Cosy Club in Milton Keynes

Called in here after an afternoon shopping trip. We had eaten elsewhere & just had a drink. Nice atmosphere, buzzing. My only gripe is the price of drinks. £11 or £12 for a cocktail & we paid £11.75 for a 250ml glass of Pinot Grigio. It was ok as a one off visit but wouldn’t be frequenting the place regularly with this pricing. We paid more for 2 glasses of wine than we paid for a bottle of Prosecco at Bills with our lunch.

Great decor, great food, nice tunes with a sax and singer jazz duo, and best of all warm friendly service from the charming Brett.

Took my wife for her birthday ,she had the posh Fish & Chips ,I had the prawn curry and a delicious flatbread ,both were excellent . We also had a nice cider and ginger beer .Service and ambience was great .Will definitely visit again …

Very nice food, I was there with my wife and daughter, and all 3 of us had something different, and each dish was very nice and tasty. There is also vegan dishes to choose from. We said we would definitely go there again when we travel down to Milton Keynes. Also dog friendly, which was nice.

My boyfriend’s favorite place, and I can see why! I’ve always believed that great people make great customer service, and Cosy Club proves that true. The service here is absolutely amazing, warm, friendly, and attentive. The menu is fantastic, with delicious food and a great selection of drinks. Always a wonderful experience! Highly recommend!

Went to this place to break up a midweek Christmas shopping trip and so glad we did, everything about it was perfect. We went around 4pm on a Tuesday in December and there was a few tables taken up but mostly available so not too busy, it had a nice atmosphere and was nicely decorated for Christmas. The waiter was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed once we were seated. We ordered 6 small plates which came out in good time and were so tasty, we’re glad we chose the small plates rather than just a main meal as it gave us a chase to have lots of different tastes over different courses. Sorry about the photos, they’re a bit dark and blurry as the lighting is nice a dim adding to the cosy atmosphere. Will definitely go again and highly recommended

Art Deco style restaurant, efficient and attentive but friendly staff and a great selection of dishes all freshly prepared so it did take a little longer than some other places. Well worth the slight wait, the food was beautifully presented and delicious. Would thoroughly recommend to all, but booking is best on busy days such as Saturday or Bank Holidays.

Brought my mum here on a recommendation while out shopping. We were warmly greeted and told to expect a 10 minute wait for a table (as we hadn't booked this was perfectly reasonable), the hostess kindly pointed out that we could look at a menu while we waited grab a drink at the bar. Looking at the menu while waiting was a nice touch as it meant that we were able to order quickly when we sat down. We waited around 25 minutes for the food, however as it was peak lunch time and clearly a busy time of the day we didn't mind. Food came hot and well presented! Would definitely return, our server was a lovely lady in a hat but unfortunately didn't get her name!

My friend and I were even surprised with two glasses of champagne on the house due to a bird today meal we were having, thanks to Reza, the manager. I have been here a lot. Booked a table for today 9th Feb 2025 a birthday treat. It took half an hour for a cup of tea and an hour for our breakfast and when it came food was cold my sister ordered extra toast and got one and half slices so paid extra for half a slice of bread. Dont know what has happened. Gone down hill. Very disappointed. If you cannot cope with the bookings you already have then dont except walkins. As you cannot cope with it being busy. 😔

Slightly expensive for the quality food. Service wasn’t good. The rocket and Parmesan salad was in tiniest bowl and cost £5.75. They took our order and then didn’t come back until we requested the bill. Even then no one ever asked if food was ok. Won’t be returning.

This is our third visit. But had hard poached eggs, took longer than excepted to replace and another 5 minutes for the slice of toast to go with them, do new eggs cold. Waiter never came back to the table to check on service.

Had a table at 10am so wasn’t busy at all. Drinks took nearly 50 mins to arrive (1 lemonade 1 OJ and 1 latte). Got them half way through our meals. Classic breakfast was average. Poached egg was pretty much hard boiled. Lady serving was excellent though. Very helpful and took the drinks off our bill when we asked as they took so long.

Went here for cocktails and was massively disappointed. Very dismissive when seating us, like we were an inconvenience, then the espresso martini was served with mainly foam, no actual cocktail, and made from a premixed solution you can get from supermarket, shot of prosecco was flat. Overall underwhelming experience, much better places in MK to visit.

We had an awful experience at Cosy Club. When we arrived, we waited to be seated and were told by a waitress to stand to one side while they looked for a table. As we waited, I saw the waitress bring two other lots of customers to their tables, even though we were still standing there. Once we were finally seated, the service didn’t improve. The waitress didn’t bring any glasses for water—we had to ask—and even then, it took ages. Meanwhile, I saw her serving other tables promptly, pouring their water and bringing glasses right away. When the food arrived, I asked for tomato ketchup, and the waitress said it needed refilling and would be brought over. I waited, but instead

Decided to try this for the first time instead of the restaurant at Marks & Spencers. Good choice. A friend and I just picked a couple of "light bites" and a delicious "bread" dish between us plus a few glasses of wine and coffee. Did take a little while to arrive but we weren't in a hurry. Waitress was very helpful and chatty. Overall, a great exerience. Would reccomend.

We have eaten here for brunch and dinner recently. Recommend reserving a table at busy times as it gets very busy - weekday evening much quieter. Good varied menu, good service. Dog friendly downstairs (enter via the outside doors).

Probably the worst old fashioned I've ever had, totally undrinkable

Absolutely terrible service. Waited over an hour for food, which, when it turned up was cold. It would appear the waitress serving us forgot to collect our food from the kitchen. The only warm thing was the plate. The mocktail I had was pleasant enough, but again due to poor service I didn’t order another one as no one came to check on our table to take any any further orders . Unable to review the food as it was too cold to consume by the time it eventually arrived. A request to not have chorizo the Spanish chicken dish wasn't adhered to. The food turned up with chorizo in it. Absolutely shocking, considering the consequences, had this been an allergy A really terrible first visit to the Cosy Club!

Absolutely lives up to its name! The ambiance is warm and inviting, the food is delicious (highly recommend smash burger absolute favourite ), and the staff are incredibly friendly. A perfect spot for a relaxing evening. Worth every penny!

We needed to pick somewhere central in MK and the cosy club came up as an option. We’re all so glad we went. Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and so many breakfast options, all reasonably priced. Also nice to go to a place like this and be served a good cup of coffee! Would recommend parking further away and avoid the extortionate parking charges.

The atmosphere was definitely cosy making it a great place for date nights. I loved the nice, comfy booths. The food confused me though; never have I ever been served a burger with gravy? It wasn’t horrible but I didn’t do anything for the meal either. Overall, very basic dining experience.

PERFECT! I tried this place out for the first time today for lunch, hands down the best meal I've had in a long time, The Thai sea bass was incredible! I'll be going back repeatedly until I've tried everything - if you like eating out you have to eat here.

There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that we had the best service at Cosy Club we have had this year. Even Michelin-starred restaurants cannot hold a candle to our waiter, Brad, and the overworked yet welcoming maître d’ at the front desk. Cosy Club has an electric atmosphere, terrific staff, and the best cocktails. Unfortunately, their Chicken Asian Salad was one of the worst I’ve ever sampled. It’s hard to make something so tasteless and dry. I would have been better off nipping to Pret! Avoid it—someone needs to teach them how to make a proper one. However, for traditionalists, there are plenty of amazing options on the menu. The food might come second in this brilliant experience, but the staff make it truly unforgettable.

I have stopped here a handful of times whilst in Milton Keynes shopping center and the atmosphere and service is always so appreciated! The staff here are all attentive and friendly. I find it a calming spot away from the madness to catch up with friends and to have a break before going back into the center. Absolutely I will be back. My waiters today were shankar and I believe reza was the other gentleman’s name. I also would like to mention the genuine warm from another staff member whose name I didn’t catch. But she was wearing a black and white beret as she was leaving!

Absolutely awful experience yesterday with rude staff who are terrible with communication in the MK branch. We went in after shopping at 7.30 pm and were told they were fully booked.there were kids if tables empty so we left but we decided to check if we could book online. Managed to find and reserve a table via their website for 8 pm. I still decided to call and confirm as we had walked a long way away by then .. the manager Reza confirmed the reservation. Then when we came in 15 mins early he said we can sit at the bar ( we had a 5 year with us ) and he said he needs to check ‘if he can find a table’ … I was shocked at his behaviour and attitude and we go out quite a lot and have never experienced this before. It was bizarre. He then started to use very aggressive language continually saying the same thing that ‘he will try to find a table’ and that he can’t see the reservation in the system. This was a lie because he did confirm on the phone. He then hands me his business card where I’m supposed to email a complaint against him to his email address and tells us he doesn’t have a table for us?! Absolute disgrace. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone. Read some of the reviews online and it seems he’s done this before with other customers. The manager behaved as if he was managing the Ritz not a random chain pub inside a mall.

Lovely venue & decor, staff friendly but service was very slow! Waited ages for drinks, they didnt all come out together & had missed drinks! Waited ages for the food, very nice but overpriced, £16.75 for a burger no bigger than a big mac, paid extra for fries, plate needed dressing with a salad as looked bare! Others had a dessert while I asked for an Irish coffee, they waited ages for these. By the time they had finished, I still hadn't got my coffee, when it did arrive, it was barely warm & didn't taste very nice.

One of the best restaurants to go for breakfast in milton keynes. We have been going there on many occasions. The food quality is great. I have very difficult dietary requirements, but they have always met my expectations. The atmosphere is always good too.Reza and his team are very attentive and professional and they always serve you with a friendly smile. Can't recommend enough.

Went on Tuesay for a quick bite to eat, was served by daisy,who was very friendly and knowledgeable, we had the smash burger and a steak, both came quickly and were hot and full of flavour.

I had not visited this chain before and was impressed by the menu, decor (lovely pictures in the walls!) the food was tasty and the toilets clean. The service was hit and miss. They were very helpful when we wanted to move to a more comfortable table for our needs and the chap looking after our table was attentive - but not intrusive - and very helpful and friendly. He was very sweet indeed and he took a great photo of us as well! However we asked someone else for mayo and ketchup and had to chase it up . They had run out of vinegar - weird . But our waiter did eventually find us some - which was nice. And the coffees were a bit cooler than we would have liked. It was a busy Saturday and service was a bit slow but on the whole it was a good visit. At the time of booking online it said we only had the table for a short while which was a bit stressful as we were a group of friends meeting after a long time. However the staff were great and we were able to stay at our table for a while longer . I would probably give this chain another go.

Given the prices we were disappointed but it’s not all bad. The positives: lovely venue and nice atmosphere. The servers are also very friendly. The cons: it’s expensive for what is largely disappointing food and small portions. The service, while friendly, was slow and we waited almost an hour for our food which was nothing special at all. It could potentially be fabulous but its food and pricing needs an overhaul.

Such a beautiful space! I've walked past it countless times and never realised it was there. A real oasis away from the mayhem that is the shopping centre. Went there with a group of friends today and when the server (very sorry, didn't get her name) overheard our discussion and realised we were celebrating two birthdays, she generously offered us a bottle of Prosecco on the house. The food was delicious (we had the small plates) and you must not forgo the desserts, which was even better. Great ambience and warm service. Already looking forward to my next visit!

Usually a great experience every few months, unfortunately me and a friend just popped in to get some picky bits and granted it was busier we were told 10 min wait we were okay with that, we were then seated on the high tables with our menus as we were waiting we got some drinks. Then more people came in and were also seated on high tables same as us, two separate pairings got taken to tables before us and we felt ignored. We were acknowledged by the manager (I assume) before the second pair was seated saying we will be next, as we got up to leave he came over and said do we still want food. We politely decline and say we will leave. It’s the matter of how we were known to arrive before the others by the manager and still not seated. Best to avoid on Fridays and weekends good for weekdays

Came in on a Wednesday for a birthday. We were severed by Ocean. She was amazing. Service was fantastic. We had ordered a selection or starters (order loads they are all soooooooo good) and we all had the buttermilk chicken and the Seabass. All was amazing!!!! A must if you have any party or if you want a small intimate gathering. Definitely will be returning!

We booked a table for 1pm as we knew it would be busy Managed to order drinks and food quite quickly It then took 15 minutes for our drinks to come and was then told one of our dishes (sea bass) was unavailable,after reordering we then had to wait an hour for our food to come by which time our drinks were flat My burger was salty and never worth£20 and my wife’s veggie brunch was extremely sparse Don’t know why it is called the cosy club extremely noisy and hot and the lighting is awful Never again

The food was fabulous!!! The Asian chicken salad was sooo delicious with the soya dressing. My friend had the King prawn curry and thoroughly enjoyed it. Creme brulee was amazing to finish the meal off. Thank you to Ash for looking after us so well. We will be back!!

Second time we have been to Cosy Club. Ordered breakfast which arrived on very lukewarm plate so food was not hot. We were hungry and had an appointment so we ate it quickly without complaint.More disappointingly our pots oF tea were not hot either!We drank then straight down! Ordered more tea which came super hot and was enjoyable. Waiter was apologetic and said he would inform the kitchen. We heard nothing else ,paid up and left.

This is my new favourite place for sure. Food amazing, atmosphere supreme,just stunning!
