Great country pub this, staff very friendly the pub is dog friendly and its ideal for family's that like to lunch. Worth a try 😉

Cosy traditional family pub, friendly staff, good fare and beer, situated in Cuckfield. The garden space out back is a treat for sunny days.

Went for afternoon tea with friends. Not as pricey as some others around here, but still expensive for what was offerred. The waitress introduced us to the 'tower' of comestibles. I didn't recognise the mille feuille until she said what it was, less of the mille more like two un-flakey slices . Scones seemed to have been microwaved since they went a bit hard, but the jam with them was very good. Made the mistake of asking for another pot of tea and some water which greatly added to the bill

Usually buy from cuckfield and it’s cooked fresh but tonight even though I called I was clearly given fish that had been sitting cooked a few hours before feedback it’s not very nice and not worth 31.00. Shame as I think I will try another F&C shop to try.

We stopped here for coffee and after placing our order we waited ages for it to arrive. 5 minutes after our order arrived we were then told that they were closing in 10 minutes. Not impressed was an understatement. Steer clear of this place if this is the service that is expected.
