fish and chips, my mum had the lasagne. The food arrived quickly, piping hot and delicious. It was very well presented and filling. We go there often anyway so will continue to go regularly. It's got a great atmosphere. I highly recommend!

It is quite pricey but with that comes quality food, well cooked and nice portions and cooked amazingly quick. Staff were very friendly and the environment was clean, felt cozy and spacious. Highly Recommended.

Just want to say massive thank u to new landlord for welcoming myself and. Y mum who is wheelchair bound with great care. Made sure she was sat comfy and helped carry drinks and made us fill so welcome me Hooe opening night goes well smash it. Honestly made mum mu. Fill so at ease thank u again we will b bk soon.

This pub has been recently taken over by Hannah and Simon, who are the most accommodating and friendliest landlords ever. The place looks amazing. Drink prices good, I am yet to sample the food, but honestly, I couldn't fault the effort they have made to make this a top notch pub. Can't wait to come to the events they have planned too. Fantastic boozer in a lovely location.

Didn't eat here. Was attending a birthday celebration. Lovely large indoor space and great terrace and garden. Slightly lacking in onsite parking however there are plenty of on road spaces about. Friendly helpful staff

Staff at Halley's Comet are friendly and accommodating. They were great with our children when we went in for lunch. The food was okay.

Great place lovely staff and food, there was a few middle aged people who got a bit loud and had to cover the kids ears, great for family meals just be careful when you go for a meal, but well worth a visit and all the food I have eaten was great.p

Christmas disco was amazing! We have come here a couple of times over Christmas period and had so much fun with the kids, we have been lots in the summer also with all the fun things they have on. Amazing pub for the family Kids always love the food Staff are lovely xx

My friend & I took my elderly mum for a meal in the evening as she didn't want to go too far from home. We were more than happy, the staff were all welcoming & helpful, the food was excellent and a good price too. The atmosphere was good, and we would definately go again next time we are visiting MK

A very well run, spacious pub with a hands-on landlady who runs a good ship. Very clean and neat, excellent covered area for smokers, and a well tended, spacious garden. Much better than it was under previous management.

Amazing place to go and relax during the day with friendly staff and customers. Although we didn’t have food on this visit we have in the past and enjoyed every bite. (I highly recommend the hunters chicken or gammon) Great menu choice even for the kids as well. Landlady was very approachable and helpful with our questions. (As we’re other staff members) Been to a few entertainment nights all have ran smoothly. The fundays/charity events are some top notch days to attend with a lot for kids to do. Over all a fantastic experience of coming here especially since the landlady took the place over a couple of years ago. Keep up the amazing work

Visited the pub with friends to play Disco Bingo. Great atmosphere with friendly staff. Disco Bingo was great fun and hopefully will visit again soon.

Anna has really turned this place around. I wouldn't have gone near it years ago but it's got a great family vibe to it along with some brilliant nights and entertainment.

Bit noisy, but we did go on a football night. Food reasonable. Service, collecting the dirty plates and offering dessert was very slow. Nothing to write home about, although the bar staff were very friendly.

This pub is amazing and the amount Anna does for families and children is unreal and its always so welcoming and warm hearted. My children always look forward to the activities that are put on during the half terms. There is always something for everyone going on and Anna always has events on for charity.

Kids under 18 gets kicked out at 9.30 even when there family friend is doing a singing turn at the pub.not great for family's, spoilt the evening as we had to leave with our grandchildren.

Chance to see a family friend perform at Halley's Comet pub with our grandchildren who were causing no problems not running around like some children a dog sitting on a seat, only to be told at 9.15 that children had to be out of the pub by 9.30pm, which totally spoilt our evening will never go back even though it's our local, it's supposed to be a family friendly pub ha joke

Booked family Christmas meal for 19 to find a clash with England football. Staff were so accomodating to large party with kids despite a super busy bar. Food was tasty and served promptly.
